Amber Lynn is an unrepentant, cock-sucking, dick-riding nymphomaniac so out of control that nothing--nothing but true love, that is--can stop her from fucking a streak of havoc through half of the town. Such is the case in "Crocodile Blondee", an overall-good, 1986 release from Edwin Durrell and VCX. [read the full review]

Everyone's in for a swinging good time when the hot-to-trot Serena and her hubby, Mike Ranger, throw a Spanish-fly-infused wedding party for the newly-minted couple, Ray and Eileen Wells, in "A Taste of Sugar". An overall-good, 1978 release from director Kirdy Stevens and VCX, this fine, Golden Age film effectively offers up two massive orgies that, together, span the vast majority of the film's ~80 minutes and feature not only a plethora of steamy moments but, as an interesting rarity, a number of post-cum reinsertions, as well. If you've seen it before, you know Coed Fever is one of the must own classics. If you haven't and you are a fan of the classics, this is one to pick up now. The movie has been given horrible treatment on the disc by Caballero, as per their norm, but for it's age, it isn't too bad if you can forgive the horrible disc mastering. The disc is hard to find but is well worth seeking out and well worth the purchase price. [read the full review]

Maraschino Cherry review summaries:

"Maraschino Cherry" is an interesting release from 1978, Radley Metzger, and Video-X-Pix that, once again, appears that I'm going to be the only one who really likes it. That's not to say that it isn't without its flaws, of course. Indeed, this film--to a large degree--comes off as "trying too hard" to replicate the type of nonchalant, sexual action/attitude that pervades films like "Barbara Broadcast" and so on. Still, in many ways, it's enjoyable and sexy...enough so that I found it a worthy purchase. [read the full review]

Don't be fooled by the fact that this was directed by Radley Metzger, who directed such acknowledged classics as The Opening of Misty Beethoven. This film just doesn't come close to the level of Misty Beethoven, or Metzger's other efforts. The DVD was transfered from an extremely distressed print of the movie. This thing is simply terrible to look at, and there is little eroticism, despite the presence of the superstars of the era, including Leslie Bovee, Gloria Leonard, Constance Money, and Annette Haven. For example, Constance Money's scene consists only of a short handjob. About the only thing that saves this film from being a complete waste is the nasty, kinky S&M scene with C.J. Lang. NOTE: This is not your typical review. Others have done an excellent job reviewing the content, scenes, performances, etc. of this porn classic. This "review" concerns itself with how the DVD's contents compare with the complete, uncut original release version of the film or an early (before prior self-censorship) VHS version. The Ratings given refer either to the "original" version of the film (Performers, Plot, Sex, etc.) or to the DVD version (Extras, Value, etc.) and are relatively arbitrary. The important info is that which follows. MARASCHINO CHERRY DVD IS THE PITS! Radley Metzgers last hardcore effort under his Henry Paris nom-de-film is finally available on DVD from Video-X-Pix. Well, they saved the worst for last and by that, I dont mean from a content standpoint! While Maraschino Cherry is generally regarded as the weakest of that group of films, even Metzgers weakest efforts far outstrip those of most of his porn peers and successors, IM (and many others) HO. She's So Fine (VCA) review summaries:

Overview Henri Pachard has mad some classic stuff, Budding of Brie, Jailhouse Girls, etc, etc. So does this slice of Golden Age pie taste sweet, or sour ? What I Liked Kinda cool seeing old faves like Rachel Ashley, Taija Rae, and Sharon Mitchell in their prime suckin' and fuckin'. As a lover of full bush ( yum ) , gotta say I dug full coochie rug look sported here. What I Disliked Well, the whole plot of mayhem ensuing on the day of a wedding rehersal, with new wave band guests appearing, and the groom disappearing was just way too silly. The sex was pretty tame, and quick. Anal ? Not here . Facials and big loads period, nah uh. So we have a bizarre plot, weak ass sex. Shit. DVD Quality Transfer of an oldie, you'd figure its not quite modern quality, and you'd be correct. Not grainy and splotchy though, just ok. Extras ? Ha ha ha. Overall Thoughts Not the best golden age flick, no, not by a long ass mile. [read the full review]

Year: 1974 Length: 73 minutes approximately MEMORIES WITHIN MISS AGGIE from 1974 by porn director legend Gerard Damiano is a true classic, that is given a truly terrible dvd transfer. Although advertised as available from Arrow dvd by Excalibur films, this is in fact a transfer they themselves have done of the film from an old Arrow vhs of the film. The transfer is horrible and that is the only thing that keeps me from giving this film a perfect rating. This movie is one of the best porn films I've seen, and it holds it's own as a film story wise also, which is important as this one aims to be a feature. The story behind this film is that Miss Aggie is a slightly crazy middle aged woman, who imagines the ways she met her current companion and she has flashbacks imagining herself as a young woman having sex with him as a young man. The first scene is between Eric Edwards and Kim Pope and it's pretty good, they are both very innocent in this scene. It's strange to see Eric Edwards so young looking as he was in this film. Story of Joanna, The (Alpha Blue) review summaries:
fu_q's
A young, aristocratic woman, played by Terri Hall, falls headfirst into Jamie Gillis' dark and ultimately deadly web when she has a chance encounter with the harsh, unfeeling millionaire one fateful evening. Indeed, from the moment of their initial meeting at an establishment of fine-dining, Hall finds herself entranced and enveloped by Gillis' austere and mysterious demeanor, and the dark, sinuous path upon which the two set forth turns not only sinisterly sexual but dangerously controlling, as well. How it all will turn out for the pair is anybody's guess, but the outcome certainly looks ominous...at best. Such is the case in "The Story of Joanna", an acclaimed Golden Age release from director Gerard Damiano and the Alpha Blue Archives. [read the full review]

Tis a shame that great film like this are treated like dirt by the companies that release them. Gerard Damiano's powerful and majestically shot masterpiece inspired by the great French Novel "The Story Of O" is one of the finest hardcore films EVER made by one of the genre's finest directors. Jamie Gillis is Jason, a wealthy socialite who discovers he is dying of a rare (although unnamed) desease. He thus "adopts" a young woman, Joanna (Teri Hall) to keep him company during his final days. She however is unaware of his ailments. Their relationship quickly turns from one of short term lovers to a violent bondage filled endurance test for poor Joanna who is tormented in just about every way possible. Slowly, as their profane relationship continues to develop, Jason becomes weaker and weaker due to his mysterious ailment while Joanna grows stronger and stronger through her torments... Damiano's great strengths as a director are present in every aspect of this masterpiece. [read the full review]

Terri Hall......as Joanna Jamie Gillis....as Jason Zebedy Colt.....as Griffin Juliet Graham...as Gina "The Story of Joanna" from 1975 has the most highly developed storyline of any porn film I have seen. I don't want to give to much of it away, but it involves Jamie Gillis being a millionaire who picks up this woman and sets about degrading her for a special purpose he has for her later in the movie. The degredation of her though is very central to the plot of the movie and after what I had read of how this was one of the rougher movies of the 70's I was surprised by how tame it was. The acting in this movie is top notch, I have not seen a porn film with acting equal to this one. The music is excellent and the sets are beautiful. The audio and video on the dvd for this movie are not that good though, about equal to some of the classics VCX puts out on dvd. [read the full review]

Ribald Tales Of Canterbury, The (Caballero) review summaries:
Mister_Joshua's
Synopsis Being a history buff and a porn fiend can be tough sometimes, but The Ribald Tales of Canterbury made it a little fun. I've recently spent some time re-exploring my mis-spent youth, and this is my first review. The Tales is essentially the stories a bunch of travelers tell each other on their way to Canterbury. See Geoffrey Chaucer for more details. There is a bunch of horse riding with recounts (and sex scenes) sprinkled throughout. The Cast There are some ugly motherfuckers up in here, but I feel the women more than make up for it. The Lord of Bath (Bud Lee) is homely, but the Queen (Josephine Carrington) is very fine. Hyapatia is the lead for this flick, and she has 3 really nice scenes, but she wasn't the stand out for my stand out. One thing that I found interesting was the averageness of the women, and I don't mean that in a bad way. For instance Cheri Janvier is an attractive woman, but her proportions are all wrong for porn. Big thighs and butt, with small titties. [read the full review]

Gerard Damiano once again exhibits his flair for the dramatic in "Odyssey", a very good, 1977 release from the legendary Golden Age director and VCX / Alpha Blue Archives. Georgina Spelvin's husband's decision to leave her for a younger woman and to sell their home, coupled with a daughter who has run away and is nowhere to be found, sends her headlong into a journey of self-discovery that begins with nostalgia but quickly devolves into a darker sexuality. Hot and Saucy Pizza Girls is a fun adult film that doesn't have much plot but makes up for that with hot sex and humor. 800 Fantasy Lane (VCX) review summaries:
fu_q's
When two gas station attendants, Jamie Gillis and Bud Wise, read an article about Hollywood starlets who are supplementing their incomes in the real estate business by treating high-end clients to the times of their lives, they both know that they have to get in on the deal. Of course, this means pretending to be wealthy, oil tycoons who have struck it rich and are looking to score some property from the ladies. And, to be fair, the pair does, indeed, eventually strike it rich--but in pussy, not crude--and they do score quite frequently, as well--just not in picking up property. Such is the case in "800 Fantasy Lane", a very good, 1979 release from VCX and Svetlana. [read the full review]

Armand Weston was one of the finest directors ever to make hardcore films. Although he usually crafted dark and depressing tales, this 1978 film was his foray into comedy. With a fantastic cast of regulars, and Leslie Bovee as the female lead, Weston crafted a wonderful, skilfully acted, sumptuously shot, and cleverly written parody of films of American culture from the 30s to the 60s. This 1978 feature directed by "Armand Weston" is a good example of "golden age" adult filmmaking. The plot is a take off on the Oscar Wilde story, "The Picture of Dorian Grey." The protagonist's name has been changed from Dorian Grey to "Darrin Blue," (played amazingly by Wade Nichols). And instead of a painting, his youthful image is captured on a porn film that his liberated 1920's flapper girlfriend (Georgina Spelvin) secretly had made of them making love outdoors. When she shows it to him later, he wishes that the image on the film could get old, and that he could stay youthful forever. You might have guessed that that is exactly what happens. The 1930s have Wade Nichols doing a remarkable imitation of James Cagney, during the 1940s, he's doing Humphrey Bogart (and Annette Haven). During the 50s, he's doing James Dean and making love on his motocycle. During the 1960s, still as youthful as ever, he is, you guessed it, a hippie doing drugs and having an orgy. Since this was shot in the 1970s, that brings us up to the present. [read the full review]

Joe Shaver's
This film is one of the true classics of the pre-condom era. Ironically, in spite of the title, it begins with a French exchange student (Jacques Chalon) arriving at L. A International airport to begin classes at UCLA. Jacques roommate is blond John Jefferies, a twink that is so sweet just looking at him requires an insulin injection. He tells Jacques that there is something about himself that he cant discuss. We know what that is when we see John in a sensational scene with his lover Lyle Williams. The first sex in the film however is a nice jack off from Jacques. Just the thing to calm down after his trip. Or maybe it was seeing John naked as he was changing to go out. Jacques was certainly ogling those pretty buns. But Jacques soon encounters Lee Ryder and Bob Wade who after getting him high on drugs introduce him to man-to-man sex. (Imagineintroducing a Frenchman to a ménage a trois.) Lee Ryder was a handsome and incredible performer with an enormous endowment. (He is the star of Falcons HUGE. That is no exaggeration.) Wade has a nicely haired torso. [read the full review]

Modeling Studio, The review summaries:

Judging a porn film by its box cover or its title is rarely a good idea, but we all do it, of course. So...when I saw Michael Cates' "The Modeling Studio" from Collector's Video (1984) as a choice on AdultEmpire.com's Unlimited service, I was initially less than enthused about it. Indeed, its box cover is subpar and unexciting, and its title is as banal as banal can be. That, however, is pretty much where any of the complaints stop. To be sure, this film's cast, which relies heavily upon the erotic talents of a young Ginger Lynn (Oh my!) and the uber-sexual Erica Boyer (RIP)--with assists from the likes of Heather Wayne and Roxanne Rollan along the way--is impeccable, as is its heat...which builds from the beginning and never looks back. Irresistible (TVX) review summaries:
Flash's
Irresistible is a fun film from the early 80s that never takes itself to seriously. The story is cheesy and some of the props are lacking, but the film makes for a fun watch. Unfortunately, this version from VCX has been heavily cut, for seemingly no good reason, which has removed part of the story from the film and most of the point behind it. If you've never seen the film, you probably won't notice the edits, but if you have, you're sure to notice something is missing. The transfer isn't the best, but it's better than many other releases from VCX. If you are a fan of the classics and don't mind having an edited version of the film, this disc is worth picking up, but I'd wait for it to be on sale. [read the full review]

A weekend camping trip in Hawaii for a pair of couples, Ginger Lynn & Ron Jeremy and Stacey Donovan & Jamie Gillis, quickly devolves into the ultimate sexual fantasy when they discover that they've "stumbled upon" a private set of sex games that are taking place upon the island. Of course, this works out perfectly for the guys...and for Ginger...and the only real holdout ends up being the less secure, and more prudish, Stacey. Indeed, the question as to whether she'll eventually succumb and partake in the perverse proceedings remains unanswered until the final scene of the film. Such is the case in "A Little Bit of Hanky Panky", a very good, 1984 release from Collector's Video and Svetlana. [read the full review]

All isn't right in suburbia, as the children of a well-off family headed by Paul Thomas and Gloria Leonard intermingle with the offspring of one of their poorer workers, R. Bolla. Indeed, the various inter-family relationships start out fairly typically, though still seedy and sexual in nature, but quickly spin and tangle into a wicked web of deceit and perversion as more and more secrets are uncovered. At the center of it all is the diabolical, black-tressed instigator, Raven, Gloria's and Paul's clearly disturbed 18-year-old daughter. Such is the case in "Taboo American-Style 1", an exceptional, 1985, incest-themed release from Henri Pachard and Fat Dog Productions. [read the full review]

Racquel in Paradise VCA Classic, Feature Starring: Racquel Darrian, Rayne Kayne, Tiara West, Hot Cinnamon, Trixy Tyler, Derrick Lane, John Dough, Buster Cheri, Biff Malibu. Running Time:Feature: 83 minutes, Total: 91 minutes Rating:4.43/10 FEATURE: This film has its good points, these include Racquel Darrian and the woman in the last scene. The film also has its bad points, these include everything else, the editing, audio, video, lighting etc. The "plot" is nonexistent, it is below filler, it has crossed the line into actually killing brain cells. If you don't start the movie immediately it starts on its own, I have never liked this. The movie begins with Racquel dancing to butt rock in a club. She is wearing leather hot pants and top. Then all of a sudden she is wearing something else, this happens about ten times. I believe you call this a Racquel Darrian strip dance montage. Are her breasts fake? If anyone knows please email me. She doesn't look as hot as usual in most of this film. The dancing is followed by Racquel on the beach scenes. [read the full review]

Running Time: 82 min. Production Date: 1991 Director: Derrick Lane and Mickey Ray Cast: Racquel Darrian, Hot Cinnamon, Rayne, Tiara, Trixie Tyler, Derrick Lane, Jon Dough, Buster Cheri, and Biff Malibu Initial Expectations: I think I remember seeing this movie when I was first able to legally watch porn. Its not giving me good expectations. Initial Reaction: Im thrilled that Racquel is in paradise, but I wish she wouldnt have put the rest of us through this living Hell! Who Should Watch It : Prison inmates Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who can possibly do something else, like giving Saddam Hussein and his camel a full body sponge bath with their tongue Audio /Video Quality: Almost everything about the technical aspects leaves much to be desired. The audio is poorly balanced, and has a bunch of feedback-like crap that should make your neighbors dogs wince in pain. The video is just as bad, and shows the beaches in the movie what grain really is. If thats not enough, theres plenty of shadows throughout the movie. [read the full review]

Taboo 7, which is really 1980's A Woman's Dream by Peter Perry, Jr., redecorated with a new title and new cheaply made computer generated beginning and end credits with a brief new opening narration with Randy West by Richard Mailer. Shameless New Machine Feature, European Starring:Anita Dark, Stefania Sartori, Maria Ratti, Phillipe Soine, and Andrea Nobil Directed By:? Running Time:Feature: 77 minutes, Total: 83 minutes RATING: 4.69/10 FEATURE This is a foreign feature with only three scenes. The movie was made in 1996 so the video isn't great and neither is the audio. The women are all attractive but sometimes their performances are a little lacklustre. The scenes are all long, averaging over twenty minutes each, which I like. I wouldn't buy this unless you love these women though because I'm sure there are better DVDs out there where the women did a better job. SCENE 1: Anita Dark, Maria Ratti The scene starts with what I think is Italian commentary over a photoshoot in which Anita and a guy are the models and Maria is the photographer. There is a crazy looking dog on a dresser and it just stays there throughout the scene. Anita is wearing a black, see-through body suit top and black stockings. [read the full review]

Little Orphan Dusty (TVX) review summaries:
Fred's
With all the talk about rape scenes being taboo now in porn, it's interesting to note that "Little Orphan Dusty" (from the 1970's) is still available, with at least three flat-out rape scenes. The movie, in fact, begins with a major rape scene. Dusty (the actress is a dead-ringer for Farrah Fawcett back when she was on "Charlie's Angels") is walking down the road, when a group of Hells Angels types on motorcycles pull up to her. She seems happy to see them at first, but when one of them pulls at her blouse, she gets the idea that they're not very nice guys and makes a run for it. The bikers chase her through the woods, whooping it up, and eventually corner her in a clearing. Dusty is laid out on top of one of the motorbikes, while a group of bikers hold down her arms and legs (and a lone female biker watches from a distance). The leader of the gang takes out a knife and cuts off her panties, then the others rip off all of her clothes (while she screams "No! No!" to no avail), leaving her nude (and virtually spread-eagle) atop the bike. [read the full review]

It spells serious trouble for a swinger mother (Leila Harris) and step-father (David Fine) when Leila's ex (Guy Thomas) reenters the picture and threatens to take custody of their barely-legal daughter (Kecia Kane). Complicating matters is the fact that their lifestyle has bled over into their family life and has even led to Kecia's involvement in some of the fun. Whether Kecia will ultimately get to stay in her happy (...albeit horny...) home, or whether she'll be ripped away from all that she knows and loves (...perhaps too much...) remains the question of the day. Such is the case in "Like Mother, Like Daughter", a decent, 1973 release from VCX and director Ernest Danna. [read the full review]

Things go from bad to worse for a young woman--the blonde stunner of porno yesteryear, Jean Jennings--when she's committed by her parents to an insane asylum upon being discovered doing drugs with a friend. After finding nothing but rape and torment in the loony bin (...driving her to near insanity in and of itself...), she ultimately winds up in the clutches of a sick, sexual cult run by an evil, perverted "doctor". Clearly, her situation fails to improve, and whether she'll eventually escape--or whether she'll even want to--remains anyone's guess, as the brainwashing and "awakening" proceed. Such is the case in "Defiance of Good", a very good, plot-driven, mid-1970s flick from Armand Weston and VCX. [read the full review]

Defiance (or Defiance of Good) is a dark, relatively unknown, horror-tinged movie from 1974. The central character is Cathy (Jean Jennings), a teenage girl who, after being discovered with drugs, is sent by her parents for psychiatric observation. However, the hospital she attends is a hellhole where she is harassed and raped by her fellow inmates so, when the opportunity to move to another clinic presents itself, she jumps at it. Unfortunately she soon comes to realise that her new doctor, played by a very hirsute Fred Lincoln, is actually closer to a brutal cult leader than a traditional medical practitioner. The film has quite a dark tone and (arguably) some philosophical under-currents but its neither as shocking as Through The Looking Glass or as thought-provoking as The Devil In Miss Jones. Defiance covers some rich narrative ground - bringing to mind One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, The Story of O and the Manson Family but never quite manages to be as interesting as it should be. There are a couple of nice directorial flourishes but somehow its all rather pedestrian. [read the full review]

Length: 71:50 Year: 1974 DEFIANCE! aka DEFIANCE OF GOOD as it says on the print used on this dvd is a film from 1974 and I went into this film not knowing much about it, excep having read a brief outline of the film and it sounded interesting. The outline to this story is that Cathy (Jean Jennings) a young girl is caught using drugs by her mother and her parents decide that it is best for her to go to a psychiatric hospital for a short period of observation. This hospital is a hell hole and all manner of strange men and women approach her in this place. She is raped by patients (one of whom is played by a very young Jamie Gillis) and the nurses and just when we think she may never get out of this place along comes a doctor who promises to get her out of this place. Fred Lincoln plays this doctor. He does an excellent job as this creepy doctor. He takes her out of this horrible hospital to his private clinic and submits her to his treatment which involves her being tied up and forced to have sex with other patients. [read the full review]

Return of Johnny Wadd, The (EVN) review summaries:
Flash's
The Return of Johnny Wadd is a low spot in the long running Johnny Wadd series. The absence of Bob Chinn as a director is noticed and John C. Holmes is looking rather ragged here. Fans of the Johnny Wadd series will probably want to pick this up to complete their collection and fans of some of the stars who don't mind tame sex will probably enjoy the film. If you are new to the Johnny Wadd films, I'd recommend trying some of the ones made by Freeway Films and Bob Chinn before looking at this one. [read the full review]

Good Girls Of Godiva High, The review summaries:
Rick L. Blalock's
The Good Girls of Godiva High opens up in the girls gymnasium when we are introduced to the loveliest set of young ladies any modern high school could produce. While scanning through an adult magazine and educating their minds, our young heroines discuss the possibility of changing their traditional Godiva High School dance to a more modern Disco Party. How to convince Miss Lena, the headmistress, played by Susan De Angelis is the girls' dilemma. That answer is provided by one of the boys who just happens to be her gardener. You will long remember the performances by Danielle and Daphne as they wear down super-stud Ian played by Bob Presley, owner of the fabulous Club 52, hottest disco in the city. [read the full review]

It's nearing the end of their time at the private, girls-only boarding school for the young (18+) ladies of Godiva High, and they all have their sights set single-mindedly on but one thing--going out with a bang...a disco dance bang, that is. While short on the cash and influence necessary to achieve their goal, the lasses do have one trusty trick up their sleeves (...or, should I say, in their panties...), and they aren't afraid to use it. Such is the case in "The Good Girls of Godiva High", an overall-good, 1979 release from VCX and director Jim Buckley. [read the full review]

I Like To Watch (Caballero) review summaries:

It seems like just about everyone is fucking everyone else, and those who aren't fucking are peeking in on those who are, in "I Like To Watch", a very good, 1982 release from Caballero and director Paul G. Vatelli. While a television fashion show that Pat Manning is putting on with the aid of her lovely, brunette assistant, Bridgette Monet, serves as the backdrop for this sexual escapade, it's truly its finely-captured and well-played erotic encounters that set it apart.
