Review:
A battle (...and boffing...) of Biblical proportions is brewing, as a cadre of shadow demons are behind a spate of unexplainable disappearances...portending an epic showdown of good vs. evil. Of course, stuck in the middle of it all is a troubled priest-turned-detective, Nick Manning, who's lost both his family and his faith, but who may yet find purpose in his life. So goes Sacred Sin, an exceptional 2006 release from director Michael Ninn and executive producer Eddie Van Halen (yes... THAT Eddie Van Halen, RIP). At times grim and at times even grotesque, yet always visually stunning, this production offers up spectacular cinematography and a captivating (though sometimes slightly difficult to fully follow) storyline in delivering its foreboding, horror-inspired themes.
Needless to say, the production values are off the chart--from the sets to the costuming to the effects--and the director's well-honed artistic flare is on full display throughout. Moreover, Eddie Van Halen contributes songs to the soundtrack, which in and of itself is fabulous, impressive, and melded perfectly to the goings-on. (Not to be missed is the sequence featuring the distraught protagonist, Nick Manning, sitting on the floor of his living room--gun in hand--being taunted by a sultry female entity...all as Eddie's guitar magic taps and growls out over top. This sequence may as well have been a professional music video. Wow!)
In terms of the sex, the highlights are many and varied, but the best of the bunch is arguably the pairing of the mocha-hued beauty, Dee, and her beastly, be-horned aggressor, Sledge Hammer (RIP), who mindlessly grunts and groans as he pounds out is prey against an old mansion backdrop. Hot! Also of note is the diabolical, all-girl threesome upon an elegant staircase involving the head demon, Heather Vuur, and her underlings, Nevaeh and A.J. Bailey. Sophisticated, dark, and laden with black lace and lingerie, this one is a succulent, Sapphic fuck-fest of the first order.
Of course, the other scenes follow suit and are generally excellent themselves, and the end result is an astonishing assortment of flesh, evil, beauty, and artistry. Ninn truly outdoes himself with this one. Be sure to check it out. Hands down and dicks up, it's a winner!
