Review:
Gerard Damiano once again exhibits his flair for the dramatic in "Odyssey", a very good, 1977 release from the legendary Golden Age director and VCX / Alpha Blue Archives. Featuring three short tales of tail in one release, this production is more of an aggregation of short adult films than it is one, single body of work. In the first segment, R. Bolla and Nancy Dare are a couple who are having serious marital problems (...of the sexual type...) when R.'s buddy suggests that he go to a trippy, local cathouse. The plot twists from there. In the second installment, a shrink discusses the various sexual proclivities of a handful of her female patients (Samantha Fox, Linda Maidstone, and Gloria Leonard) and their associated feelings with them. Of course, the pervy predilections play out upon the pornographic stage for the viewer to see. In the third sequence, the lovely Suzanne McBain finds her hopeful way to the big city to chase her dreams of stardom. Finding only sexual denigration and depravity, she grows more distant and ultimately succumbs to the colder, darker lifestyle of her new world...permanently. From all of this, it's clear that Damiano has strung together another winner with this one, both in terms of plot and erotic content. It has been noted in interviews that he always wanted to make "real" movies. In the various releases of his that I've encountered, it's clear that he succeeded. Bravo, sir. You achieved your goal.
In terms of the sex:
First Segment:
Scene One finds R. Bolla making his way through a cathouse at the recommendation of a friend. He ultimately stumbles upon Sharon Mitchell and Tony Mansfield getting it on in a gender reversal scenario. A moustached Mitch sucks Tony's drag-clad dick, then rides him, and then sucks him yet again. As this all goes on, Ellyn Grant blows David Morris to completion in her mouth with a quickie BJ (Scene Two). Mansfield finishes with Sharon by jerking himself off (oral cock clean-off).

In Scene Six, the leggy Gloria Leonard recounts a tale of lezzy lust with a customer of hers at the department store, the strawberry blonde Victoria Corsaut. The ensuing action is soft and sensual.
Third Segment:
In Scene Six, the slender and stunning Suzanne McBain finds herself in the midst of a leather-garbed, dreamtime orgy as she lies asleep in her otherwise-comfy bed. There, enjoying themselves are Vanessa Del Rio, C.J. Laing, Wade Nichols, Gilbert Palmitier, and Bobby Astyr. Of course, the lovely Suzanne jumps right in, sucking Wade's dick and partaking in a double-facial with C.J. She also aids Vanessa in taking care of Gilbert and Bobby.
