A quick note on scene ratings - unlike many reviewers of different things who tend to rate "average" as 7/10. I rate average as 5/10, this makes 7/10 from me quite a bit above average, so bear this in mind.

This DVD features only girl/girl and solo girl scenes, mostly featuring dildoes. Anything notable will be mentioned by scene.

I remember watching this 4-part series as they came out on VHS back in the day and enjoying a few of them. I remember part 4 was a keeper at the time, and possibly part 2. There's been a lot of porn under the bridge since then though, so it'll be interesting to see how this title holds up nearly 10 years later.. I have to wonder though, why VCA has only released parts 1 and 4, and the comp DIVA Girls.

The opening credits nicely runs through what the scenes will be, and IDs the performers as it goes along. All of the audio is dubbed, and the action is shot with dropped frames, giving the video a kind of slow-motion effect, even when the action is frenetic. All of the women in the video have "perfect" heavy makeup, which looks good from a distance and less good once the camera gets in really close and you can see how thick the makeup is. Ah, the wonders of DVD, eh?

Scene 1: Girl/Girl: The Lesson

Overall this was a pretty damned good g/g DVD. Despite being shot in an arty style, similar to Andrew Blake and lacking true heat or immediacy, the action throughout was shot in a way that the aesthetics of the scenes made up for it. The girls' costumes were always well thought out, and their makeup and hair were very professionally done (though in the style of the mid-90's) and good-looking. The extreme closeups, as mentioned earlier did tend to show off the heavy makeup in a non-flattering way, something not as easily spotted on VHS which was the original target medium of this feature. Still, if you like the "Andrew Blake" style of porn, and like g/g porn, then this is a good one to pick up. Certainly the best of the few g/g DVDs I've seen.
