Review brief: My first exposure to anime, La Blue Girl volumes 3 & 4, definitely caught my attention thus begins the quest for more anime. Thankfully, this DVD begins with an intro to anime for newbies like me. The About Anime explains that evolution of the big eyes, blue hair, high-pitched voices and other anime characteristics with an enticing graphical backdrop. Visually the entire disc is a pleasure to view: menus, movies, and trailers. With two stories (volumes) sandwiched between the intro and trailers, you definitely get enough bang for your buck.The bad guys early victory/ good guys save the day plot, made me think I was watching Saturday morning cartoons. The nudity, excessive fluids, masturbation, bondage and sex, however, took me out of that mind frame. Whats really intriguing about the female characters is the contrast of their big eyes, schoolgirl lifestyles and lack of pubic hair with their very, very womanly bodies.

Review brief: WET DREAMS (1998) Digital Playground Directed by Jon Yuma 85 minutes. This DVD purports to depict the fantasies of five of "porn's nastiest girls". While it falls way short of that premise, it does have its bright spots. The DVD contains 5 vignettes each one supposedly representing the fantasy of the girl. Poker Ante : Nici Sterling, Mark Davis, Wilde Oscar, Julian St. Jox Nici Sterling becomes the ante in the poker game - where the winner and the loser alike share the prize. The action is very fast paced and jumps from one scene to the next. After a short oral scene, the action shifts to the bed with only one of the studs performing (the others magically disappear). The sex is mediocre without any apparent signs of passion. Nici then has a DP scene with Julian and Mark, followed by a regular scene with Wilde Oscar and ending with a half-way decent facial.

Review brief: The Plot: You know, its a pity to start a review on such a downer, but this is really the failing point of the movie. The movie is supposedly about our favorite perpetually confused generation, with no role models and no goals in life, right? Being a member of the tail end of Generation X myself, I was hoping that this movie would have some people my age doing the old what have I done with my life? routine in a coffee shop. (This would, of course, lead to sex in the coffee shop.) I dont know what I was thinking. Its a porn movie, for nogs sake. This movie is completely devoid of any plot whatsoever. There is dialogue, there is some semblance of time passing linearly, but thats about it. Our plot follows the adventures of some apartment dwellers as they go through one day. We start with Tom Byron annoying the hell out of his neighbor Roxanne Hall by blasting his stereo and playing on his air guitar. We set up the fact that she cant work while he plays his music. Then, we jump jarringly to a photo shoot of Nikole Lace and Sindee Coxx, who are performing for Alec Metro.

More companies should should take more notice of this and give us great looking transfers like this title does. It's not a perfect transfer, but it's great. As far as music, there are only actual R&B and other fine quality music which are played in these intros that have nothing to do with sex. These intros are to set the mood. What I thought about this? Awesome. But as far as having porn music in the sexual scenes, there is no tunes. Just the sounds of breathing, slapping, and banging. Perfect. Review brief: My first exposure to anime, La Blue Girl volumes 3 & 4, definitely caught my attention thus begins the quest for more anime. Thankfully, this DVD begins with an intro to anime for newbies like me. The About Anime explains that evolution of the big eyes, blue hair, high-pitched voices and other anime characteristics with an enticing graphical backdrop. Visually the entire disc is a pleasure to view: menus, movies, and trailers. With two stories (volumes) sandwiched between the intro and trailers, you definitely get enough bang for your buck.The bad guys early victory/ good guys save the day plot, made me think I was watching Saturday morning cartoons. The nudity, excessive fluids, masturbation, bondage and sex, however, took me out of that mind frame. Whats really intriguing about the female characters is the contrast of their big eyes, schoolgirl lifestyles and lack of pubic hair with their very, very womanly bodies.
