Preview Expectations: I'm expecting art and some level of oddity in this movie. Mr. Ninn has a unique style to his porn, but there is usually a decent if not difficult to follow story that goes with it, and a hard edge art style to things to piece it all together. I could be wrong and that could be way off here, but from the cover it looks about right. I've been hit or miss with some of his works, but mostly I like the style. I'm a big fan of Nikita Denise, but am mostly unfamiliar with the rest of the cast, so I'm curious to find out the contents.

Initial Thoughts: I guessed about right on this one, the Ninn style is if full effect here, and if you follow Ninn, than to better describe this one, think of the cutting and washout segments from his "Latex" movies from the mid 90's. It has a familiar flow to those titles. The story is a bit thin and almost more stylish sex than story sometimes, a series of phone calls and unlocked fantasies is much of it, and there are times when there just is not a real strong point to what is going on, and there is a fair bit of that kind of dream/drug induced coma kind of sex flare to things sometimes. Think Horror suspense meets What the hell is that. When all is said and done though this is a very enjoyable feature with lots of style, and an excellent behind the scenes featurette to go along with things make this an attractive disc if your into stylish eerie porn movies with hot girls.

Technical Considerations: I can't really critique the technical aspects all that much here, the one I can like sound and picture quality are pretty well done, but there is so much style and cutting here that most of it is down to tastes, I found it to be a bit dark during some of the sex scenes, but I think it was more the style than a lighting issue, lots of blurring and frame skewing changes the picture quality constantly, but again if you like that sort of thing it's great and if you don't it's not really a technical issue just style.

Scene Breakdown

Scene 1: Anais and Mario Rossi

Michael Ninn has put out another winner here in my book, it's a title with a lot of effects to it that we don't get to see too often in adult films, it makes the production feel much more polished than what many features do. The sex is all well shot and well performed with a great cast, the story isn't really gonna hold anyone to it, but it doesn't have to here, it's about fantasy and stirring imagery that caters to a different taste. The feature runs about 102 mins, and with another 30 plus in extras, you have a pretty decent disc here that should make most viewers happy. I would say it is couples safe, but probably not an ideal pick for all couples, It's not the kind of style and approach that is going to appeal to everyone, so keep in mind that art styled porn is the norm here, but if it sounds like something you would enjoy, I think a rent is a lock, and I think most purchasers will be happy too.
