Behind The Scenes: Some heavily-stylised and edited footage of the girls getting photographed for the boxcover and promo "Pretty Girl" shots. The girls look lovely, of course, but there's very little that's truly BTS. Some of it is interesting to watch such as the little interview snippets. Other parts of it are almost like the actual coffee-table porn of the title, well, except for the crew guys wandering around. Quite long.

A quick note on scene ratings - unlike many reviewers of different things who tend to rate "average" as 7/10. I rate average as 5/10, this makes 7/10 from me quite a bit above average, so bear this in mind when reading the overall DVD and scene ratings.

I reviewed the first volume of this series by Ninn a couple of months ago (Sapphic Liasons) so I'm expecting much the same - gorgeous women made up to the nines, beautifully shot and with a touch more style than substance.

Scene 1:
Jana Cova, Anais.
Dildoes.

Both girls are European, and this being Ninn's work, naturally look gorgeous. Jana is a Barbie doll, but absolutely breathtaking. Seriously, it hurts just to watch her here in the outdoor setting, with a pool as a the background. Some sort of water-drop-speckle effect is applied to the video, which gives it a shimmery look. Jana masturbates solo by the pool for awhile before Anais arrives, looking every inch like a Vogue model until she shucks off her black dress and takes a quick dip before laying back to masturbate herself. Both girls appear in fabulous loking black-and-white striped corsets, as some creepy looking guy in a white suit watches and provides an unwanted visual distraction. The footage cuts back and forth between them naked, cavorting in the pool and wearing the corsets, cavorting outside the pool. A transparent red dildo joins in the fun and later, a black vibe

This is stylised, "coffee table" porn. It's a Penthouse spread that's moving, not "real" sex. If you like this sort of thing, it's great. If you're not into it, then I'd definately avoid it. All the sound is pretty much overdubbed with music. Having said that, I'm not a fan of guys in my lesbian porn, even as background props. As breathtakingly beautiful as the girls are, the background guy was a massive unwanted distraction and this otherwise really-great-for-it's-genre scene suffers for it.

Scene 2:
Michelle B, Sue Diamond.(I think!)

I'm not sure exactly which girl is which here, but just for the record, both are once again gorgeous, blonde, large-breasted creatures. The setting this time is in an empty office, and both girls are wearing black, though soon they're down to stockings and pulled-down tops and gloves and such. As before, the girls masturbate seperately, then are paired in an indoor pool/greenhouse location. This scene includes some live sound (just standard fake-porn moans) as well as the Ninn music. The dildo used here seems to be one of the shaped metal toys that ADT's Loraine speaks so highly of. There's some wet-tongue swordfighting as the girls shoot sideways looks at the camera - not nearly as hot as real passionate kissing would have been, but it'll do for now.

Less MTV-edited than the past scene, it had much more of a feel of a standard g/g porn scene than most of Ninn's work, but I certainly still enjoyed it.

Scene 3:
Three of: Georgia Adair, Marlena, Sue Diamond, Michelle B.

Well, I still don't know who is who without checking the credits, but I'll take the safe guess that Michelle B (or Sue Diamond) will be the same hot blonde that I just watched in the last scene. Michelle and Marlena, a gorgeous (surprised?) browny-redhead both wear stocking-bodysuits with pink feather boas. The editing is very much MTV stylised with blur effects a bit overused. Judging from Marlena's nipples and goosebumped skin it must be bloody cold on set there! Marlena lets her fingers do both the walking and the diving as we;re treated to live porn-moan sound over the music. Georgia, another unbelievably hot blonde reclines on some furniture and does the same. Soon the two of them meet up for some Liasions that may not exactly be Unbridled, but are certainly Sapphic. A white, black-striped glass dildo does the rounds this time in Marlena's pussy care of Georgia befoe Marlena returns the favour with a black dildo from Georgia's behind, doggy style. There's a brief glimpse of Georgia's back, showing her tailbone tattoo, which is funnily enough the first sign of ink we've had so far. Sue (or is it Georgia? Michelle?) joins them from the stairs and the scene becomes a three-girl gropefest, but sadly ends soon after.

Perhaps not the best scene for some hardcore whacking, it is once again visually impressive coffee-table porn with gorgeous women prancing about.

Scene 4:
Britney Skye, Amy Reid.

Britney is another enhanced-chested, gorgeous-faced Barbie doll, and has quite a hardcore back catalogue elsewhere. She's easily IDed for thiose unfamiliar with her here by her armband tattoo. She starts off in a PVC corset-dress, which gets unzipped enough so that her huge breasts can pop out before her fingers do the walking. It should come as no surprise to anyone by this time that she looks amazing doing so. Once again live audio is used for the masturbation here. Once Britney "comes", we cut to German-born, American-raised Amy, who peels herself out of the same kind of Corset that Britney was wearing. Amy, by the way has a pretty face, "big" 90's style blonde hair and a killer body. She crouches down and masturbates, and once that's done with, she pairs off with Britney, who is now wearing a pink corset while Amy wears the black one, well, briefly.

Britney practices her eating out and provides Amy with a dildo before Amy reciprocates. Both girls kept their PVC/Patent Leather shoes and boots on throughout the scene.

More of the same, really. But then what were you expecting?

Scene 5:
Anais or Angel Cassidy, Mia Smiles.

I'm not 100% sure if we've already seen the blonde Angel at some point, I can however tell you that she's a great-looking hot blonde. Interestingly, the footage from the opening credits clearly identifies the blonde girl in this scene as Anais. Whoever the blonde is, Mia Smiles is her partner in this scene, and is a pretty asian girl with not-quite-as-immense-as-everyone-else breasts. The two of them can be seen on the front cover of this DVD in a still taken from this scene, which is clearly going to be the "atmospheric" one of the disc. The scene starts with lots of moving footage of the trwo of them, usually wearing sexy PVC outfits, rock music over the top, industrial background, smoking, distorted video screens, stark lighting and so forth. Anyway, the scene starts with Mia masturbating on some steps while wearing a dog collar and chain under cold lighting, then meeting up with Anais under warm lighting and getting eaten out on a couch before Mia licks Anais, standing against a metal wall before getting out the big blue dildo and going to town.. The footage here suffers a bit from lens flare and frame-drop video effects and is the least sexy of all the scenes because of the setting and overuse of visual effects and elements.

Despite the girls all being identified in the opening credits of the disc, it would have been a lot nicer to ID the performers at the start of each scene, as there's a bit of overlap and some of the girls look very similar at times. You know, blonde, gorgeous, busty..
Once again though, this disc was pretty much totally as expected. Exquisitely-shot Penthouse-magazine sex. Again the problem with Ninn, as mentioned before is that he can let his style overcome the substance, but at least here it was only in one scene (the final scene). It should be pointed out, though, that Jana Cova's solo posing footage at the start of this disc is nearly worth the purchase price of this disc by itself, a fantastic piece of erotic photography from Ninn's DP, Chris Hall. The recommendation for this volume is pretty simple. If you like the Penthouse-Pictorial style of porn, you should like this, and if you don't, you won't.
