Ahhh cashmere I
love the soft feel of pure cashmere.A
truly unique pice of porn as well as cinematic art. This film is essentially
a collection of vignettes that capture the essence of the 50s and early
60s with a dream like quality. The imagery and high style that Ninn captures
is amazing, but even more amazingly he manages to get some very hot and
relatively hardcore performances at the same time.
Each scene generally
opens with a short musical introduction. These really aren't bad, and
compared to the effort but into music in most adult movies I would say
these mini music videos are amazing. These songs are all 60s doo wop pop
sound a likes. I have to say I really enjoyed the mood and feel of this
disc, Ninn does a superb job of creating this sex filled, silky, neon
drenched dream of the "Happy Days" era. Cashmere is described by Ninn
as his "essay" on Kylie and is apparently inspired by his real life childhood
memories. This is a fun and at times even campy film from Ninn, who usually
brings a much darker feel to his work.
To be fair this film
certainly will not appeal to everyone. So be warned as great as I think
a lot of the sex is in this one, it does play second fiddle to Ninn's
retro stylings. So if the 50s wigs and Daddy-O duds kill the mood stay
away I guess.

Ok Kylie is far from
my favorite star, but she does seem to fit this film and this scene quite
well. The setting for this 1on1 is just outside a neon lit drive-in theater's
concession window. Remember that 50s stereotypical bad boy in the black

Final Thoughts
It was very refreshing
to see something so original for a change in the world of porn, which
too often turns out cookie cutter films. Sure Ninn may over indulge a
little bit at times in the pursuit of style, however he still manages
to capture some excellent sex along the way. Personally if its great sex
I appreciate the effort to dress it up as stylishly as possible as long
as you don't lose sight of the reason your audience is watching in the
first place. I don't think Ninn has forgotten.
