Forever Night (VCA) Review

Review:
Cast into "Forever Night" when he curses God upon the deaths of his young wife and unborn child, Jamie Gillis finds himself in a state of eternal, sexual torture. Haunted by visions of unwanted debauchery and doomed with neither end nor escape, he must "live" through one lustful sequence after another. Such is the case in this overall-good, 1998 release from VCA and director Michael Ninn. Featuring an all-star cast (Stacy Valentine, Jeanna Fine, Jill Kelly, etc.) and exquisite costuming, sets, effects, and makeup...all coupled with a dark theme and Gillis's expert narration...and it's no wonder that this film made a splash back when it was released. While there are certainly more modern productions that outshine this one in the technical areas, it still holds its own nicely, even all of these years later.

In terms of the sex, Scene One finds the beautiful blonde star of the film and then-VCA contract girl, Stacy Valentine, ravaged and ultimately double-penetrated (DP'd) by a pair of macabre-masked, dark-robed gentlemen...all whilst Jamie Gillis suffers in torment. Ms. Valentine takes a double facial in capping off this pernicious pounding.

In Scene Two, the punk-haired temptress, Jeanna Fine, worships a masked and cloaked Valentino on a stark background. Ms. Fine is looking fine in her red, latex skirt, and it isn't long before she and the dark figure are doing the whole fuck and suck thing. He doles out a strong sexing and finishes on her face and mouth.

Scene Three finds the French tart and original gape queen, Liza Harper, going all Victorian (complete with the gaudy wig) with Peter Romero and in front of Jamie Gillis in another of Jamie's torturous visions. True to form, she winds up with the cock in her pooper before she takes a load on the face.

In Scene Four, Stacy Valentine--following some masturbation--is offered up to the dikey duo of Ashley Renee and Raylene for some Sapphic sex. Of course, this being an approximation of Hell, Ashley and Raylene end up double-penetrating the soft Valentine's body with a pair of greased-up vibrators. Stacy returns the favor by aiding the two ladies in their mutual sharing of a purple, double-headed dildo (vaginally) and then a lengthy, bulbed toy (anally).

Scene Five has a be-wigged Jill Kelly servicing the demon lord, Eric Price, in his lair. The young blonde is in her prime here, looking great, especially as Price inserts a glowing electric wand into her and then takes her outright. She sucks and fucks him (vaginally and anally) and also rides a hefty dildo attached to a black, leather box. The pair makes good use of a sex swing in doing the deed, and Ms. Kelly eventually jerks him to a spurting load on her face and in her mouth (oral cock clean-off). This, and the final scene, are the best sequences on the disc.

In Scene Six, Jamie Gillis and Jeanna Fine sternly coach and mildly degrade the blonde Brooke Lane and her lover Earl Slate, as the pair get it on upon a large, wooden table in front of a stained glass window. Jamie and Jeanna interact with the two when they're not peering in with judgment, and the oral and vaginal affair that unfolds ultimately caps off with Brooke's tummy and pelvis covered in man cream...which she then smears in...followed by a cut, further fucking, and a smaller facial.

Scene Seven finds the stunning Stacy Valentine, her hair tied back and wearing a sleek, one-piece bathing suit, lying next to a misty indoor pool. From the bubbling, turbulent water, John Decker emerges and takes her...all as Jamie Gillis and Jeanna Fine watch in silence. The pair transitions through a variety of positions, and the action--vaginal and anal--that ensues is scorching. A load to Stacy's shoulder, chin, and mouth finish off this fine fuck. Hot!

Bonus-wise, there's a "Photo Gallery", a few trailers, some info about the cast, and a brief audio interview with Stacy Valentine.

In all, this is a good flick that's strong on the costuming, sets, makeup, etc. (...particularly given the era from which it came...) and also features some fine fucking and a dark plot. Fans of Stacy Valentine must check this one out, as it's arguably her best known film and she gets pretty down and dirty, and those who enjoy a more sinister bent on their sex will likely enjoy it, as well.
