Vinegar Syndrome has done an absolutely stunning job with their DVD release of Roger Guermantes 1971 film Dark Dreams. Unfortunately, the film, itself, isn't that good. Dark Dreams is a horror/adult feature film hybrid which is a dream-based film. Even when the viewer reaches the end of the film, the plot makes little sense and the film is very erratically edited with some less than erotic sex scenes. Impulse Pictures has done a decent job with the release, all of the loops included are in good shape but unfortunately the only identification they have been given is their original name.
