Peek Freak (Cal Vista) Review

PEEK FREAK (1985, Cal Vista International, VCX-Cal Vista Classic re-release, 2008) is a wacky, poorly dubbed, classic xxx title that's sort of a cross between Hitchcock's Rear Window and that Seinfeld episode, The Contest, I believe it's called, where Jerry and Kramer spy on a beautiful woman across from Jerry's apartment.

Here, a Euro-hippie couple, Bruno (Jean-Louis) and his photog wife, Helene (Robin Sellers) spot a beautiful woman masturbating in a room across the street. Helene naturally shoots a few pix of the woman then puts down her camera so an overly excited Bruno can doggy-fuck her---!!!

Helene snoops around and discovers that the mystery woman staying at the Hotel des Voyageurs across the street is a rich, Swedish woman, Greta. (Dawn Cumming, a cute gal with short brown hair, beautiful eyes, small boobs with sexy puffy nipples) The duo continue spying on the nympho Greta as she fucks and sucks a number of individual guys, a gorgeous dark haired gal with a strap-on plus takes on a couple of guys at once. Voyeurs Helene and Bruno get pretty excited by all of this action, which leads to sucking and fucking sessions of their own. This well-shot and edited series of sexual encounters (that also includes a brief but memorable dream sequence) warrant !!! 1/2

Against Bruno's initial wishes, Helene finally breaks their silence and talks to Greta on the telephone. Via phone calls, Helene arranges for Greta to pick up folks in the courtyard of the hotel and take them to her room so that they can watch her in action.

Helene tricks a snobby but cute client, Jacqueline, into hooking up with Greta for some g/g action across the street, then afterwards, the duo take their turn fucking Jacqueline in their apartment. It's a really fun sequence with a well-endowed gal playing Jacqueline (Debra Halbert?)---!!! 1/2

Later, Greta brings up a young couple to her room---!!!, that so excites the duo across they street that they decide they must finally hook-up with Greta and they do for a sometimes dark sexual encounter with Bruno mish-fucking Helene while a strap-on wearing Greta doggy-fucks Bruno as part of the action---!!!

Helene and Greta talk on the phone about their sexual encounter, then Greta reveals that she's moving back home, which saddens horny Helene and poor Bruno, who laments "it was like a dream."

PEEK FREAK ends with a sexually comedic twist ending---!!! 1/2 that's sure to please.

Hard to tell exactly who made this flick or where it was made or even when it was made. I loved the non-stop parade of sexual enounters as Greta plays with herself or fucks somebody that ignites the passions, which lead voyeurs Bruno and Helene to fuck each other.

The horrible dubbing in English hurts this 84 minute feature that otherwise has much to recommend. So, PEEK FREAK (1985, Cal Vista International, VCX-Cal Vista Classic re-release, 2008) receives a final rating of !!! 1/2 outa !!!!! for this wildly voyeuristic and mostly comedic sex tale.
