Summary
“The Lifestyle” is a clever and fun look by its director, Stormy Daniels, into how one fictitious couple overcame a serious state of sexual boredom. The plot is advanced through an interesting, retrospective mechanism that is coupled with direct narration by the lead (Stormy Daniels), non-sex cut-scenes that are often comical, and five full sex scenes that cover a wide range of sexual possibilities. In terms of the sex, the third scene—which involves a three-way between Roxy DeVille, Carolyn Reese, and Evan Stone, and the last scene—which involves an orgy featuring a wide variety of activities (including anal sex), are definitely the best. Still, none of the other three scenes are bad—ranging from good to quite good and involving more typical boy-girl and girl-girl pairings. Overall, I would highly recommend this film to anyone who is looking for fun, couples-friendly-yet-still-erotic porn / erotica that features enough of a plot to keep things rolling (and often funny) between the various instances of sex.

The Plot:
The plot revolves around how Stormy Daniels and her onscreen husband, Tony DeSergio, overcame the sexual doldrums of marriage that they had previously been experiencing. It is largely advanced through Stormy speaking to the viewer directly, through various non-sex cut-scenes that are often of a comedic nature, and through five actual sex scenes that range from simple boy-girl action (Scene One) to a full-on orgy (Scene Five). A friendly couple, played by Kaylani Lei and Voodoo, serves as the catalyst that brought Stormy and her husband into “The Lifestyle” (swinging), and their progression from boring to adventurous is fully-documented in an interesting, retrospective style. All in all, the plot has its clever, chuckle-worthy moments and also serves to give this production a good deal more momentum than is found in a lot of adult films these days.

Inserting the Disc / Main Menu
Upon inserting the disc, the standard text-based information screens play, followed by trailers for two upcoming Wicked productions—“Always and Forever” (with jessica drake) and “Predator III” (with Stormy Daniels). Following this, there is an animated logo that plays and then the Main Menu comes up. Here, we find four options: “Play Movie”, “Chapters”—a standard scene selection mechanism, “Special Features”—which will be covered at the end of this review, and the “Trailer for The Lifestyle”—which is as its namesake would indicate. As per standard operating procedure, let’s go with the “Play Movie” option.

Opening Credits
The opening credits follow an animated logo and consist of clips from the movie done largely in an artsy freeze-frame style with cuts to text-based screens featuring the various names of the actors and actresses. The opening credits appear to be identical to the trailer for the production.

Sex Scene One (Stormy Daniels and Tony DeSergio)
This scene involves Stormy Daniels, the director and star of the film, with her onscreen husband, Tony DeSergio. The action takes place more or less in the present (plot-wise) in a bedroom containing a bed with a black, gray, and white comforter on it. Stormy starts out in a yellow-and-white striped shirt, a white skirt, a yellow lacy bra, and no panties. Physically, Stormy is a curvy blonde who has fairly large, enhanced breasts and whose womanhood has a tightly-trimmed patch above shaven lips. She is a megastar of the adult film industry and is looking in top form here.

Overall, this is a good scene, though it doesn’t really rise to the level of being great. It’s certainly worth a watch, but—sexually—it is fairly standard fare. It’s always good to see Stormy in action, however, and she certainly doesn’t disappoint, either.

Sex Scene Two (Kaylani Lei and Voodoo)
This scene involves Kaylani Lei, a thin, Asian actress, and her onscreen partner, Voodoo. The action takes place in Stormy’s and Tony’s laundry room, and it occurs in the past (plot-wise). Kaylani is dressed in a gray, sleeveless top and a black miniskirt to start things out. Physically, she possesses perky, natural breasts, and she has her pierced womanhood shaved but for a tightly-trimmed / whiskered triangle just above her lips.

Overall, this scene is also good but not great. Kaylani and Voodoo do make for a good pair, and Kaylani—as is typical—appears to be into the action. While certainly not a bad scene, this one—like the first—is largely standard fare.

This scene is a hot three-way between Roxy DeVille—a fan-favorite brunette, Carolyn Reese—a curvy blonde, and Evan Stone—one of the better actors in the adult film industry. The action here takes place on a white sofa and is supposed to be from an adult film that Stormy and Tony are watching in the past (plot-wise) as a means of attempting to liven up their then-stagnant sex life. Both Roxy and Carolyn start off the scene in shiny, gold bikinis that accentuate their bodies quite nicely. Physically, Roxy has perky, natural breasts and her womanhood is shaved other than a landing strip above her lips, while Carolyn has larger, natural(?) breasts, shaved lips, and a trimmed triangle of pubic hair. All of the participants here are stunning.

The sex in this scene is nicely varied and includes some unique positions. The action takes place in the past (plot-wise), in front of an audience, and in a living room-like area with light-blue leather furniture, including a light-blue cushion in the center of the room. It is upon this cushion that the sex takes place. Mackenzee starts out in red evening dress-like attire, and Jayme kicks things off in a black with white polka-dots evening dress-like outfit and a white thong. Physically, Mackenzee is tan and has nice-sized, enhanced breasts and a shaved / pierced womanhood, while Jayme has a creamier skin hue, a landing strip, and perky, enhanced breasts. Both women are looking quite good.

In terms of the sex, both ladies eat each other out, and there is some finger-play that goes on, as well. Though I am generally not a big fan of lesbian scenes in porn, this one really works out well. Perhaps it is the way that it is captured, or the energy of the participants, or simply the fact that there is an audience present, but whatever it is, this segment of the disc is really quite good. Indeed, this is definitely worth a look.

This scene is an orgy scene involving six actresses and a number of guys. There is literally too much going on in this scene to account for it all, so I will focus on an overview and some of the highlights. There is girl-girl action present, boy-girl action present, and there is oral, vaginal, and even anal sex that takes place. All of the actresses have vaginal sex, except for Kaylani, who only does some blowjob work and girl-girl fingering. Adrianna takes a scorching, anal-piledriver pounding, and Nicole is anally penetrated in a well-captured reverse-cowgirl position. Overall, this is the best scene on the DVD, and it is super-hot. The action—which is varied and features a number of very attractive participants—is well-captured, and the heat is off-the-charts. The fact that there is some anal action thrown in by a couple of the more-accommodating actresses is a major plus. There is nothing bad—and everything good—to say about this scene.

Bonus Materials / Other Options
The bonus materials / other options are accessible from the Main Menu via the “Special Features” choice. Here, we find a “Photo Gallery”, which provides us with a slideshow of stills from the DVD, as well as a “Promo Reel”, which features glamour shots of, posing by, and introductions of the various Wicked contract performers. There’s a “More Adult Fun” option, which plays through various phone sex / text sex ads. There’s also a “Trailers” option, which allows the viewer to choose from six different Wicked trailers (all of which are associated with Stormy Daniels). These are different than the two that opened up the DVD. There’s a “DVD-ROM Materials” choice that one can use on one’s computer. Finally, there is a “Bonus Sex Scene…” that involves Stormy Daniels and Sascha and can be found in the DVD, “Price of Lust”. This scene takes place in a nasty bathroom and features boy-girl action. One notable omission—particularly for those who might be interested in the adult film industry in more than just a passing fashion—is the lack of a behind the scenes (BTS) segment. While this option would be a nice plus, it isn’t fully necessary, however.
