Trouble With Young Stuff, The Review

Joe Sarno (here as Otis Hamlin) writes and directs THE TROUBLE WITH YOUNG STUFF (1976) as farm girl Alice Anne (Crystal Sync) takes in her younger cousin Matilda (Jenny Baxter) who disrupts the order between the two couple living in the apartment. Sarno has been down this road before creating terrific features (both hard and soft core) that use an oversexed female as the catalyst for most of the film's sexual activities. in this hardcore production, he mixes lesbian encounters with blowjob and some straight sex action as the out-of-work female characters carry on in their bedrooms with little time spent outside their apartment. 1 hour 36 minutes. Standard frame.

Male characters have very little to do in this flick. Norman (R Bolla) and Jack (Roger Caine) come home from work to play a little chess and to suck and fuck on demand while the milk man Lane (Sonny Landham) hits it with the ladies while on his daily route. Meanwhile, the female characters are well-drawn and Sarno uses these sexploits to resolve a few family secrets lurking in Matilda and Alice Anne's past.

So, when via a letter she discovers that Matilda is coming to stay with them, Alice Anne masturbates in her bedroom. Meanwhile, the sex crazed neighbor Dina (golden blonde Nancy Dare) comes over and reveals to Rose (Marlene Willoughby) how she had caught her mother (young shapely Gloria Leonard) fucking the milk man. She vows to bring the milk man by to suck and fuck in their place, which is something that Alice Anne and Rose allows so Dina's mother does not catch her in the act in their apartment across the hall.

Matilda arrives and over hears both couples sucking and fucking through the walls then the next day encounters Dina keeping her promise to bring the milk man around to fuck. Dina and the milk man land in the couch and their passionate sucking and fucking brings Rose out of her room to masturbate in an archway and Matilda to observe from the entrance way to the kitchen.

During their next visit, Matilda gets off with the assistance of Dina and the milkman. Again, Rose masturbates during this encounter but Alice Anne lights a cigarette and eventually storms out of the apartment.

The following day, Matilda uses the return of Dina and the milk man to fix Rose up with the duo while she spends time seducing Alice Anne in the next room so that they can get back some of the sexual magic that they had encountered in their younger days on the farm.

Matilda and Alice Anne are buddy-buddy in the kitchen as they discuss Rose's "post orgasmic guilt" that they resolve the next day by having the ladies go down on Rose. The milk man and Dina's mom eventually join in the action and the two boyfriends also arrive for that something special happening at their apartment. Matilda tells Alice Anne that she will ride Jack's cock while Alice Anne sucks on her tits and that's exactly what they do. Soon, Matilda packs her things during continued sexual hijinks. In the exitway, she and Alice Anne resolve a few questions as to why Alice Anne's Mom had sent Matilda away all those years before. Secrets are revealed; Matilda leaves for a job in Philly and Alice Anne joins in with what's left of the sexual activity in her apartment.

This 1 hour and 36 minute version of THE TROUBLE WITH YOUNG STUFF (1976) is really terrific. Cute and perky Jenny Baxter is perfect as Matilda and Sarno's use of her lesbian encounters to build up to that final fling with her cousin's man is really the highlight of the extensive sexual action that's incredibly captured throughout by Sarno's camera. However, it's Sarno's script---the tension between the two cousins Matilda and Alice Anne eventually leading to the two resolving questions from their childhood---that gives this flick way more character and substance than most xxx films ever.

So, check out THE TROUBLE WITH YOUNG STUFF (1976) for this terrific xxx flick that brings these two carnal kissing cousins and cohorts together for rounds of sexual action that never really leave this NYC apartment.
