What is the Masterpiece Collection?
I suppose it is my personal pornography Hall of Fame. It is only for those select films that I consider to be at the very pinnacle of the industry. This is an honor reserved only for films that I believe will stand the test of time.

Overall Impression
This film blew me away! Michael Ninn is probably the most acclaimed director in adult film, and you will understand why after viewing this DVD. The overall quality in every aspect of what makes an entertaining and arousing piece of pornography is astounding. The production values in this project rival the great Andrew Blake, but Ninn uses his cinematic skills to bring some truly hardcore sex to screen. Blake is like "Playboy" magazine and Ninn is like "Penthouse" magazine. The outfits, sets, make-up, lighting, and overall cinematography, are all so absolutely top notch. I guess what I am trying to say is this film looks GOOD.

The cast Ninn has assembled for this feature is very impressive, and includes three legendary performers. It is my belief that Stacy Valentine, Jill Kelly, and Jeanna Fine will all be remembered amongst the greatest pornstars of all time. These women deliver some veteran performances in front of the masterful lens of Ninn.

Plot
I guess technically the plot has something to do with Gills character being damed to eternal darkness. Although there does seem to be a gothic theme that runs throughout most of the film. The film also sets itself in different time periods, and locations like Victorian mansions, foggy graveyards, and contemporary architecture. What little plot that does exist is moved along by a Gills voice over inbetween scenes.

Scene 1 Stacy Valentine
This scene has Stacy taking on two masked men, and is intercut with scenes of her masturbating. Stacy looks stunning in this scene decked out in victorian garb with pearls running through her highly styled hair. First she blows these two cloaked men, until we find her on all fours getting it doggie style. Next we see her in a nice DP, quickly followed by two great facial pop shots. I can not stress enough how artfully and beautifully this scene is shot. Aprox 10min

Scene 2 Jeanna Fine
Here we have the living legend Jeanna Fine. I realize that Mrs. Fine may not do it for everyone these days, but I find that this cougar is still one of the best performers in the industry. She still has a serious hardbody after all these years, and is as nasty as any young starlet. That said I enjoyed this scene very much. Fine is wearing a strange wig and is wearing some unusual make-up, while dressed in a very tight red vinyl dress and thigh high black boots. Once again the we see a guy in strange headdress. Fine puts her considerable oral skills to work and gives her man a serious BJ. There is a very unique kissing sequence that you will not often see, Jeanna is sucking back and forth on this guy's tongue and occasionally using herteeth to clamp down on the end of it. Great stuff! Next we find her in the being very vocal, as she is being fucked doggie style, while still wearing her sexy red dress. Eventually we lose the dress, and we see her bent over a couch as he continues to give it to her from behind. The scene ends with another facial. Surprisingly this is not an anal performance from Mrs. Fine but still an impressive scene. I just hope people appreciate the sexual confidence of her performance. Aprox 11min

Scene 3 Liza Harper
We see relative unknown Liza Harper looking like she just walked out of the 18th century. This one on one scene starts of with a BJ of course, after a short while Liza gets to enjoy some oral pleasure. We then move on to reverse cowgirl. Harper gives us a nice anal performance here and takes it in a number of positions, until finally the scene ends once again with a nice facial. Aprox 9min

Scene 4 Raylene, Ashely Renee, & Syacy Valentine
The talented & perhaps under used Raylene goes at it with Stacy and Ashely Renee in this all girl scene. A very solid scene, the girls look good and seem to enjoy the dildo play. There is a nice ass to ass bit with Raylene and Ashely. Aprox 8min

Scene 5 Jill Kelly
This is a fantastic scene staring Jill Kelly, may be the best scene of the film. She looks her best in this weird scene in which she gets it on with a devil. This scene starts of with some interesting penetration with some sort of luminous glass dildo. Jill gives this devil one of her trademark wet, saliva dripping blowjobs. Eventually we find Jill on a swing where she takes it in doggie as well as missionary. She does a nice job here with the dirty talk and flashes some wicked glances at the camera. Next Kelly gives one hell of an anal performance, culminating in a facial pop shot. I am a big fan of Jill's and I feel that this is one of her very best scenes, and this girl has been in a whole lot of sex scenes. Aprox 10min

Scene 6 Brooke Lane
Brooke Lane stars in this interesting and very verbal scene. Gills and Fine take turns barking out sexual instructions throughout the scene controlling the actions of the performers. Lane is superb in this original scene. This one on one scene begins with oral for both performers. We then get to see Brooke in several positions, doggie, missionary, and reverse cowgirl. We also get two cum shots, the first is a healthy load that she spreads on her naval, the other is a fairly week facial. Aprox 12min

Scene 6 Stacey Valentine
Stacy stars in this classic one on one scene. The scene starts with a Valentine laying down poolside, as her lover rises like a ghost from the swirling steam of the pool. Some of the angles Ninn finds of Stacy are shot so well, and show of her voluptuous form incredibly. Her performance is blisteringly hot. After a little anal action Stacy takes a facial to end the scene. This is one of her best performances. Aprox 10min

Final Thoughts
This film really is a masterpiece, and is one of Ninn's darkest films. One of the reasons this movie got to me so much is because of Ninn's tendency to film so much of his sex scenes with the girls gazing into the camera, especially during blowjobs. Some of the looks he captures from his female cast in this one are so piercing at times its haunting. He does this in almost all of his films, but with superior effect in this one. The supporting soundtrack is also quite good and supports the individual scenes quite well. The imagery in this film, coupled with the incredible sense of composition used throughout this film should ensure a long long life for this work of art.
