Behind the Scenes Of an Adult Movie Review

VCX has re-released a documentary, BEHIND THE SCENES OF AN ADULT MOVIE (1984 Cal Vista) in standard frame format with narration, interviews and a bunch of scenes from classic triple xxx films of the late 1970s and the early 1980s.

In a certain sense, BEHIND THE SCENES serves as a BTS to the classic title EXPOSE ME NOW (1982) as this disc includes the shooting of some of those scenes and some casting and preparation for that film. (click on T0MBOne above for a review of EXPOSE ME NOW)

Many cast members from EXPOSE ME NOW are all on hand for interviews in this documentary: Ron Jeremy, Hershel Savage, Don Fernando, K. C. Valentine, and a topless Brooke Bennett, showing off her tremendous natural boobs.

The most interesting bit about the making of EXPOSE ME NOW occurs when a first timer can't get a hard on for his scene with Danielle. The filmmakers shoot the scene anyway but in a simulated, soft core sense, with the intention of inserting xxx footage into the final scene that appears in the film. In this case, after a lunch break, the director brings in Richard Pacheco and re-shoots an entirely new scene. The finished product is included in the documentary.

Ron Jeremy also interviews Samantha Fox and Veronica Hart, who, by now, have opinions of the porn industry and are thinking about their future. Samantha Fox's peformance in the back seat of a moving car from THE LOVE SYNDROME is also included here. (click on T0MBOne for a bad review)

Other xxx scenes include the cat fight/lesbo scene between Georgia Spelvin and Jessie St. James from EASY, (click on T0MBOne for a review) a suck and fuck session between Dorothy Lemay, Chris Cassidy, and a bunch of guys in a pool hall from GARAGE GIRLS, plus a blow job scene and orgy scene that features John Leslie and Suzanne French.

BEHIND THE SCENES OF AN ADULT MOVIE (1984, VCX-Standard frame re-release, 2008) is an okay documentary. It throws in a some scenes from other films while mostly featuring actors and actresses and behind the scenes stuff from EXPOSE ME NOW. Final rating is !! 1/2 outa !!!!! Extras include two scenes from EXPOSE ME NOW, VCX trailers, bonus scenes and legendary tribute.
