Review:
"Sensuous Vixens" chronicles the life of a young woman (played by the "original porn star" herself, the lovely Tina Russell) who moved to New York City at an early age and who bounces from odd job to odd job in trying to find both her place and her way in the world. Of course, this being a porno, those odd jobs all end up possessing a strong sexual component, and Tina ultimately finds herself on the path toward the world of adult films. Whether she'll find success, true love, or even true lust there remains fully up in the air and is the question of the day. Such is the case in this very good, 1971 release from Freddie Williams and VCX that offers up a young Tina Russell in her prime, along with a distinctly early-70's pornographic vibe...all done to excellent effect. Feeling almost like a number of related loops strung together with a common theme and heartily enhanced with (likely pirated) hard rocking tunes, everything pretty much flows together perfectly in this one. While the plot itself is relatively light and advanced primarily through narration, the raw grittiness of the sex, the strength of the camerawork, and the overall atmosphere are simply dripping with naughty nostalgia. Indeed, if one were to envision what an early-1970's porn film should be like, it would likely come very close to this one. It hits it just right. As such, for fans of the Golden Age, Tina Russell (if you're not, you should be...don't let her be forgotten), and old school funk-and-fuck, this one should be right up your alley. Check it out. It's worthy and then some. Hands down and dicks up, it's a winner!

In terms of the sex, Scene One finds the beautiful Ms. Tina Russell (RIP) as a photographer who's photographing a nude session involving the blonde Barbara Benner and two male models, Russ Carlson and Jason Russell. There's a bit of a make-out session between the models, with a touch of cock-stroking by Barbara, but it isn't long before things start going too far, and she gets pissed and leaves the room. While the afro guy does eat her out a bit, this one is primarily a Reams / Benner coupling, with the renowned cocksman pounding her out vaginally. Scene Five finds the brunette beauty, Betty Bombed, masturbating upon a bed for the camera, before a long-haired, blonde chick joins her. Of course, they go at it sensually, pleasuring one another orally in a 69 position and also with a vibrator. Scene Seven brings together Tina Russell, Jutta David, and Russ Carlson in a tumultuous threeway in their swag, 70s bedroom. Scene Ten doesn't really fit in with the rest of the film and appears to be cut in from another source.
