review from 1/10/2015:
Plenty of trouble--and a heapin' helpin' of country carnality and backwoods boinking--follow, when the infamously randy, outlaw duo of Bonnie and Clyde find their way into Racquel Darrian's small, rustic town. Such is the case in the aptly titled production from Vivid and Paul Thomas, "Bonnie and Clyde". A very good release featuring some of the hottest stars of its day (...or of any day, for that matter...), this one is strong on plot, settings, and sex and is likely to please even the more sophisticated of feature fan. Rather delectable cinema featuring two legends and the film utilizes them well. We get Racquel and Ashlyn doing their best fucking both with others and with each other. When it comes to sheer beauty, no one beats Racquel. [read the full review]

review from 12/9/2001:
Bonnie & Clyde is a great couples film with a slim plot holding it together. I cant recommend it for fans of nasty sex or people who cant stand any plot in their adult films as there is enough of a plot here that it will interfere with their viewing. It would have been nice if the video had been of better quality and that instead of putting the useless standard Vivid special features that the two films had been presented in their entirety as there would have been plenty of space for them. Vivid has done an acceptable job with their DVD release of Bonnie & Clyde. [read the full review]

It's all about running and raunch (...and not necessarily in that order...) when two insurance investigators, Jamie Gillis and Robert Bullock, discover that the subject of their recent inquiry is a low-level mob boss, Frank Hollowell, in "Girls on Fire", an overall-good, mid-80s release from VCX and Jack Remy. Due to the video problems if you are a fan of the film or it sounds like a good movie to you, you probably want to wait and hope that a better version of it gets released in the future. As this is a limited edition release it will eventually leave the market and anther company may re-release a better print of it. If you are still considering purchasing it, I suggest that you rent it first so you can see how bad the video problems are before you purchase so you don't end up disappointed. [read the full review]

review from 5/28/2016:
As a young woman attracted solely to married men, the brunette beauty, Kelly Nichols, finds herself perpetually used and disappointed in both her love life and her professional life, as she's frequently cast off to the shadows in favor of wives and children in her various affairs. Never is this more the case than when her boss, the taken Eric Edwards, opts to not only take advantage of her for himself, but also for the sake of the company. Such is the case in "The Mistress", an overall-good, 1982 release from director Jack Remy and VCX. [read the full review]

review from 1/30/2004:
I-Candy's DVD release of Insatiable was really well done, with obvious time and attention spent on it. A DVD well worth buying. Now I personally always prefered Insatiable II, so when I saw that I-Candy had released it on DVD I jumped at the chance to buy it. What a mistake. This DVD is almost the exact opposite of the Insatiable DVD release. The menus were obviously quickly thrown together, with a quality so poor that the DVD creators should be embarassed to have their names associated with it (e.g. menu selections indicated by an ugly big handrawn single color red X next to the item). There are no extras to speak of, there's no time code on the movie, and for some reason the movie plays horizontally squished to 50 of it's proper width (imagine the reverse of letterbox) on my Pioneer DVD player, on which I've played hundreds of DVDs and NEVER before seen this effect. And worst of all, the movie is missing LARGE segments from the original release for no percievable reason. [read the full review]

review from 2/12/2017:
"Marilyn Chambers Private Fantasies 4", the fourth installment in the Marilyn-driven, 1980's fantasy vignette series from I-Candy, offers up seven sequences starring the former Ivory Snow Girl, all nominally representative of her various fantasies and/or experiences. One of the true adult legends of yesteryear, Marilyn is in top form here...athletic, fit, and firm...and it's clear that she, as of the time of this filming, hasn't lost a sexual step from her earlier days in the industry. Despite clocking in at only about 80 minutes, all of the sequences are erotic, well-captured, and well set up...and every instant seems used to excellent effect. [read the full review]

review from 8/9/2016:
John Holmes is at it again as his cooler-than-you, private investigator persona, "Johnny Wadd", in "The Jade Pussycat", a very good, 1977 release from Bob Chinn and I-Candy. This time around, Holmes has been employed by the sister of a low-rent thief, Jon Martin, to find him after he goes missing upon stealing a near-priceless artifact, the Pussycat. As it turns out, it's the criminal Linda Wong and her gang of Chinese thugs who are behind the kidnapping, and what ensues is an old-school, P.I. adventure reminiscent of mainstream stories of its era...but served up with a heaping helping of Holmes' mammoth meat and good ole-fashioned fucking. review from 6/18/2016:
It's all about the chicanery, the subterfuge, and the sex (...and not necessarily in that order...) when everyone's favorite porno action hero, John Holmes (as Johnny Wadd), is put to the task of purchasing and bringing home safely an extraordinarily rare and expensive South African diamond. Of course, no one is to be trusted in this endeavor and just about everyone is--and turns out to be--a potential threat. Such is the case in I-Candy's "Blonde Fire", a very good, 1979 release from director Bob Chinn that features Holmes in yet another, acting-heavy, protagonist-type role that finds him again as the suave, cool-under-pressure, up-to-the-challenge hero. review from 7/26/2014:
Blonde Fire is the final film in the Johnny Wadd film series that Bob Chinn had any involvement with. Blone Fire isn't the greatest film in the series and I wish that the series had a stronger film to end with. That aside, the film is enjoyable and has a decent plot and some enjoyable sex scenes. I-Candy's transfer for the film is disappointing. [read the full review]

review from 12/17/2016:
All hope seems lost for four lovely "ladies" and their elderly, wealthy escort when their westbound stagecoach comes under attack by Indians and has to limp into a dusty, desert town...only to then find themselves taken captive by the bandits who populate the small berg. Fortunately for the women, these baddies end up having hearts of gold, and they all ultimately find themselves not only awash with cash, but also with plenty of love, lust, and dick. Such is the case in "Dirty Western 2: Smokin' Guns", the loosely-related sequel to director Adele Robbins' 1975 rape-and-pillage "classic", "Dirty Western". [read the full review]

review from 10/13/2001:
Dirty Western 2 is the sequel to the classic 1975 film A Dirty Western and is done by the same writer/director, Joseph F. Robertson. Dirty Western 2 is a well-done film in all aspects except for the plot. The plot that is present is very thin but manages to hold the film together. However, what it is lacking in the plot is made up for with lavish sets and great costuming, except for a very out of place nipple ring. Metro has done a good job with their DVD release of Dirty Western 2. [read the full review]

review from 6/19/2017:
All bets are off when a struggling actor who also happens to be a smooth-talking ladies' man, Jamie Gillis, signs on to be a part of a plot hatched by a wealthy, Hollywood mogul to cheat his relatives (a sister and four nieces) out of their inheritance from his dying (...and wealthier...) anti-sex crusader of a brother. Of course, this is a porno, so Jamie and his pals (John Leslie and Paul Thomas) are tasked with bedding all of the women in the family (with proof) to demonstrate their profound lack of morality and to get them kicked out of the will. The only thing that might get in the way of such an "easy", foolproof plan? Love. Such is the case in "The Ecstasy Girls", an exceptional, 1979 release from Caballero and director Robert McCallum. review from 1/15/2002:
Here is a splendid little classic from 1979, produced by Harold Lime and directed by Robert McCallum. As is usual with "Golden Age" classics, the plot, acting, exterior shots and general production values are outstanding. This flick was shot on location in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and San Francisco. They dont make them like this anymore. Jamie Gillis plays a washed up B-movie star who is down on his luck. He has been reduced to escorting starlets to movie premieres, a service for which his agent pays him a few bucks plus expenses. He still makes the rounds of Hollywood parties, however, and at one such event, his host, J.C. Church, observes him seducing Desiree Cousteau. It is a hypnotic scene; Cousteau was a beautiful girl with wonderful, natural breasts. Georgina Spelvin secretly observes them, while being secretly observed herself by J.C. Church telephones Gillis that night with an interesting proposition. J.C. is the brother of Edgar Church, a rich industrialist from whom J.C. stands to inherit money. [read the full review]

review from 3/5/2001:
Starring: Kay Parker, Dorothy LeMay, Juliet Anderson, Tawny Pearl, Lynn Shannon, Mike Ranger Directed By: Kirdy Stevens In my old college lit classes Oedipus Rex was my "go to" play. If we were called upon to write essays on irony, tragedy, flawed characters, or any of the other big dramatic topics for discussion, I always turned to that father killing, eye poking, incestuous king for source material. Of course, I didn't know shit about Medea or Troilus and Cressida, but I didn't have to; I had my regal Greek motherfuckers down. Kirdy Stevens' Taboo barely resembles the themes of Oedipus Rex, and we all agree that it's unfair to hold any pornographic work to the same standard of Sophocles' greatest play, and yet I'm gonna do it anyway. Taboo is the story of a boy and his mother. [read the full review]

Starring: Anna Malle, Goldie Summers, Michelle Phillips, Phoenixxx Black, Jessie James, Vince Voyeur, Hank Armstrong. Pros: Anna Malle, Goldie Summers slow blow jobs, outdoor sex Cons: Deceptive promotion, the female star of the film (based on screen time) cant carry a film, poor production quality, lack of chick ID, paint ball thrown in as the mediocre porn backdrop, more cast on the boxcover than in the sex scenes, I usually interpret Cast Bios as being plural Why I bought it: UmmmI actually can be a sucker for things that suggest nude sports in a softcore way. I thought Id try some hardcore that suggests nude sports. False Advertising Alert? I count five female names on the box cover, but there are only four girls in the sex scenes. Overall: This DVD is pretty much what you would think it would be, mediocre porn (at best), with paintball used mostly to somehow create breaks between the sex scenes in some form of plot. Anna Malle is by far, the most known of the girls and she does grace (kinda odd word to use in a sentence with Anna Malle, I know) two scenes. [read the full review]

review from 3/6/2004:
Trouble, the 1989 Vidco release, stars Tori Welles, one of porns steamiest performers of all time. This is a decent flick, as directed by Fred J. Lincoln, but it includes most of the standard porn film clichés of that era. That is, marginal storyline, plenty of large breasted women (not a girl in the bunch), lots of from-behind camera angles (grrrr!), and quick cutaways after the money shot (another grrrr!). Tori wakes up one morning with amnesia, not remembering what she did the previous night, and not having the slightest idea of the identity of the dead guy laying next to her in bed. She splits and meets up with her attorney, Randy West. He tells her to go home, that hell take care of her mess. Next thing you know, Tori is in jail on murder charges. Randy the rat is in cahoots with Jacqueline, a busty brunette/redhead. Turns out its her husband lying in the morgue and theyve set up Tori as the fallgal to inherit his big bucks. Sometimes being in the right place at the right time can really change your life. That is exactly what happens to Gina Carrera. During a night out with her lover, they end up at a place where there is a special event taking place, a cock sucking contest. Once all the bets were placed, the girl that was hired to do the blowjob was allowed to start. A few minutes into the bj, the girl got angry at her manager for constantly yelling at her, so she quit halfway thru the event. Suddenly the cheering crowd quickly became an angry mob, and demanded their money back. Gina decides to stand it for the girl that quit, and after easily getting the guy off under the time limit, Gina is informed that there is alot of money to be made in these contests. The girl that quit calls her friend Cythia Silkthroat on the telephone and tells her about this new girl that gives great blowjobs, and that she may be entering the Superbowl of Suckoff Championship. If people want to have sex for my entertainment, who am I not to watch them? That means, among other things, that I have absolutely nothing against "old school" porn. By the same token, however, I don't think "classic" movies are inherently better than what's made today. With that in mind, Blue Ribbon Blue presents itself as a greatest hits package of classic stars. Unfortunately, it's not. In fact, it was produced years ago before its performers were even considered legends, and its poor mastering reflect just how much of a thrown together effort it actually is. Had they known that it would be released in the 21st century, it's producers may have paid closer attention to what they included. [read the full review]

Most of what I wrote about "The Ecstasy Girls" also applies to this film. This is a 1982 Harold Lime production, directed by Robert McCallum. With Veronica Hart and Annette Haven, there's more star power in this flick, but the final product is not quite as good as the wonderful "Ecstasy Girls." The plot is "Ecstasy Girls" in reverse. Here, Georgina Spelvin is the publisher of a soft-core porn mag called "Panther," featuring centerfolds of smart college girls. Some morality guardians form a committee called Morality over Madness (MOM), and try to put Panther out of business. Spelvin has to round up her centerfold graduates to go out and seduce the committee members, retain evidence of the hanky-panky, and ultimately blackmail the members into ceasing their assault on Panther magazine. Running Time: Approx. 95 min (There are no scene indexes or time codes on the DVD) Cast: Annette Haven, Veronica Hart, Jesie St. James, Georgina Spelvin, Desire Cousteau, Lisa De Leeuw, Tara Aire, Jacqueline Brooks, Frank Hollowell, Richard Bolla, Michael Morrison, Eric Edwards, and Mike Horner (who isn't even listed in the credits) Director: Robert McCulum Extras: Photo gallery and Jump to a Scene (I guess this is actually an extra feature when you don't have chapter markings on a DVD) Audio / Video Quality: The audio and video quality is better than what I would have expected for an adult film this old. The video is average and the audio echoes in spots, but is much better than other adult films of this age, such as the Original Debbie Does Dallas. The Review: Centerspread Girls kind of reminds me of my youth. It revolves around MOM trying to stop porn (or at least not let me have it). In this case, MOM is Morality Over Madness, a moral majority group which has been trying to shut down Panther magazine for years. [read the full review]

Let My Puppets Come is a real oddity in the world of adult film being the first, and only, adult puppet musical movie. The film is an adult puppet show that lampoons the adult film industry, with well-made puppets, extensive musical numbers, and a good heaping of low-brow humor. Let My Puppets Come isn't going to be for everyone in fact, the viewers that will genuinely enjoy the film will be in the minority. For the right viewer, though, Let My Puppets Come is a fun film. Caballero has done a poor job with their DVD release of the film with a low-quality picture and even lower quality sound and a version that is missing 35 minutes of the film. [read the full review]

There were parts with some piano music, which fit pretty well. Extras: Just a few photos. General comments: I was curious about this one because it featured puppets, and was the only one of its kind. I had heard some disturbing comments about it, but I can't imagine what it was that bothered people about this movie. I thought it was kinda cute. But then, I'm not 100 certain that I'm not some kinda pervert, because this is listed in the 'Fetish' category, too, so there could be something here that I'm missing. Sure, there was the part about about the dog fucking his mistress, but they're dang puppets, for christssakes! It was one of the funniest parts, too, with the dog as a real smooth talker who gets into her shorts. [read the full review]

Directed by Stuart Canterbury, SIRENS really cannot be described as a classic by any means, despite its VCA Classics description. With the (unfortunate) exceptions of Ron Jeremy and former gay actor Eric Price, none of the starlets in this shot-on- video feature are active in the porn industry today. And for porno newbies currently raised on a diet of SODOMANIA and GANGBANG GIRL videos, there may be very little reason to watch, let alone purchase, this rather straightforward, simple early 1990s release. However, for the old-timers like myself who recall when porn attempted to incorporate a story in their movies, and when gynecological close-ups of dilated sphincters were less than common- place, a viewing of SIRENS is almost refreshingly quaint. It also helps a great deal that this video features one of VCA's best former contract stars, namely the hard-bodied and devlishly sexy Selena Steele. [read the full review]

She displays those wonderful tits of hers as she changes on the way to the shoot, going on to say that she is from Tulsa, or as she put it a slut spelt backwards, Oklahoma. They arrive at the location where she meets up with Tom Byron, Marc Wallice, and Paul Cox, and soon they all move indoors, and once inside, she strips and bends over to show off that wonderful ass, then, while on her knees, she starts giving Tom a bj. Marc slips in from behind to fuck her pussy soon after, as she continues to suck Toms cock. Army Brat, part of the Brat series from Vivid, is a fun amusing movie from the 80's. What makes this movie so fun is that the cast, themselves, seems to be having a good time which compensates for the silly plot. The plot is enough to keep the film going, but not enough that you have to worry about getting dragged down by it. The acting is incredibly cheesy but fun to watch. "The Violation of Tori Welles" is a good 1990 release from Caballero that’s essentially a compilation and that brings with it something of a bizarre twist. Weaving the various scenes together is an interspersed sequence of an intruder who’s apparently broken into Tori’s home. He rifles through her photos, magazines, and pictures…and he watches her videos, touches her AVN award, and ultimately sniffs and steals a pair of her panties. All of this is inter-cut between the five segments that make up the disc. [read the full review]

Synopsis This 1983 Henri Pachard classic is a wholesome romp. Raincoaters can pass it by unless they are just in the mood for a little fun. The quirky humor, goofy music, and nostalgic feel of Sexcapades may please people who enjoy the feel of Pink Panther movies. The plot involves a director attempting to make a porn film. Scene 1 Joanna Storm and Alan Adrian perform a fumbling audition for two bored porn producers. Her earnest but misdirected enthusiasm is a real hoot. At one point she stops the sex to put socks under her knees to prevent rug-burn. Peter Meter = zero Scene 2 Sharon Mitchell plays a sexually clueless wife in a fluffy, unsexy nightie. Her alternately prudish and giggling responses to husband Eric Edwards will leave you feeling smug. She throws in a few moans for his inexpert cunnilingus. review from 3/7/2003:
Here is a Harold Lime/Robert McCallum classic from 1982 that is still famous over 20 years later. It won six adult film critic awards, including best picture. Because it was filmed near the end of the "golden age," there aren't quite as many exterior shots as there would have been in movies a few years older. The plot involves a madam named Amanda (Veronica Hart) who, as a favor to her former pimp and lover (Jamie Gillis), sets up an S & M session for a local politician. The girls that she sends for this session (Lisa de Leeuw and Samantha Fox) are later found dead. R. Bolla plays the straight-arrow homicide detective trying to solve the case, without much help from Amanda. To make matters worse, there's a corrupt vice squad cop (Ron Jeremy) who is constantly getting in the way. By today's standards, this is couples' fare, with relatively short sex scenes, and loads of plot. It's so good-hearted, it could almost be on the Family Channel. Veronica Hart gets to over-act and ham it up ridiculously. It's a good movie, but a poor DVD. [read the full review]

Well this was a recommended title I was put onto recently as I was looking for a good Zara White facial. This movie is a typical Andrew Blake style movie except there is more b/g sex than I have seen in the other films of his I have seen but I have only seen a handful so there that is but I quite enjoyed this one. It features the lovely Ashlyn Gere in a great role for her. She is riding around in a limo playing with herself in between the sex scenes. Rather than bore you with plot details which I don't really care about let's get to the sex. I will hit the points I really enjoyed in this film and there were many. It starts off with Zara being a voyeur while I believe it was 5 girls get in on with a guy in a room in another building. [read the full review]

John Leslie's "The Chameleon", which many, including this reviewer, consider his masterpiece, begins with a soothing blues ditty by Bill Reid as the credits go up. We then open with a woman named Diana (Tori Welles) talking to her psychiatrist (Richard Pacheco). It appears that she has sexual problems, although they're not what you would probably imagine. It turns out that Diana's a "chameleon". If you don't know what I mean, just read ahead and you soon will. We then cut into a sizzling sex scene with a woman (April West) taking on two guys (Scott Irish, Axel Horn). After they are finished, the woman goes to the bathroom, where she turns into Diana! She has the ability to change her identities, which she takes to her full advantage. This is much to the chagrin of her boyfriend Marc (Tom Byron), for whom sex is a much more meaningful experience. The NuTech dvd of Debbie Does Dallas has slightly better picture quality than the VCX disc while the audio quality is virtually the same. There are 4 minor cuts made to the NuTech dvd that are not made to the VCX dvd though, but overall I feel confident in making a recommendation that you buy the NuTech dvd of Debbie Does Dallas because of the better picture quality and the fact that the movie is put on one track which eliminates the pauses that are present on the VCX disc while the movie switches between tracks. These 4 cuts do not amount to very much and you are not missing much in terms of actual sex or story. There are only 19 seconds total cut from the NuTech dvd so as I say your not missing much. Deep Throat is perhaps the most famous porn film of all time. It is certainly a good movie, but certainly not one of the best. It isn't in the same class as films such as The Opening of Misty Beethoven or The Devil In Miss Jones. I found the soundtrack to the movie, which was original music, to be quite fitting and to give the movie a nice feeling. The title track especially is a catchy tune, "don't row a boat, don't get your goat, that's all she wrote, deep throat" it does stick in your head. The plot to the movie what there is of one is that Linda Lovelace isn't enjoying sex as much as she'd like, so she and her friend throw an orgy, this doesn't get Linda's bell's ringing though so Linda's friend talks Linda into seeing a Doctor played by Harry Reems. He discovers that her clitoris is in her throat, and encourages her to learn the art of deep throat starting right there with him. This really gets her bells ringing. [read the full review]

Or Cyrano de Bergerac give Georgina Spelvin the first orgasm in hell with his nose? The film opens with an erotic yet humorous seduction. Georgina Spelvin (Justine Jones), ever the siren, crawls toward Cyrano (whose nose is conveniently shaped like a penis) begging to mount him. As she writhes her way to ultimate pleasure Hells orgasm alert starts blaring (the no orgasm in hell rule has just been officiated.) Miss Jones is pulled off Cyranos face and dragged through the erotic bowels of Hell to meet with the man himself, Satan. [read the full review]

The road to Hell may be paved with good intentions, but it's an all-out, freak-filled fuck-fest once you get there, at least that's if the diabolical director of the dirty, Greg Dark, is to be believed. Such is the case in his two-part classic series from 1986 and VCA, "The Devil in Miss Jones 3 and 4", that finds the gorgeous, blonde punk porner and AVN Hall-of-Famer, Lois Ayres (as the seemingly timid and troubled "Justine Jones"), slamming her head into the wall whilst out revenge-fucking and then ending up in the perverted pits of Hell. review from 1/2/2008:
To my surprise and delight, DMJ 3 and DMJ 4 are in fact one film. While titled as sequels to Damiano's 1973 masterpiece, DMJ 3 /4 is closer to a remake, or even more appropriately, a re-telling of Damiano's tale. In fact, besides the name of the heroine and the film itself, as well as the basic premise of a woman dying and ending up in Hell, this film has no similarities to either of the earlier two entries in the series. VCA has collected Devil in Miss Jones 3: A New Beginning and Devil in Miss Jones 4: The Final Outrage together for this set which makes sense since the two films are actually one film split in half. Gregory Dark's set of two films is very different than Gerard Damiano's original film and are very much a product of the 80s in their visual stylings. The two films are well done and definately worth seeing. VCA has done a good job with their release of the two films on this set with good video despite lacking extras. [read the full review]

review from 3/4/2000:
Tiffany Minx tells a story about what happened to her at Dresden. Her first lesson is about bondage, as she is chained to a wall. Next, she gets a lesson in obedience under Rebecca Lord's confident hand. Ernest Green teaches Tiffany about body modifcation, and finally she learns how to endure pain. Tiffany is excellent in this video, and her performance distinguishes this as an above-average bondage video. She has a perfect blend of shyness and eagerness, and those little sounds she makes are delicious. Personally, I prefer bondage scenes with a sub that's clearing enjoying herself, and Tiffany does a great job convincing me that she knows how to get into a fun head space. The doms are all competent; the only one that is exceptionally attractive, however, is Rebecca Lord, and her scene with Tiffany stands out. The A/V quality is only average for a bondage video, which isn' saying much. [read the full review]

Starring: Jessie St.James, Desiree Cousteau, Georgina Spelvin, Richard Pacheco, Mike Horner Directed By: Anthony Spinelli Wistfully conjuring daydreams and calling them goals, some often say that before they die they'd like to travel the world, or finally read the complete works of Shakespeare. To those people, let me say this: Everything worth seeing in Europe is on top of a hill, and the important characters in Shakespeare all die. Actually, I don't recall anyone dying in A Midsummer Night's Dream, but that's beside the point. What I'm getting at is that these lofty goals are frequently not worth pursuing. Europe is exhausting and Shakespeare is sad. Instead, may I recommend you turn your cultural attentions to classic porn? Nobody gets stabbed with a poisoned sword and everyone gets laid. And sometimes, they have funny haircuts. One of the best, and most overlooked among the "good ol' day" roster of porn titles is Easy. [read the full review]

review from 6/15/2000:
"Easy" is a Golden Classic release by NuTech of a movie first released on film in 1979. The first thing that piqued my interest about this title was the prominent placement on the case saying all sex scenes are multiple angle. I was interested in where they found the extra footage and hoped this would be explained in the commentary. When the alternate angle icon showed up on the screen, I switched angles, to find that the "multiple angle" was merely the film reversed. There is no extra footage, and reversing the film has an interesting side effect, the lips don't match the voice. Throughout the rest of the movie, the angle icon becomes a constant reminder of the wool the studio tried to pull over the eyes of the viewers.Getting more into the action of the movie, this seems typical of 1970s porn and reminds me of Insatiable, another classic movie. Considering this is a film transfer, the video is surprisingly clear with good color reproduction. There are some visable flaws, but this look to be from the original film media, and not a side effect of being transfered. [read the full review]

review from 5/9/2000:
You know that when you have a classic on your hands youre going to see things you dont see in todays porn. Easy is all about what you wont see in the modern age of porn: a student who grabs his teacher after class and makes her lick his cum covered dick; a 17 yr old boy who breaks into teachers house and turns her on at knifepoint; a woman tongue fucking a guys ass; a catfight which results in one woman raping/seducing the other; full-body camera shots, kissing, foreplay, lots of bush, and tube socks. Exited yet? Well, you should be cause Easy is one of the most arousing flicks on DVD.Filmed in 1979, Easy was Jesie St. James first starring role. I wouldnt have known that if not for the Jim Holliday/ Jill Kelly commentary. Jesie appears the professional in every way. The plot is basically a few years in the life of a schoolteacher turned slut. [read the full review]

review from 10/23/2004:
This was shot on location in Hawaii and features dozens of exterior shots of the island, as well as a sailboat, a helicopter, some scuba footage, an Aloha airliner, etc. The "Double Indemnity"/"Body Heat" style plot far exceeds any plot you'll see in today's porn. On the downside, this is 24 year-old footage, and it shows. The DVD transfer was pretty good, but the film itself is damaged and peppered with scratches and white spots. Moreover, the women doing porn in the late 1970's were pretty homely by today's standards, but Leslie Bovee is a very handsome woman and exudes an earthy sensuality. On the extras side, there is a full motion chapter-stops menu. The multi-angle gimmick is a complete waste of time, because most of the extra angles are just mirror images. The commentary track is the king of all DVD extras, but none of the people associated with this project are still around and willing to participate. Holmes passed away in 1988, and Leslie Bovee has been out of the business for twenty years. [read the full review]

review from 12/8/1999:
Eruption, a 1978 film starring Holmes and Leslie Bovee, shot on location in Hawaii, is the perfect example of Holmes the actor (instead of just Holmes the big, wonderful cock.) As with other classic porno, Eruption had a complete plot intermingled with hot sex. The story was very Magnum PI-like, and not just because it was filmed in Hawaii. Holmes plays an insurance sales guy who helps Bovee kill her husband to collect on a life insurance policy. The movie has plot twists and exciting moments that don't involve sex (seriously.)You get to watch the Holmes' penis rise to the occasion over and over again -these are captivating moments -getting this man hard is a slow, sensual process.
