review from 5/15/2019:
A smooth-talking, San Francisco card dealer, Herschel Savage, finds himself caught up in a diabolical, murderous plot of world domination, when he's hired by Jamie Gillis and his enigmatic mistress, Jacqueline Lorians, to seek out a magical book of prophecies originally sealed by God due to its extraordinary power. Little does Hersch know, however, but a group of aphrodisiac-wielding, Nazi relics from World War II--now hiding out in South America--are also after the tome, as they intend to employ it in reestablishing the glory that was their cherished Third Reich. Such is the case in "Blue Ice", an exceptional--albeit quirky and somewhat bizarre--1985 release from director Phil Marshak and Vinegar Syndrome. [read the full review]

review from 4/16/2016:
Blue Ice is an incredibly fun adult film from the mid-80s. The film has a definite 80s vibe to it and while the story doesn't always make sense, the film never fails to entertain as the story unfolds. The cast does a great job with this one and the sex is enjoyable. Vinegar Syndrome has done a great job with this Blu-ray/DVD combo package. [read the full review]

Proving that you sometimes have to give some head to get ahead, Shanna McCullough uses her beauty and sexual prowess to make her way in the cut-throat, corporate world. Unfortunately for her, this includes mixing herself up in a high-end, pay-for-sex ring run after-hours out of her office that quickly jeopardizes her legit career. Such is the case in "Barbara Dare's Affairs" (a.k.a. "Corporate Affairs"), a very good, 1986 release from Gourmet Video and director Carlos DeSantos. [read the full review]

"Prom Girls" is a very good (strong 4-star) late-80s film from director Alex DeRenzy that focuses on the high jinks of the students at an academy as they prepare for their upcoming prom...and also on the attempts of the mucky-mucks at the school to try to curtail their good times. Director: various Genre: compilation, rustic theme Running: 1 hr 50 min Condoms: in most scenes Barnyard Babes suspiciously sounds like a beast sex movie. We've got some babes and some barnyards, even some horses thrown into the mix. But don't worry, the latter is just part of the decor! *Neigh!* Dolorian with Evan Stone Boxcover babe Dolorian is a gorgeous gal. Never seen or heard of her before but she fucks just as good as she looks. The naughtytalk pours bountifully throughout the scene, often in closeup cuts on her lovely face as she talks to us: "Do you wanna see my pussy all wet, the juices leaking down my tight little hole?... Do you like looking at my tight little slit? Do you like it when I fuckin' gag? Do you wanna watch the cum drip down my chin?" That's just a small taste of the glorious mindfuck she gives us with her lascivious linguistics. [read the full review]

Overall rating: 4 Female looks: 3.5 (Teri's overindulgence in silicone is a disappointment) Male looks: 4 Sex: 3.5 (This would've been 4 but for the first scene which really spoiled the record) Plot/Acting: 4 Extras: 4 A//V quality: 4 Condom use: Yes The opening scene shows silicone-endowed Angelique (Teri Weigel) alone on a large bed in a brick-lined artist's studio. Her body is covered intriguingly in dramatic red writing and she masturbates with genuine, unrestrained abandon to a very vocal orgasm, the writing on her body smudging to illegible blur. Her enthusiasm was contagious and it was a scene that piqued my curiousity and raised expectations of a plot with a hint of artistic angst that might just offer something to arouse the mind as well. 'Angelique' is an artist, a photographer in the process of putting together her first public exhibition. I won't dwell on the plot beyond saying that it is sufficiently believable and flowing to satisfy anyone looking for context and story in their porn. [read the full review]

review from 1/16/2004:
Description This is a comedy feature with a space travel theme, directed by Jonathan Morgan. The plot involves princess Stormy fleeing evil overlord Mike Horner and his sidekicks Kyle and Devinn, with the help of her protectors, Randy and Evan. General Impression This is a truly funny parody of just about every space-themed tv show or movie that I've seen. The humor is closest in temperament to the smirky, wry Mystery Science Theater 3000. The budget for this feature was $200,000 -- about six times the amount that Morgan is usually given. No expense was spared, and it shows in the impressive costumes, stage sets, special effects, and makeup. I found it thoroughly enjoyable, and would recommend it to friends. Several of the actors did a particularly fine job, Evan Stone, Devinn Lane, Mike Horner, and Randy Spears among them. Mike was working under a prosthetic mask, and was still able to deliver priceless facial expressions. But Devinn was our favorite, spirited and sumptuous as the Dark Witch. [read the full review]

review from 7/5/2003:
Jezebelle Bond, I wrote in my notes for the first scene of Wickeds Second Chance, smiles like a whore whose only thought is to get Steven St. Croix off; she never comes close on her own. Little did I know the reason for that when I watched the scene. Director Jim Enright cleared it up for me later as I perused this discs Behind the Scenes featurette. Turns out that Ms. Bond appears here in her first ever boy/girl scene on camera. And thats an interesting fact, I think, but it didnt make me like the scene any better. However, I will say in her defense that Jezebelles performance isnt the worst thing in this movie. Written by Melissa Monet, this is the story of John, an old man (he looks to be in his 50s) whos just buried his best buddy, Harry. Or thinks he has. What John doesnt know is that his friends death was a sham, cooked up to provide him a second chance at lifein a younger body, with a successful career and all the women he can handle. review from 4/16/2003:
Forty-one year old Randy Spears (looking exactly like 41-year-old Randy Spears) begins Wickeds Best Friends as a college student preparing to leave for med school. April Flowers, his much younger-looking best friend, is worried that they may never see each other again. Written by Melissa Monet, this is the story, told vignette-style, of the ups and downs of their relationship over a period of several years, during which Randy gets married, has a couple of kids, and gets divorced, and April experiments with lesbian love, takes up with kinky Eric Masterson, and dumps him when she catches him screwing around with the couple next door. Its the story of two best friends who go their separate ways only to wind up together again, unattached, and mature enough to finally admit their love for one another. Thats the story, all right. Of course, its crap. Its crap because all the interesting stuff happens off-screen. Well, not all of it; Ill get to that later. Randys first sex scene is with Aria and it takes place on their wedding night. [read the full review]

review from 4/7/2003:
Description This is a lightweight Wicked Feature with condom use. General Impression The plot isn't particularly well-integrated with the sex, and seems to contradict it in one scene. The sex is good, but doesn't have a lot of chemistry. Sex April, Stormy, and Olivia Saint kick it off with a pussy-eating and dildo-wielding threesome. Just as we always expected, this is how college girls unwind during a big study session. Lite jazz plays as the girls show some genuine enthusiasm, and they get to mewing like a basketful of kittens. This scene was nicely done. The second scene, with Randy Spears and Aria, is the one that clashed with the plot. Randy confides in April that Aria has held out for their wedding night, and refers to himself as 'Dr. Blue-balls.' And as soon as they get into the honeymoon sweet, Aria is apologetic about making him wait all those years. She then demonstrates the oral skills of a very enthusiastic and practiced call girl, grinds him in a non-virginal way, and calls out, "Fuck that ass!" as he takes her anally. [read the full review]

review from 2/26/2003:
Expectations My recent experience with Jim Enright movies has been less than stellar. Let's hope this one is better. Capsule Review This one is par for the course. A basically boring, plot heavy porno piece with very little attention to the heat of the sex. I don't understand why April, who is a very sexy piece, can't turn it up a notch when it comes to sex. Of course, she's in good company here since only the first two scenes radiate any heat at all. Technical While the technical camera work and audio are satisfactory, the movie is uniformly too dark and dreary. Director Jim Enright Extras Making of, interviews, bloopers, photo gallery, bios, trailers Target Audience Feature fans Scene Review Warning: There is extensive condom use in this feature. Scene 1 - April, Olivia Saint & Stormy The three girls are in the bedroom. They start to get frisky. Each of them gets naked, but Stormy's amazing tits steal the scene. Olivia and April lick on Stormy before Olivia straps on a dildo to fuck April. [read the full review]

review from 2/29/2004:
What sets apart classic porn movies from fodder? Whats Up Doc is a perfect example of the latter. What could have been a classic instead is trash can material because of director Jack Remys use of trite dialogue, lousy camera work, and terrible editing. The cast includes some of the best ladies in porn history Britt Morgan, Ariel Knight, and Shanna McCullough. Renee Morgan is also present and, although she never won rave reviews for her performances, I always thought she was sexy/slutty as hell. Throw in Mike Horner, Randy West, and Scott Irish and you have the ingredients for a fine little fuck flick. Instead we get the hackneyed, traditional lame script (the setting is a hospital), poor acting (blame the director), and by-the-numbers sex. The cameraman must have visited the local bar for several hours before he set up his camera for this one. He is all over the place, except for on the action. As the opening credits roll, Shanna is blowing Randy. Shes good, and Randy is loving it. But they cut away from the action before he finishes. [read the full review]

When a group of alien mermaids led by Taija Rae finds that the Earth's water is too polluted for their health, they need to leave...pronto. Unfortunately, one of their kind, Vanessa D'Oro, is enjoying the sex on the planet far too much to join them, despite the fact that it will mean her demise. So, as any good alien mermaid leader would, Taija seeks out the help of the rough-around-the-edges good guy, John Leslie--who's apparently a "mermaid whisperer" of sorts--to help. Despite a bad case of amnesia, pussy and sex still manage to gravitate toward John Leslie (reprising his role as the smooth-talking, hard-fucking "Jack"), even if it's in a hospital environment and it involves his nurse. Absolutely smoking is probably the best way to describe John Leslie''s "Goin'' Down Slow", an exceptional 1988 release from the actor/director and VCA. Sure, it has a plot--a pretty good one, in fact, involving a nosey, peeping neighbor (Ona Zee), a letter to an adult magazine columnist (Robert Bullock), cheating all around, and even murder and betrayal--but the storyline just can''t help but seem secondary to the blazing hot sex that abounds. Indeed, rife with tension, intensely erotic setups, and stunning beauties, the action in this one truly hits the mark in just about every spot. [read the full review]

review from 8/10/2005:
"Goin' Down Slow", John Leslie's second directorial effort after "Nightshift Nurses" is a very different kind of adult film. It has a huge emphasis on storyline and style, rather than sex, which at times makes some of the sexual scenarios seem pointless or uninteresting. The plot itself is amazing: Ironic, full of twists and turns, and unpredictable. It is the porn equivalent of a Hitchcock movie. Ona Z plays a lonely woman who likes to watch her neighbor Ellen's (Shanna McCullough) daily trysts with lover George Anton (John Leslie). Ona's in love with George and thinks that he should be hers. Ellen is married to Martin (Robert Bullock), an advice columnist who goes under the name "Madame Rona". George is Martin's boss. Kathleen Gentry plays Martin's secretary and Joey Silvera plays a photography. Later, when a murder is committed, all of these characters come into play. What happens, I will not say, but I will say that John Leslie makes no easy assumptions. There are a fair amount of sex scenes, but none of them are very long or memorable. [read the full review]

If you haven't gotten around to reading this until the winter or summer, then you can also feel comfortable knowing that Christmas and Independence Day aren't such bad occasions to watch it either. In fact, any excuse you can conjure is as good as any to watch well made porn. Pornogothic is one of those rare movies that balance plot with sex, and actually pays attention to the details. I-Candy's DVD release of Insatiable was really well done, with obvious time and attention spent on it. A DVD well worth buying. Now I personally always prefered Insatiable II, so when I saw that I-Candy had released it on DVD I jumped at the chance to buy it. What a mistake. This DVD is almost the exact opposite of the Insatiable DVD release. The menus were obviously quickly thrown together, with a quality so poor that the DVD creators should be embarassed to have their names associated with it (e.g. menu selections indicated by an ugly big handrawn single color red X next to the item). There are no extras to speak of, there's no time code on the movie, and for some reason the movie plays horizontally squished to 50 of it's proper width (imagine the reverse of letterbox) on my Pioneer DVD player, on which I've played hundreds of DVDs and NEVER before seen this effect. And worst of all, the movie is missing LARGE segments from the original release for no percievable reason. [read the full review]

review from 1/10/2005:
"A Gay Man's Take on Straight Porn" I have to say, I think "Double Feature" is one of the few pornos that could actually have a chance in the mainstream. This movie works very well as a comedy, and yet still has some very well done, although not always all that daring, sex. Movie Content: Other reviews have gone through this movie scene by scene, so I'll just do a general overview. The first feature that we see is a Sci-Fi spoof, with three female aliens coming down, and turning the men of earth in to sex slaves. This is the better of the two featured stories when it comes to comedy, but the weaker of the two when it comes to sex. There are really no stand out sex scenes in this section, although the scene with Jewel D'nyle and Herschal Savage is fairly hot, and you can tell that both of them are in to it. The rest of the scenes are fairly vanilla. Although there are two group scenes in this part, both of them fall a little flat. The first group scene has two of the aliens take on two hicks (aliens always go for hicks). [read the full review]

review from 11/29/2001:
Double Feature! has four parts to it, the first part of which being the opening previews. The next two parts are spoofs of science fiction genre films. With the final part being outtakes. Double Feature! is funny and worth watching. Wicked Pictures has done a nice job with their DVD release of Double Feature! [read the full review]

review from 2/12/2006:
"Bobby Sox" is a type of porn film that goes under the category: One of Paul Thomas' worth watching films. I say that since P.T. is one of the most hit-and-miss directors in the business. But when he's good, man is he good. This movie, along with the original "Masseuse" will go down in my head as masterpieces. Sadly, however, this movie has been hacked to pieces by any current VHS or DVD versions of the movie (especially the VHS, but the DVD has some of the choppiest editing I've ever seen). review from 4/27/2018:
Consumed with a case that ultimately led to his father's demise, that of the "Femme Fatale" serial killer, a police detective (Vince Voyeur) finds himself slipping further and further into the bottle...and obsession. Helping him make sense of it all--and generally concerned for him--is his trustworthy and stunningly beautiful partner, Shanna McCullough, who's ready to stick by him until the end. Of course, just how that "end" will end up is the driving force of the film and remains entirely up in the air. Such is the case in "Looker", a very good, 1998 release from Pleasure and director Nic Cramer. [read the full review]

Running Time: 83 min. Production Date: 10 / 10 / 1997 Director: Nic Cramer (who also wrote the story) Cast: Lauren Montgomery, Shanna McCullough, Silvia Saint, Erika Bella, Jacklyn Lick, Vince Voyeur, Ian Daniels, Mickey G., Hakan Serbes, and Steve Hatcher Initial Expectations: Ive heard very good things about the movie, so I have fairly high expectations. Initial Reaction: Its very good. Its almost as good as many of Wicked and VCAs titles. Audio /Video Quality: Looker was shot on film, which, as far as I know, is typical of most of Nic Cramers movies. Since its shot on film there is some grain but its not too bad. Theres just enough grain that you notice it. For being shot on film its about as little grain as Ive seen in an adult movie. The audio is well balanced, although there are a couple flaws in the movie. Theyre not that noticeable and the audio synchs very well throughout the movie. Music: The music varies some in style to match the scene. [read the full review]

Overall thoughts; *The acting is a little weak in places (I was particularly not impressed w/ Julie Ashton's passionless attempts in the period scenes) *There's lot's of talking during sex, not I am a fan of this but this was almost too much *All the scenes are hot *Great camera angles, very well executed *Nice flow to the plot *Thumbs down to anal in every scene *It was nice not to have predictable cum shots in each scene *Kudos on the costuming, hair/makeup and continuity to the film *A quality production Intro- Very classy, slow, sexy shots, music written by a Lauren Alexander fits very nicely. Scene 1-Home Coming We open to a scene portrayed sometime around 1860. Here we suffer through a bit of bad "period speak and our first encounter with Julie Ashton's attempt at a passionate dialogue. We go into "Sarah", Shanna McCullough giving "Daniel", Tyce Bune, her returned from the war husband a sponge bath which very delicately turns to a B.J as he tells her how it "eases his pain". review from 7/18/2000:
For my money, VCA remains the leader in the DVD market when it comes to high quality transfers of their back video catalog. Despite their mandatory condoms policy and use of the multiple angles graphic in many of their releases, VCA is synonymous for hot sex featuring their gorgeous contract women, so the consumer can hardly go wrong with their line of DVDs. Of course some movies are better than most, and in the case of the LOVE'S PASSION, some are merely above average. [read the full review]

review from 6/3/2023:
Trading in his iconic glove and sweater for a big dick and a trench coat, the pervy "Eddie" (Randy Spears) terrorizes a group of (adult) high school students by taking over their dreams...and fucking them. Indeed, the sex-obsessed janitor, who passed away tragically in a laboratory fire at the school, adopts various forms (himself, a teacher, a friend''s mother, and so on) as he invades his victims'' reverie and shows them a nightmarishly good time. The only way to win...and to keep from becoming oversexed and sleep-deprived? To beat him at his own game. So goes "Nightmare on Porn Street", a good, 1988 parody of the iconic horror flick of the same era and similar title from director Scotty Fox and Moonlight Entertainment. [read the full review]
