When I first watched the movie, I mistook Otto Bauer as the director directing the action Skeeter Kerkove style as in he's in the scene telling the girls what to do but it turns out he's just another character. Alicia Angel (a) & Sascha Roxy Jezel (a), Nikki Nievez (a), and Alex Sanders Kelly Wells (a), Otto Bauer, and Alec Knight The setting is very dark with an emphasis on how the light falls on the girls. You know artsy dark stuff without being gothic. I just found the scenes to drag but the sex wasn't that long when you time it; a lot of emphasis was on the tease. When I first watched the movie, I mistook Otto Bauer as the director directing the action Skeeter Kerkove style as in he's in the scene telling the girls what to do but it turns out he's just another character. Alicia Angel (a) & Sascha Roxy Jezel (a), Nikki Nievez (a), and Alex Sanders Kelly Wells (a), Otto Bauer, and Alec Knight The setting is very dark with an emphasis on how the light falls on the girls. You know artsy dark stuff without being gothic. I just found the scenes to drag but the sex wasn't that long when you time it; a lot of emphasis was on the tease. For those who have seen these scenes before, some of them may seem somewhat edited from the original DVDs that they were on, but it is nothing serious at all. I read a piece of promotional material for this one that this is part of his foray into the "Artcore Gonzo" genre. Seems true enough. Right from the start, let me say that CASHMERE is a great-looking movie and ana amazing production from VCA. This video directed by the one and only Michael Ninn occasionally goes overboard with the digital effects used throughout the various sex scenes, but unlike his previous efforts like SHOCK, LATEX and the highly disappointing NEW WAVE HOOKERS, they never distract or get in the way of the eroticism (his best work, DECADENCE and DIVA I through III have yet ato appear on DVD. However, I do have a aesthetic complaint about this film, which unfortunately cannot be helped due to the visual setting and theme of this movie. I was still surprised when I found myself paying more attention to the visuals and plot of the film than the sex, especially at the beginning. There is a definite emphasis placed away from the sex, most of the sex is a bit impersonal. It is laboratory sex. This aspect plays right along with the plot however.
