This is a very different release with Erica McLean embracing the circus aspect of the title perhaps a little too much. The sex is a bit hit or miss, but also has some nice spots of fun including a great scene between Lee Stone and Madison Scott. The technical aspects are nicely done and there's some good effort put into the extras with a nicely done behind the scenes featurette (but the three bonus scenes listed on the back cover are nowhere to be found on the release). Waterpower is a bizarre film to come from Shaun Costello that has an even more bizarre release history. The TLA Entertainment Exclusive DVD contains two versions of the film on the disc. One called the original version and one called the director's cut. Neither is, to the best of my knowledge either the original version or the director's cut. The video quality is very good on the original version and varies from very good to poor in the director's cut. As of now, The Historic Erotica version appears to be the best release of Waterpower to have come out as of yet, but hopefully someday a definitive version will get released. [read the full review]

Alektra and Tommy are the two who are making this decision and they each have 'best' friends who take them to a club for easy rebound sex which is exactly what they don't want. But it ends up with them meeting and having a torrid finale at Alektra's pad. In between that we get a few scenes which show just how the two got to where they were. Tori Black is fantastic as a bride to be who bangs out the best man before she was going to marry Tommy-- he walks in, you get the idea. You get solid scenes from Anthony Rosano being blown by Regan Reese who later does a good one with Jack Lawrence aka the Professor. Also there's a fine finale with Gilligan hooking up with Ginger and MaryAnne-- this was the best hook up of cast members but you should also enjoy Mrs. Howell's anal romp with the Skipper!
