This review is dedicated to one of its stars, the lovely Candida Royalle, who passed away earlier this month. While apparently ambivalent about her initial work in the industry, she went on to become an early female director and to also produce her own, female-focused films...all at a time when neither was common, and the industry was distinctly male-dominated. Candida was, in fact, a true pioneer of the blue screen, helping shape and direct the course of adult films as a developing genre. Indeed, if anything can be said about her life and career, it's that she believed in herself when others might not have and that she ultimately made a difference...a big one.
Review:
At the Country Girl Pizza Parlor, the pies are always served up piping hot and with a smile (...a vertical smile that is...), as all of the restaurant's male (and female) clientele quickly finds out. Such is the case in "Hot & Saucy Pizza Girls", a very good, classic adult film from Bob Chinn. Featuring the incomparably cute Desiree Cousteau, the recently-passed porn pioneer and feminist, Candida Royalle (RIP), and also the beautiful Laurien Dominique and Christine DeShaffer, who takes on the booty-duties, this fun flick offers up a look at a pizza place whose owner, John Holmes, is more interested in offering up pussy than pepperoni...unless it's his own, of course. While the plot does jump the shark in a big way about halfway in, the overall production never loses its charm, and the storyline is more than strong enough to keep the audience's interest. For fans of porn with a plot, vintage adult fare, or simply those looking to expand their horizons beyond the cookie-cutter banality of many more-modern productions, this one's worth a look.
In terms of the sex, the Betty Boop of porno past, Desiree Cousteau, stops by the pizza parlor to fill out a job application with the legendary John Holmes (Scene One). Of course, her pie is far more interesting to him than any that they're cooking up in the back, and she's a big fan of the sausage, so the fucking that follows all more or less makes sense. Either way, it's hot as fuck, however, with Ms. Cousteau giving up the beaver and John--fully erect--pounding away at it. He ultimately delivers a hefty side of sauce...all over Desiree's face and mouth...in capping off this hot fuck. Nice!
The next five sequences (Scenes Two, Three, Four, Five, and Six) are all essentially inter-cut and involve the ladies making their special brand of "deliveries".
Scene Two pairs up the pornographic feminist and pioneer, Candida Royalle, and her customer, Richard Pacheco, at his apartment. It's oral and vaginal (soft) action that ultimately culminates with an apparent internal pop. Candida was something special.
In Scene Three, Laurien Dominique gives a double to Paul Thomas and Spender Travis at their place. She doles out oral on Spender whilst simultaneously riding Thomas, with the former providing a facial and the latter gooping up her backside. Very good!
Scene Four finds the bubbly (and talkative) Desiree Cousteau spreading her legs for Carl Regal's eager tongue and then blowing him until he spunks up her chest. Hot!
In Scene Five, Vicky Lindsay pleasures herself with a carrot as she awaits Christine DeShaffer's delivery...which happens in short order...and then finishes up frantically with the aid of the young lass in even shorter order (Scene Six).
Scene Seven brings together John Holmes with his delivery girls, Candida Royalle and Christine DeShaffer, in an Asian-themed backdrop. Holmes slips it to both ladies in style, and there's plenty of girl-on-girl carpet munching to accompany him. He pulls out of Candida in doggie to unload on Christine's face and neck. Sexy!
In Scene Eight, Desiree Cousteau uses her naive Southern charms to seduce the nerdy (...and equally pervy...) undercover cop, John Seeman, back at their apartment building. Desiree doesn't take long to bring him to attention, and she then rides and fucks him until he drops one in her belly button. Desiree was awesome.

In all, despite its shark-jumping plot, this is still a fine, Golden Age fuck flick starring some of its era's biggest (...and best...) female talent. Anything with Desiree Cousteau is essentially a winner, and the amazing Candida Royalle (RIP) always brings a lot to the table, as well. For fans of classic adult fare, this one's worth checking out.
