Private Ninn 1: Perfect Review

Overall Impression
I had been eagerly anticipating this production. European pornographic powerhouse Private being one of my favorite and most dependable studios and Michael Ninn being among my favorite directors I hoped their coming together might mean a marriage of all the best things American porn and European porn had to offer.

Ok so my expectations were a little unrealistic.

Perfect is an extremely good film, but not a great film. I was happy to see that Ninn had decided to go with widescreen. There are some phenomenal visuals and some classic Ninn sex scenes, but there are also some scenes that are way too short and unfocused. The cast is populated by a ton of veterans and rising stars, unfortunately we don't get to spend enough time with everyone. As many of Michael's critics often point out, he has a tendency to go for style over substance. While often I think his style enhances the substance of his sex scenes, I have to admit that his critics have a point at times throughout this film. However there is enough good to outweigh the bad in the end. The fact that this disc is packed with a truly staggering amount of extra material makes it that much easier for me to give this film a solid recommendation.

Plot
This film had much more story development and was way more plot driven than what I am used to seeing from Ninn. The story resembles the futuristic epic "Blade Hunter". It doesn't always flow perfectly and it is a bit confused at times. The acting is decent, but nothing to write to the Academy about.

The back of the box sells it as follows:

"The year 2034 - the Earth, a dark, polluted and over populated planet, a one party, totalitarian state. Jon Rice (Nick Manning) is called in by the police to seek out and destroy the "Mecas" - highly intelligent android with an insatiable urge for sex, prostitutes under the former regime. Rice, together with his glamorous assistant Miss Majors (Jodie Moore) sets out on his quest through a fantastic world, brought alive by top director Michael Ninn's high-tech wizardry. Science-fiction, fetishism, psycho adventure and glamour all in one exciting film."

Packaging
This is a beautifully packaged 2disc set. It is a cardboard box that houses two fold out disc trays as well as a small companion booklet. Not all that different from many mainstream special edition DVD packages you see on the shelves these days.

Disc 1

Scene 1 Monica Mayhem
Seemingly Monica is an android who just as she awakens from a healthy rest recounts her dreams of warmth and flesh. Monica has her hair back and is wearing a white full body suite as the sex begins in this 1on1. Ninn's camera roams around the action as Mayhem's mouth roams over her partner's cock, making for some nice BJ footage. She loses the body suite leaving only her white boots on as she rides away in an aerobic looking cowgirl session. The scene climaxes with a solid facial, thus ending a very solid scene.

Scene 2/a Julia Ann, Sabrine Maui & Fujiko Kano
Our android bounty hunter, walks into what appears to be some sort of brothel and is willing to pay for a little pleasure. This scene is fairly confusing and I'm not sure it entirely makes sense to me, but for clarity I have divided it into two scenes a & b. Julia is dressed in a hooded black body suite, and is joined by two ladies (Maui & Kano) who start of in evening dresses. All three girls focus their attention on bounty hunter Jon Rice. There is a lot of eye contact with the camera as these lookers are paying lip service to his johnson. Next we briefly see a now naked Julia receiving all of the participants attention, before the scene cuts to Nakita Denise.

Scene 2/b Nakita Denise
This segment starts of with raven haired enchantress Denise seducing the camera as she flashes those piercing, electric blue eyes right at you. Ninn shows us a montage of angles and perspectives of Nakita getting herself off, all the while continuing to find the viewer with her eyes as she radiates sexual desire. If your familiar with Ninn you know he loves to have his women look into the viewers eyes, (at the camera) especially during the blowjob. This scene is certainly a fine example. Nikita delivers some accomplished oral attention. After the seductive foreplay they finally start going at it. There are some nice views of the action, Ninn even made the shots of Nick Manning (Rice) fingering her ass while he fucked her in missionary look erotic and seductive. It was seductive enough to encourage Denise to climb on top for some anal reverse cowgirl anyway. The scene ends with a terrific facial. Nakita's eyes continue to find the camera as she lingers on his cock, enjoying his spunk. Ninn edits in some footage of the three ladies from scene 2/a here. I enjoyed Nikita immensely in this scene.

Julia Ann returns at the end of this scene, informing Rice that his time is up. Our bounty hunter Mr. Rice draws his gun and blows her away. Ann is a Meca (android) who is apparently both herself and some kind of projection of Nakita. This is why the scene was so confusing to me. I'm left with the impression that Rice saw Nakita the entire time he looked at Julia, and that the scene 2/a and 2/b are both supposed to be happening at the same time. If so I just don't understand how Maui and Kano fit in logically.

Note:
These next three scenes are all relatively short, I have divided them into separate scenes, but are probably intended as a sampling of the various action going on in this large establishment.

Scene 3 Wendy Divine & Shay Sights
Wendy delivers a beautiful blowjob while the statuesque Sights plays with here dildo in the background. I really enjoyed Wendy and was quite disappointed to find that this would be a BJ only scene.

Scene 4 Kelly Fire (Kelly Steel) & Kristal Summers
Both ladies are paired up and show us some nice cock sucking. Kelly also has a very nice but very brief sex scene. Both pairings end with facials.

Scene 5 Brook Hunter & Dru Berrymore
This scene shows us a beautiful Brook writhing around in pleasure as some guy is going down on her. If I'm not mistaken there is a very different looking, but very attractive Dru Berrymore using her fingers to pleasure herself throughout.

Note:
The previous three scenes all have great looking ladies and some serious eye candy. However I found it left me extremely disappointed for the most part because I didn't get to see nearly enough of any one of them. I would have rather Ninn threw out two and expanded on one of them.

Scene 6 Jodie Moore & Tina Tyler
This is a girl/girl scene and bot a bad one at that. There are some great visuals, but it is a tad bit too much style over sex.

Scene 7 Jodie Moore
This scene is a pretty hot 2on1 . Jodie is sensational as she takes on these two characters. One guy is a Marilyn Manson wanna be and the other guy looks like the devil. Moore shows us why Private signed her to a huge exclusive contract here. This Australian blonde bombshell is stunning from head to toe, as she seems to effortlessly enjoy anal reverse cowgirl and DPs. The scene ends with a double facial.

Scene 8 Jodie Moore, Mia Smiles, & Kiwi / Layla Jade & Flick Shagwell
This scene is actually two scenes cut together. An all girl romp with Jodie, Mia, and Kiwi spliced together with another 2on1 starring Brits Layla and Flick on that Manson wanna be. 99% of the time I hate it when two scenes are intercut together, especially when the action seems to be taking place in separate locations. Unfortunately this scene does not make it in to that 1%. The all girl threesome has some moments, and all three ladies look very fine indeed, but it didn't entirely work for me. The 2on1 was a waste if you ask me, because it never really goes beyond a hummer and some foreplay when its all said and done.

Scene 9 Jodie Moore
The film end with a very strong 1on1 performance from Manning and Moore. These two go at it in a great variety of position in this idealistic outdoor beach scene. The cinematography is excellent here as Ninn show them set against the ocean waves, going at it under the tropical sun. My only complaint is a small one, there is no anal.

Bonus Scene Jodie Moore
This bonus scene is basically a healthy amount of tease footage staring Jodie. She looks great of course, but nothing that blew me away here.

Disc 2 Extras

Locations
Basically the "Locations" section of the disc is where you will find the vast majority of the behind the scenes footage, organized into three chapters. I was shocked at how much footage there is here There is simply an astronomical amount of footage. It is actually quite entertaining for the most part surprisingly considering how much there is to sift through. I was upset to find that there is some footage of Julia and Manning going at it in standing doggie that never made the final cut for some reason. If you ask me though the best reason to watch this footage is Nakita Denise. Getting to hear raw sound sample of her sex scenes made me which Ninn paid more attention to the actual sound of sex. She purrs with pleasure and seems to be in genuine sexual bliss. There is some priceless footage of her here. We finally get to hear her sexy thick European accent, and my good does she have one of those deep sultry voices. At one point she bends over and starts sucking on her toes while seducing the camera, impressive! I think I may have totally fallen for her. Over all there is a lot here, tons of short spur of the moment interviews with most of the cast, rehearsal footage, live takes, in between takes, ect.

Final Thoughts
The more complete scenes like Mayhem's 1on1, Nikita's 1on1, Moore's 2on1 and her final scene are excellent. Those are the scenes that make the film worth watching in my opinion. Add the impressive extras to the total and it makes for a standout production.
