Review brief: In our chat with Peter North, Peter described one of his goals with the North Pole series:I try to focus on the chemistry between the talent and match up the right people. It's the thing that I thought was lacking in a lot of movies - where they were matching up characters instead of performers. They don't always put together couples together that have great physical chemistry.In North Pole 6, Peter definitely succeeded with the chemistry project. Bonita Saint and Steve Jagger look like an actual couple having sex. Charlie and Dante also have a great rapport. In fact, the only scene that wasnt chemically reactive was the opening with Peter, Jewel and Katie June. As Ive said before one person often looks left out in a threesome and when you have a real life couple and a performer who performs best when she is the center of attention (see Real Sex Mag 18), well you get the picture.North Pole 6 doesnt waste any time with dialog. Review brief: A typical adult movie with sex and a miniscule plot. The saving grace of this movie for me was Rebecca Lord. If the plot and scenes would have been worthy of Rebecca's talents then this would have been a great flick. She was casted as an angel which could have made for some interesting situations but as it turned out it wasn't capitalized on. I was expecting (wanting) much more but the ending left me puzzled why a better script wasn't used. If you've seen ever other movie or just love Rebecca Lord then I recommend you seeing this one.

Review brief: The Plot: Ah... Debbie. I grew up with the original Debbie Does Dallas, and I'm sure everyone remembers the wonderful sense of innocence gone awry that the first film produced. Well, you can forget all of that, because Debbie has been reincarnated in the form of Lexus, who looks more like a porn star than a cheerleader. Go figure. Clueless and innocence are not synonymous. But Debbie movies have plot! And what a plot it is, filled with determination, perseverance, and triumph of good over evil. Ah, who am I kidding? It's a porn plot, it doesn't have to make sense. Debbie's car breaks down while hauling her friends around town, and she takes it to the mechanic for him to work his magic on the poor Pontiac. Well, he pronounces it deceased, and Debbie spies the perfect replacement: an aging white & purple schoolbus. Debbie has this wild vision of her and her cheerleading friends riding around town, partying wherever they go, and generally getting into naked mischief.

Review brief: The Plot: What plot? It's a gonzo, so by definition we have no plot. There is this theme of someone with a handheld video camera peeking in windows and watching people have sex. It kind of runs like this: we start with a view from the handheld camera which apparently only shoots in black & white, and with a flashing "[REC]" in red in the corner. I suppose we are to believe that we are watching this through the viewfinder. We watch as our perverted cameraman approaches and films the characters in the scene getting within striking distance. At that point, we cut to a more traditional porno angle, and in color. Every now and then we cut back to the long shot from the "black and white" camera, just to remind you that someone is watching. The cameraman will duck around a bit, trying not to be seen, to add realism. Uh-huh. Sure. I'll admit it right now, I'm not a really big fan of gonzo. In fact, this is my first review of a gonzo film. Since I always include a plot section, I am a bit at a loss for what to say here. Let me just say that I miss my porn plot. Sigh.

Review brief: The Plot: Oh, how I love a movie with a plot! It doesn't have to be a completely consistent plot, but something with dialogue always gets my attention. And this movie has some great dialogue, most of it delivered by Tina Tyler. Stacy does her part very well, including an audition for Time Travelling Lobster Boy that is hilarious. Nikita and Vicca add a touch of the exotic in their few lines, and Randy Spears puts in a great performance as the workaholic husband. I apparently grew up with too much poorly acted porn, because I am continually amazed when I seen good performances, such as the ones in DMJ6. The tough part is describing the plot without laughing. This movie has some hilarious moments in it, most of them visual, some of them subtle, and a few that fall into "you just had to be there". We start our movie with Satan interviewing the newest catch, Buffy (Anita Cannibal). We flash back three days earlier where we see Buffy living in her trailer and ignoring her husband who works in the slaughterhouse.

Was it worth the wait? I guess. Was I disappointed? A little. At first, it's easy to be impressed with the bells & whistles VCA put into the DVD version of this flick. It starts out with a cool menu, and one doesn't really know where to start: Photo Gallery, Cast Info and Interviews (including the director), Scene Selection etc. are nothing new, but here we also get multiple angles, a behind-the-scenes segment and a director's commentary! I will come to this later in detail... let's get on with the film:Almost anyone would be blown away by the main title sequence.. though similar to the one in 'Ritual', it has a perfect music score and segues smoothly into the first scene of the movie, where we see the corpse of a man lying flat on his bed, two strange holes or burn marks in his temples.

Unfortunately, like most Blake and Cameron Grant films, the low quality transfer severely detracts from one of the best adult films of its era. Plot Synopsis: As is Andrew Blake's style, House of Dreams is a series of vignettes, or independent scenes, with very little plot and no dialogue. There's a very loose theme that ties all of the vignettes together, but otherwise, there's no plot. It's more like a hardcore photo fantasy, with beautiful women in beautiful surroundings.

Plot Synopsis: Cameron Grant, known for his elegant and beautifully photographed movies such as The Dinner Party and Elements of Desire, makes a radical departure from his signature work to direct what is essentially a gonzo video. Shameless Desire features several very well-known porn stars in six shot-on-video scenes. Each of the scenes are named, starting with "Tardy," with Jill Kelly and Eric Price.

Review brief: Cameron Grants Fantasy Chamber, shot on film, could have been an incredible DVD. Essentially its a collection of beautiful sex scenes. The performers are exceptionally attractive, the scenery is erotically intriguing, and the music is excitingly sensual. Sadly, the video quality is poor enough for me to notice. When lighting and camerawork are the main attributes of a movie, sharp video is imperative. That said, I still very much enjoyed some of the sex (and theres plenty of it!) While its unlike me to list out sex scenes in a review, its appropriate to this movie (and people keep telling me they want to know who screws who.) Review brief: The Plot: Oh, how I love a movie with a plot! It doesn't have to be a completely consistent plot, but something with dialogue always gets my attention. And this movie has some great dialogue, most of it delivered by Tina Tyler. Stacy does her part very well, including an audition for Time Travelling Lobster Boy that is hilarious. Nikita and Vicca add a touch of the exotic in their few lines, and Randy Spears puts in a great performance as the workaholic husband. I apparently grew up with too much poorly acted porn, because I am continually amazed when I seen good performances, such as the ones in DMJ6. The tough part is describing the plot without laughing. This movie has some hilarious moments in it, most of them visual, some of them subtle, and a few that fall into "you just had to be there". We start our movie with Satan interviewing the newest catch, Buffy (Anita Cannibal). We flash back three days earlier where we see Buffy living in her trailer and ignoring her husband who works in the slaughterhouse.

Was it worth the wait? I guess. Was I disappointed? A little. At first, it's easy to be impressed with the bells & whistles VCA put into the DVD version of this flick. It starts out with a cool menu, and one doesn't really know where to start: Photo Gallery, Cast Info and Interviews (including the director), Scene Selection etc. are nothing new, but here we also get multiple angles, a behind-the-scenes segment and a director's commentary! I will come to this later in detail... let's get on with the film:Almost anyone would be blown away by the main title sequence.. though similar to the one in 'Ritual', it has a perfect music score and segues smoothly into the first scene of the movie, where we see the corpse of a man lying flat on his bed, two strange holes or burn marks in his temples.

Unfortunately, like most Blake and Cameron Grant films, the low quality transfer severely detracts from one of the best adult films of its era. Plot Synopsis: As is Andrew Blake's style, House of Dreams is a series of vignettes, or independent scenes, with very little plot and no dialogue. There's a very loose theme that ties all of the vignettes together, but otherwise, there's no plot. It's more like a hardcore photo fantasy, with beautiful women in beautiful surroundings.

Sounds like it's going to be a soft and elegant title, right? Surprise! It's not what you think--it's actually a gonzo! Plot Synopsis: Cameron Grant, known for his elegant and beautifully photographed movies such as The Dinner Party and Elements of Desire, makes a radical departure from his signature work to direct what is essentially a gonzo video. Shameless Desire features several very well-known porn stars in six shot-on-video scenes. Each of the scenes are named, starting with "Tardy," with Jill Kelly and Eric Price.

Review brief: Cameron Grants Fantasy Chamber, shot on film, could have been an incredible DVD. Essentially its a collection of beautiful sex scenes. The performers are exceptionally attractive, the scenery is erotically intriguing, and the music is excitingly sensual. Sadly, the video quality is poor enough for me to notice. When lighting and camerawork are the main attributes of a movie, sharp video is imperative. That said, I still very much enjoyed some of the sex (and theres plenty of it!) While its unlike me to list out sex scenes in a review, its appropriate to this movie (and people keep telling me they want to know who screws who.) Thankfully the disc lists out acting credits by scene.1. Nicole Lace, Barbara Doll, Mark Davis apparently I havent watched enough porn cause I never before noticed what a great body Mark Davis has. Sometimes threesomes look like a couple with a third wheel. Not so in this mirror laden scene. All three beautiful bodies intermingle. The music (I guess its jazz) drowns out the moans a little too much, but its the perfect score for the scene.2.

Its not my favorite Kristen Bjorn title, but its hard to criticize a movie this good. As usual with KB you get tons of hot uncut men, in steamy sex scenes that are well-choreographed and gorgeously filmed. The cumshots are fast and furiousone every minute or two, it seems likewith each performer shooting multiple loads in each scene. If theres a problem, I guess its in the words well-choreographed. KB films are noted for their quality, but after a while the sex can seem a little too planned, as if everyones doing the assigned in-and-out with very little spontaneous heat.

Review brief: The Plot: Okay, get this: A group of aliens from another galaxy were sucked into Los Angeles during the 1994 earthquake, which was caused by the alien solar system and our aligning in a freak cosmic "oops". Now, they want to go home, but the device they're going to use to travel will cause another earthquake. That's okay, because the aliens plan on returning afterwards and ruling the rubble-strewn wasteland. Of course, no evil alien species would be complete without a weakness. Gee, what would a porn movie use as a weakness? You guessed it, the aliens need sex to survive! Damn, you would think that people who need sex to survive would be a hit in LA, but there is catch: It also appears that alien sex turns humans into mindless slaves. I think I dated her...
