The Ultimate Thrill is a rather generic compilation of what appear to all be shot on video scenes. There isn't any thematic arc or any noticeable reason why these scenes were picked to be put together. As with any compilation like this, there are some scenes that are better than others. The best scene of the compilation features Tom Byron and Bunny Bleu in a bubble bath. Another stand-out scene is a blowjob only scene with Angel West and a faceless male, one of the few scenes in the compilation to contain dialog.

Most of the scenes presented here are devoid of any dialog and any story elements that existed in the originating material have been stripped. So, the compilation just goes from one sex scene to the next showing only sexual action. None of the original sources of the material is presented here, so if you want to see the original title, you are out of luck. Most of the dialog has been stripped from the scenes or was never present to begin with. Some have a line or two and others have no dialog at all. Music is played over all of the sex scenes.

Overall, The Ultimate Thrill is a rather standard compilation of 80s sex scenes repackaged. There are some very good scenes but overall the scenes are just average. If you like the stars and enjoy compilations, there is no reason not to pick up this release.

The Ultimate Thrill is presented in the academy aspect ratio of 1.33:1 in 480i. The video presentation is rather stable throughout The Ultimate Thrill. There are some scenes that are in better shape than others and some that present some glitches in the video. There is a defect on the right side and the left side of the screen against the edges where the video shows a striping, sometimes darker, sometimes lighter, sometimes colored. There is also some haloing present. Overall there is nothing horrible about the presentation. It all looks like your average shot on video adult fare from the 80s. The final scene is in rougher shape than the rest exhibiting more grain than the rest of the scenes.

The Ultimate Thrill is presented with an English Dolby Digital 2.0 monaural audio track. The audio presentation is fine for the material being presented. Many of the scenes have no dialog or almost no dialog so it is just music. For those that do the dialog is clear and can be heard and understood.

The Ultimate Thrill is a compilation of sex scenes from various movies from the 1980s. There are a few stand-out scenes in the compilation but most of them are just average and none that are horrible. If you are a fan of compilations from this time period, there is no reason not to check out this title. Caballero has done their standard job with this release. The video has some defects but nothing absolutely horrible and the audio is standard.
