Amanda By Night Review

Review:
A simple call from a shady and manipulative ex-lover, Jamie Gillis, for a pair of hookers to service a high-end client goes horribly wrong for a madam with a heart of gold, Veronica Hart, when one of the two ladies meets her untimely demise in a swimming pool whilst on the job. Quickly, and despite trying to get out of the skin trade, Veronica finds herself buried deeper and deeper in a high stakes game of drugs, sex, and murder that can end in only one of two ways for the unsuspecting young woman...and only one of them is good. Such is the case in "Amanda By Night", a phenomenal, 1981 release from Caballero and director Robert McCallum. A classic feature in every sense of the word, this film has it all--an incredible plot, top-notch acting, an all-star cast, and raunchy, dirty sex. Indeed, the storyline is dark, gritty, and realistic, and the cast of characters is believable and relatable. Hart is stellar in her role, as are Gillis and R. Bolla (a good-guy cop) in theirs. The supporting cast of female flesh is exceptional, as well, with the likes of the lovely Samantha Fox and the creamy-toned redhead, Lisa DeLeeuw, bringing both their naughty bits and their superior acting chops to the film. As much a mainstream release as a porn flick, this production really hits the old, nostalgic spot and should rank highly on any list of the best adult films ever made. It's that good. So...if you haven't seen it already...be sure to do so. There's no doubt that it's worth your time and money. Hands down and dicks up, it's a winner!

In terms of the sex, Scene One finds the delectably freckled fire-crotch, Lisa DeLeeuw, fucking it out with an undercover cop from whom she's currying favor, Ron Jeremy, on a plaid sofa (bit of oral, vaginal ; titty-fuck to a facial). In Scene Two, two prosties, Lisa DeLeeuw again and her companion Samantha Fox, don the black latex to dominate a hard-cocked, chained-up, and masked city bigwig in a dungeon (oral--DeLeeuw, vaginal--Fox ; pop on Fox's latex-clad tummy), while Scene Three has Veronica Hart turning out a virgin (Jon Martin) at her apartment whilst wearing sheer, white lingerie (oral, vaginal). The prior two sequences are intercut, which draws a stark contrast between the harsh ferocity of the hard-edged, S&M scene and the beauty of both innocence and virginity lost. In Scene Four, two vice cops, Ron Jeremy and Michael Morrison, try out the new blonde "masseuse" at the local jack-shack, Lee Carroll, in the back. She sucks both of them simultaneously and then Jeremy pounds her out before a fellow officer from homicide, R. Bolla, puts a gun to his head just as he pops on her backside. Crazy! Scene Five has her ex-lover (and manipulator), Jamie Gillis, pounding out the beautiful madam and star of the film, Veronica Hart, in her apartment after filling her head with dreams of legitimacy (oral, vaginal ; facial). In Scene Six, the drug-addled hooker, Samantha Fox, repays Jamie Gillis for some "smack" by letting him bend her over next to the bathtub in her apartment (oral, vaginal ; facial). Scene Seven brings together Brooke West, Arcadia Lake (RIP), and Eric Edwards in the back bedroom of a party (vaginal--both ; load on West's bush), whilst in Scene Eight, two hookers at the same party, Mai Lin and Nicole Black, frantically blow and then fuck super-stud Herschel Savage as part of an audience-fueled bet. The crowd cheers as they go at it (oral--both ladies, vaginal--both ladies ; Mai jerks Savage to completion out of cowgirl by Black). Scene Nine, which is preceded by a slideshow photo gallery (clearly a mix-up in taking this over to a digital format), has Veronica Hart masturbating with a vibrator before R. Bolla barges in on her, fearing for her safety. In Scene Ten, Veronica Hart and R. Bolla come together out on her personal sailboat for a quick, celebratory fuck (oral, vaginal). They fuck off into the sunset... (actually, it's cloudy... but you get the idea.) Awesome film...all-around!
