"Dracula Sucks"...and so does the movie. Despite featuring a veritable Who's Who of the Golden Age of adult films (with the likes of Annette Haven, Seka, Serena, Kay Parker, Jamie Gillis, Paul Thomas, John Leslie, etc. onboard), this film still manages to fall flatter than piss on a plate in just about every conceivable manner. Flash's
review from 11/10/2015:
Dracula Sucks is an odd, high budget, and very fun adult film, which could have only come out of the 1970s adult film industry. While constantly trying to straddle the line of mainstream comedy and adult horror, and never 100 percent succeeding at any of these tasks, the end result is a unique experience that has a lot to offer viewers looking for more than just copulation. The print isn't perfect, but is better than any release prior. [read the full review]

Golden Age Media's release of the Desiree Cousteau Triple Feature contains the films Getting Off, Pretty Peaches, and Summer in Heat. Getting Off is a rather standard loop carrier by Ed DePriest, and Pretty Peaches is an enjoyable feature by Alex de Renzy, and Summer in Heat is an enjoyable film from Christy McCabe. Whether the Desiree Cousteau Triple Feature is right for you depends on what film(s) you are interested in from the three film collection. All three films appear to be sourced from 3/4 video masters. Getting Off has decent video quality but problematic audio quality, Pretty Peaches has poor video and audio quality, and Summer in Heat has decent video and audio quality. [read the full review]

review from 12/19/2015:
Possessing special powers that allow them to turn both frigid housewives and uninterested daughters into naughty nymphomaniacs with but a single fuck, Dickman (John Holmes) and Throbbin (Tom Byron) spread the love in "The Erotic Adventures of Dickman and Throbbin". An otherwise-good, 1986 release from Western Visuals and Jerome Tanner, the version of this flick available at adultempire.com as a part of their (...excellent, I might add...) unlimited streaming service seems to be missing the last few scenes (at least according to the scene list at iafd.com). Interestingly, a quick check of various other digital porn providers seems to indicate that this is the rule and not the exception. This sad decision on someone's part, of course, means that the plot is cut short, as is the sex. That said, what is included is still hot, and the Amber Lynn, Tom Byron, John Holmes boinking remains intact. While it's difficult to fully recommend a heavily cut version of a film, this one is still fun. [read the full review]

Getting Off (GAM) review summaries:
Flash's
review from 2/21/2018:
Getting Off is a rather standard feature-style loop carrier from the 1970s. There is essentially no plot although some work has gone into creating the connective material for the film. The loops don't entirely fit within the narrative and the fact that they were originally shot as unconnected loops is rather obvious. The sex scenes aren't bad but this reviewer would recommend a rental of this title over a purchase. Golden Age Media has done a decent job with their DVD release of Getting Off with decent video, sourced from a 3/4 video master, and problematic audio. [read the full review]

Miss Passion and Love Bites Double Feature Directed by: Suze Randall - Initial Thoughts: Flashback time, back to the days of bush and big hair. For this disc, we take a trip back to the 80's, when Amber and Ginger Lynn were all the rage in porn, and features ruled the day. Suze Randall brings us a double feature, one movie from each of these two super babes catalogue. Miss Passion features Ginger Lynn, and is hosted by Suze Randall as "Suze Cooze" and is kind of this mix between a sexual exhibition and a porn gameshow, basically the precursor to Gonzo, with some style and costumes added. Love Bites features Amber Lynn, and is more of a traditional feature, with a focus on fantasy. Both features are cut down a bit, "Miss Passion is missing about 19 minutes and 2 scenes, Ginger and Traci and Steve Drake and Traci. "Love Bites" is missing nearly 25 minutes, and I couldn't find how many scenes since there was no good breakdown anywhere I looked. Again Traci is the reason. [read the full review]

Sex, swinging, and all types of erotic fun result when John Holmes, who's having an affair on his wife, finds his yellow jeep stolen whilst out shopping one day. review from 3/17/2016:
Blonde Emmanuelle is an amusing adult take on Casablanca. While Asterix has included the 3D version of the film, the hardcore and R-rated versions are sadly missing. With the hardcore sex scenes missing it becomes a little more obvious how the plot was designed to go from sex scene to sex scene but the thin plot is still fun, the film features a great cast, and the humor still works. Asterix has done a disappointing job with the release with problems with the transfer, only a few truly good extras, and the lack of versions present on the release. Director Stephen Gibson said that there is a 3D Blu-ray coming for the title so it is recommended that you not seek out the old Asterix DVD and wait for the Blu-ray. [read the full review]

I heard so many good things about Taxi Girls before I saw it. But, of course when I eventually saw it, well, I was less than satisfied. The premises is promising enough: hookers form a taxi company with the added bonus of sex, but when the film gets down to it, there's just too much sex. Characters and characterization is sacrificed on the alter of carnality. Promising subplots are thrown out in exchanged for excess screwing. There are a few amusing moments, but the film wastes its excellent cast, among them the always welcome Serena and the magnificent Nanci Suiter on material more suited for a perverse elementary school play. Jaacov Jaacovi isn't a bad director technically, but he just doesn't seem to know when a scene has gotten tiresome and repetitive and he must move on. [read the full review]

Although Taxi Girls has several elements going for it, the end result is less than perfect. Fans of one of the stars may want to pick up this title for that reason, but due to the coercion scene at the end of the film, which ruins the light hearted feel of the film I have trouble recommending this film to any particular group. review from 3/7/2003:
Here is a Harold Lime/Robert McCallum classic from 1982 that is still famous over 20 years later. It won six adult film critic awards, including best picture. Because it was filmed near the end of the "golden age," there aren't quite as many exterior shots as there would have been in movies a few years older. The plot involves a madam named Amanda (Veronica Hart) who, as a favor to her former pimp and lover (Jamie Gillis), sets up an S & M session for a local politician. The girls that she sends for this session (Lisa de Leeuw and Samantha Fox) are later found dead. R. Bolla plays the straight-arrow homicide detective trying to solve the case, without much help from Amanda. To make matters worse, there's a corrupt vice squad cop (Ron Jeremy) who is constantly getting in the way. By today's standards, this is couples' fare, with relatively short sex scenes, and loads of plot. It's so good-hearted, it could almost be on the Family Channel. Veronica Hart gets to over-act and ham it up ridiculously. It's a good movie, but a poor DVD. [read the full review]

review from 6/15/2003:
Although not the best movie of the era, Nothing To Hide may well be the quintessential Golden Age Classic. If youve ever wanted to know what separates the Golden Age movies from contemporary classics then look no further. The movie revolves around the relationship between Jack (John Leslie) and his slow witted/ retarded buddy, Lenny (Richard Pacheco). Jack is a smooth talking ladies man who effortlessly moves from one conquest to the next. Lenny, on the other hand, has no luck with the ladies - despite Jacks constant promises to set him up. However, when Lenny falls for a similarly awkward girl Jack has to face the prospect of life without his buddy. If your exposure to porn is limited to contemporary product either feature or gonzo this is going to be quite a change of pace. Even the narrative driven couples porn of today is a fair distance from movies such as this. For a start the sex scenes are far shorter than would be acceptable today (which, from a story telling perspective at least, is no bad thing). [read the full review]

Director: Anthony Spinelli Writer: Michael Ellis Videographer: Jack Remy Running length: 97 minutes D.O.P. 1981 Female cast: Chelsea Manchester, Erica Boyer, Tigr, Misty Regan, Holly McCall, Liz Randolph, Raven Turner, Pat Manning Male cast: John Leslie, Richard Pacheco, Eric Stein, Anthony Spinelli Audio/Video: For being over 20 years old, the picture isn't bad at all. The audio suffers in just a few places, making the voices somewhat muffled, but in general it was very watchable. Much of it was filmed outdoors, yet wind noise was minimal. Extras: None Condoms: One, Richard Pacheco's scene The Movie: I liked Justine: Nothing To Hide 2 so well, I thought I'd check out the original that started the series. Come to find out, there's absolutely nothing that ties them together, and NTH #1 is actually the sequel to another classic, Talk Dirty To Me. Sounds confusing, but you need not see one to appreciate the other. I've seen very few of the 'classics' of porn, but I'm starting to appreciate them more. [read the full review]
