Private Ninn 4: Acid Dreams Review

Overall Impression
This is Ninn's second live action feature film for Private. It has the burden of some relatively high expectations considering the success of "Perfect". "Acid Dreams" is not perfect if you'll excuse the pun. It has some very strong scenes, but is a very uneven film. I'm generally a huge Ninn fan as well usually impressed with so called "artsy porn". Unfortunately Ninn lost me with his constantly skewed yellow color pallet and effects that failed to compliment the sexual action. This disc does manage to produce a few quality scenes and a great find in Mercedes.

Plot
"San Fransisco 1965 and the CIA is using brain bending techniques to test the psychosexual extremes of their subjects. Mind control is the name of the game, and mind blowing chicks are the bait. Set against the background of the cold war, Washington is going all out to win the race for mind control supremacy. No trick is too low, and the sizzling government employed sluts are definitely aiming below the belt as they practice their cock-teasing trade on their victims."

Scene 1 Nikita Denise
Nikita being the talent she is and Ninn being the talent he is of course the scene is not going to suck. However it does fall way short of expectations. Maybe my expectation were unrealistic due to the phenomenal results these two achieved working together in "Perfect". Sure there are some great moments, and some nice looks from Denise, but the scene just doesn't play that well. The location is uninspired, and a little played out already if you ask me. Ninn and his minions over at NinnWorx have kind have done the industrial porn thing to death at this point. The washed out and soft lighting didn't work to well, plus the scene was just edited rather poorly in my personal opinion. The music drowned out the sounds of sex a little too much as well. The sexual action felt like it was paced on the slow side. I felt like I had already seen everything in this 1on1 before in some other Ninn related project, be it "Lost Angels", "Perfect", or "Fetish" Overall I just expected more.

Scene 2 Wanda Curtis & Shay Sights
Before this 2on1 gets going each of these two lovely ladies treat us two a little bit of a solo strip tease. I've been a big Curtis fan for a while and I'm always happy to see this NinnWorx's contract star, but I've always felt Shay was underused and untapped talent. I was curious to see how Ninn would use her here. The action gets of to good start with some strong BJ footage and some interesting spit swapping. The music is better here as it allows us to here the highly entertaining sexual banter between these three. The rather statuesque and full figured Shay dominates this scene nicely with some forceful dirty talk and a somewhat rare anal performance. Once again I found the industrial setting a little stale, but the scene had enough edge to it to keep it interesting.

Scene 3 Michelle Michaels
The magnetic Michaels stars in this 1on1 stairwell encounter. The action starts with her being treated to some rather lengthy oral attention. She of course reciprocates the favor with an impressive display of her own oral skills. Some nice footage her of Michelle. They move on to some reverse cowgirl and a rather beautiful stretch of what I guess you would call standing missionary. No anal here as the scene ends with a pop shot to the chest. A very nice scene nonetheless. Michelle can really play to the camera with some incredible eye contact when she wants to.

Scene 4 Wanda Curtis, Shay Sights & Heather Tristany
Once again before the real action goes down we see Sights and Curtis deliver some solo performances first. These are even lengthier than last time, and sadly less effective. There is some nice footage here and there, but it is largely lost as Ninn gets extremely self indulgent with his special effects and strange edits. Oh yeah don't let me forget Heather! I don't really know what to make of her. I'm going to go ahead here and assume that Heather Tristany is indeed a her, however she looks incredibly masculine with man's hips if I've ever seen them, bolt on breasts and a Bridget Nielson buzz cut. She doesn't get involved in much of the action which is essentially a girl/girl scene. Nevertheless she certainly ups the kink factor with her masculine jaw line, serious muscles and obscenely numerous clitoral piercings. Interesting scene, but in the end it fell flat. A powerful example of style over substance.

Scene 5 Shay Sights
Shay is up again in this boy/girl 1on1. This one starts of well enough with some sloppy and wet BJ action from Sights. I really often admired her form, her body type reminds me of Jasmine St. Claire a lot. Anyway they go at it in a few position until the scene ends with a pretty good facial. No anal this time around. Overall it is a decent little scene, but not nearly as strong as her previous 2on1 performance with Nick Manning

Scene 6 Mercedes Ashley
This scene starts of as a 1on1 with Mercedes and Steve Holmes. Things get good early with some interesting banter and some great BJ footage from Mercedes. After some "Acid" like screen effects the next thing Steve sees is a big black man having his way with his prostitute. Some great stuff here, but Ninn does get a little carried away with the editing here. However Mercedes is a great find and one of the best black female performers I've seen in a long time. She really does deliver an outstanding performance here with some amazing sexual energy and some truly arousing facial expressions. I can't wait to see more of her.

Scene 7 Nikita Denise
Nikita returns for a second performance in this 2on1. As I said I was let down by her first scene, so I was happy to see that this one was of higher quality. Some classic Nikita blowjob moments as the blue eyed Euro sex fiend reminded me why I love her. One of the things I liked about this scene is there is a lot of kissing which is especially rare for a 2on1. The other feat this scene achieves nicely is that it is really a nasty & dirty sex, complete with spiting into Nikita's mouth, pulling her hair, anal, and DP; but it does not come of in a demeaning way at all. Instead it is just some quality kinky sex .
