Flash's
review from 5/20/2016:
Farmer's Daughters is an adult film that does what Zebedy Colt did best. It pushes boundaries and tries to put as many twisted and demented scenes together as possible in its short run time. Farmer's Daughters won't be for all viewers and is especially not for ones that like tame films. Impulse Pictures has done a decent job with this release. The print is a bit beat up but the film is watchable. [read the full review]
Rick L. Blalock's
review from 4/29/2016:
An innocent afternoon of spying on their parents having sex (and then forcibly sexually assaulting the farm hand) turns even more vile for three daughters when escaped convicts pick their farm to hide from the cops! A horrifying, hardcore afternoon of assault, torture and incest follows as the convicts take advantage of the entire family, culminating in a shocking, perverted game of Simon Says and a weirdly mixed and edited final montage. This film is the very definition of hardcore, and one of the most eyebrow raising films in the Impulse Pictures library! [read the full review]

Erotic Dr. Jekyll, The review summaries:
Flash's
review from 4/16/2017:
The Erotic Dr. Jekyll is one of the many adult films that has come out that plays on the novella Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Lewis Stevenson. Despite the source work being perfect for transformation into the adult film world, The Erotic Dr. Jekyll does a very poor job with the story and the sex scenes, to areas of vital importance for a feature-style adult film. As a result, The Erotic Dr. Jekyll is unlikely to appeal to many viewers. Video-X-Pix has done a good job with their DVD release of The Erotic Dr. Jekyll. The video looks nice but the audio has some issues. Video-X-Pix has heavily skimped on the extras. [read the full review]

review from 12/16/2015:
It's all about raping, raping, and more raping when three escaped convicts happen upon Zebedy Colt's and Gloria Leonard's pervy little homestead in "Farmer's Daughters". A decent, 1975 release from Gourmet Video and Colt himself, this one is certainly heavy on the heavy-handed sex, and--from the best that I can tell--it seems that everyone except for Zebedy and Leonard ends up as a rapist by the time that all's said and done. review from 5/22/2018:
A young heiress, played by the blonde beauty, Catharine Burgess, finds herself becoming more and more despondent, as her sexual obsession with a possessed mirror in the attic of her childhood manor grows. Of course, the mirror itself serves as a conduit to Hell, and its demonic inhabitant, played deftly by the master thespian himself, Jamie Gillis, is intent on beckoning her to the other side, where it can both own her soul and her sexuality for eternity. In so doing, it takes on the form of Catharine's deceased father, for whom her feelings are "complicated", at best, and whether she will ultimately succumb to its erotic seductions or escape from its clutches and return to a normal (albeit boring) life becomes the question of the day. Such is the case in "Through the Looking Glass", an exceptional, 1976 release from Video-X-Pix and director Jonas Middleton. [read the full review]

review from 11/10/2004:
The Devil Inside Her is a dark and gritty film which probably won't appeal to most viewers. The female cast, as is common for the time, isn't the best to look at. The story is interesting, but the sex is unerotic. If you are into the classics and like a satanic theme, rough sex and non-consensual sex, you might want to rent the title. Otherwise, I'd recommend passing on this one. [read the full review]

review from 9/26/2015:
A trippy, sex-fueled journey to a bizarre land populated by dancing, singing (...and fucking...) denizens finds a young, repressed librarian, Kristine DeBell, reevaluating her priorities in life in "Alice in Wonderland". An overall-good, Golden Age release from Caballero and Bud Townsend, this 1976 production is certainly something of a curiosity. Indeed, it plays very much like a Broadway musical, complete with multiple song and dance numbers and original costuming throughout...but with sex. [read the full review]

review from 1/18/2017:
Between the appearance of an ever-ready, Elvis-like milkman (Sonny Landham) who sexually services the women of the neighborhood and a returning, free-spirited, 18 year-old-cousin (Jenny Baxter), life is certainly about to get a whole lot less mundane for a trio of young, suburban women. Such is the case for Crystal Sync and Marlene Willoughby, both sexually frustrated and prone to frequent masturbation, and their promiscuous friend, Nancy Dare, in "The Trouble with Young Stuff", an exceptional, 1976 release from VCX and director Joe Sarno. review from 4/9/2015:
Joe Sarno (here as Otis Hamlin) writes and directs THE TROUBLE WITH YOUNG STUFF (1976) as farm girl Alice Anne (Crystal Sync) takes in her younger cousin Matilda (Jenny Baxter) who disrupts the order between the two couples living in the apartment. Sarno has been down this road before creating terrific features (both hard and soft core) that use an oversexed female as the catalyst for most of the film's sexual activities. In this hardcore production, he mixes lesbian encounters with blowjob and some straight sex action as the out-of-work female characters carry on in their bedrooms with little time spent outside their apartment. 1 hour 36 minutes. Standard frame. [read the full review]

review from 9/6/2016:
"Maraschino Cherry" is an interesting release from 1978, Radley Metzger, and Video-X-Pix that, once again, appears that I'm going to be the only one who really likes it. That's not to say that it isn't without its flaws, of course. Indeed, this film--to a large degree--comes off as "trying too hard" to replicate the type of nonchalant, sexual action/attitude that pervades films like "Barbara Broadcast" and so on. Still, in many ways, it's enjoyable and sexy...enough so that I found it a worthy purchase. [read the full review]

review from 5/11/2006:
Don't be fooled by the fact that this was directed by Radley Metzger, who directed such acknowledged classics as The Opening of Misty Beethoven. This film just doesn't come close to the level of Misty Beethoven, or Metzger's other efforts. The DVD was transfered from an extremely distressed print of the movie. This thing is simply terrible to look at, and there is little eroticism, despite the presence of the superstars of the era, including Leslie Bovee, Gloria Leonard, Constance Money, and Annette Haven. For example, Constance Money's scene consists only of a short handjob. About the only thing that saves this film from being a complete waste is the nasty, kinky S&M scene with C.J. Lang. review from 12/17/2003:
NOTE: This is not your typical review. Others have done an excellent job reviewing the content, scenes, performances, etc. of this porn classic. This "review" concerns itself with how the DVD's contents compare with the complete, uncut original release version of the film or an early (before prior self-censorship) VHS version. The Ratings given refer either to the "original" version of the film (Performers, Plot, Sex, etc.) or to the DVD version (Extras, Value, etc.) and are relatively arbitrary. The important info is that which follows. MARASCHINO CHERRY DVD IS THE PITS! Radley Metzgers last hardcore effort under his Henry Paris nom-de-film is finally available on DVD from Video-X-Pix. Well, they saved the worst for last and by that, I dont mean from a content standpoint! While Maraschino Cherry is generally regarded as the weakest of that group of films, even Metzgers weakest efforts far outstrip those of most of his porn peers and successors, IM (and many others) HO. Gerard Damiano once again exhibits his flair for the dramatic in "Odyssey", a very good, 1977 release from the legendary Golden Age director and VCX / Alpha Blue Archives. review from 5/10/2006:
One of the best hardcore films ever made, Through The Looking Glass is a beautifully shot, masterfully directed, wonderfully scored, amazingly edited, and astoundingly well acted gem of a film. Softcore star Catherine Erhardt stars as Catherine, a rich socialite who is obsessed with her deceased father (played magnificently by Jamie Gillis). Ignoring the affection of her husband (Douglas Wood) and her daughter Jennifer (Laura Nicholson, who was 16 when this film was made), Catherine spends all of her free time upstairs in her attic, masturbating to objects which remind her of her father. One evening, while engaging in such activity, she thinks she notices an apparition, resembling her father, inside the mirror. [read the full review]

Introduction: Updated on March 3, 2003 to include screenshots. Note that the quality of these screenshots is, unfortunately, indicative of the poor AV quality of the DVD transfer. This is a "companion" review to Flash's review from a couple of weeks ago. I say "companion" because, in general, I'm not going to give duplicate technical information about this title - that is all easily accessible in Flash's submission. The purpose of this review is to offer an alternative viewpoint from which to consider the merits of the movie. Ironically, I never would have written this review at all were it not for the fact that I'd just purchased this movie (based on some Internet research) and then almost immediately after receiving it happened to see Flash's review. What's even more remarkable is that I'm not a regular ADT follower so the odds that I would have gone to this site on a day when his review was in the "recent" list were very small. review from 11/14/2002:
VCX's library contains some of the best classics of all time, especially with their recent acquisitions of TVX and Collectors film libraries. Unfortunately, many of their prints are in horrible shape. Due to the film itself and the transfer here I have a hard time recommending this film to anyone except die-hard fans of the film. The only decent part of the disc is the fact that it does appear to contain the uncut version of the film. [read the full review]
