Making Amends Review

Summary
“Making Amends” by Wicked Pictures is an excellent film that features a stirring plot and an all-star cast. With Mikayla Mendez, Tori Black, Kirsten Price, Brooke Banner, and Alektra Blue all onboard, it’s hard to see how this couldn’t be a winner. Throw in an excellent, potentially-tragic storyline featuring a mean-spirited, cheating businessman played by Randy Spears, and it’s guaranteed to be excellent. Indeed, this film serves as a refreshing break from the monotony that has crept into a good deal of adult productions in the recent past. While there is no anal sex presented here, the sex that is put forth is more than hot enough to make up for it, and the production values in this endeavor are absolutely top-of-the-line. If you are looking for plot-driven porn with hot sex, it doesn’t get much better than this.

The Plot
The plot of this DVD is one of its strongest points—that and the actual sex. It revolves around a businessman (Randy Spears) who is both a cheater at work and at home. He has multiple mistresses (Tori Black and Alektra Blue are two of them); he is awful to his wife (Mikayla Mendez); he is horrible to his secretary (Kirsten Price); and he is shady and underhanded with a business associate (Brad Armstrong) who needs money. After his nefarious ways catch up with him and his wife throws him out, he ends up in a car accident that turns him into a changed man…or so it appears. I won’t go any further, as the ending would be given away, but let’s just say that the plot here keeps the viewer guessing to the end and works quite well with the sex scenes of the production. I am really beginning to like this director’s work.

Inserting the Disc / Main Menu
Upon inserting the disc, the standard text-based information screens play, followed by trailers for two upcoming Wicked productions—“Reform School Girls #5” and “Whack Job”. Following this, there is an animated logo that plays and then the Main Menu comes up. Here, we find four options: “Play Movie”, “Chapters”—a standard scene selection mechanism, “Special Features”—which will be covered at the end of this review, and the “Trailer for Making Amends”—which is as its namesake would indicate. As per standard operating procedure, let’s go with the “Play Movie” option.

Opening Credits
The credits play as text over top of a point-of-view drive down a narrow and dark road at nighttime. The scenery is a portent of things to come.

Sex Scene One (Alektra Blue and Rocco Reed)
This scene involves Alektra Blue, who is playing the role of one of Randy Spear’s many mistresses, and Rocco Reed. The action takes place on a bed with a leather-cushioned headboard in a nice bedroom. Alektra starts out wearing a black and purple bra and panties set that goes nicely with her black hair. Physically, she is slender, has nice-sized, enhanced breasts, and has a pierced womanhood that is shaved other than for a tightly-trimmed patch above the lips. Alektra, as usual, looks stunning.

This is a truly excellent scene. The lighting is good, the angles are good, and Alektra and Rocco put out a great performance. They have a lot of enthusiasm for one another, and the action is hot. Overall, this one is definitely worth a look.

Sex Scene Two (Tori Black and Randy Spears)
This scene involves Tori Black, another of Randy Spear’s mistresses, and Randy Spears. The action occurs in Tori’s dwelling on a brown, leather, boat-like sofa in her living room. Tori starts out dressed in a gray miniskirt outfit, a magenta-colored thong, and no bra. In terms of her physical appearance, Tori is a slender, beautiful brunette with perky, natural breasts and a womanhood that is shaved except for a small, trimmed tuft above the lips. Tori has quickly become one of the top performers currently in the adult film industry.

This scene, like the last, involves some nice making out to set the mood, followed by oral and finger work on Tori by Randy. Overall, Tori Black and Randy Spears put forth an excellent scene here. The action is very hot and quite intense. The chemistry is also good between the two. This scene is not to be missed.

Sex Scene Three (Mikayla Mendez and Brooke Banner)
This scene features a lesbian romp between Mikayla Mendez, Randy’s onscreen wife, and Brooke Banner, one of her friends. It takes place in the living room of Randy’s and Mikayla’s home on a dark, leather sofa. Physically, Mikayla is a Latina actress who has black hair, a toned body with nice curves, relatively large enhanced breasts, a womanhood that is shaved other than a trimmed triangle above the lips, and some very cool flame tattoos on her back. Brooke Banner, on the other hand, is a Caucasian blonde who is slender and has nice-sized, natural (?) breasts, a shaved-but-for-a-trimmed-tuft womanhood, and some sexy, extensive tattoo work on her arm. Mikayla starts out wearing a low-cut, light-brown miniskirt outfit with no bra or panties, while Brooke begins attired in a loose-fitting, light-gray miniskirt outfit with a purple bra and thong set underneath. Both women are quite attractive.


Brooke Banner can provide just the type of consolation that Mikayla Mendez needs in these most difficult of times.

In terms of the action, there is some nice making out between the pair, and both women make sure to lick and suckle each other’s breasts. The ladies also get in some finger and oral work on one another, completing the lesbian activities, before ending the scene with a kiss and some breast-play.

All in all, this is a very hot and very good lesbian scene. Again, the action is well-captured, and the two actresses seem to be into each other. There is nothing bad to say here at all. This is another one that is worthy of watching.

Sex Scene Four (Kirsten Price and Brad Armstrong)
This scene features Kirsten Price, playing the role of Randy’s estranged secretary, and Brad Armstrong, her lover and Randy’s business associate. It occurs in the kitchen of Kirsten’s home—which is quite fancy—and good use is made of the counter-top. Kirsten begins the scene in a green, spaghetti-strap top, tight-fitting jeans, and a black bra and panties set. In terms of her appearance, she has brunette hair with a tinge of a reddish color to it, nice-sized natural breasts, and a womanhood that sports a broad, trimmed patch of pubic hair above the lips. Kirsten, with her slender build and other attributes, looks great.

This scene features Brad eating Kirsten, as well as doing a good deal of rimming on her. He also fingers her, and the pair makes out. In total, this is also an excellent scene. Brad and Kirsten are into one another, and there is good passion. The atmosphere, the lighting, the camera angles, etc. all work well here—as they pretty much have throughout the movie. Again—don’t miss this one.

Sex Scene Five (Mikayla Mendez and Randy Spears)
Mikayla Mendez and Randy Spears are featured in this make-up sex / happily-ever-after (or is it???) scene. This time around, Mikayla awaits Randy on their marital bed in their bedroom. She is adorned in sexy, dark-blue lingerie consisting of a lacy bra and a pair of panties. She looks incredible.

Bonus Materials / Other Options
The bonus materials / other options are accessible from the Main Menu via the “Special Features” choice. Here, we find a “Photo Gallery”, which provides us with a slideshow of stills / pretty-girl shots from the DVD, as well as a “Promo Reel”, which features posing by, and introductions of, the various Wicked contract performers. There’s a “More Adult Fun” option, which plays through various phone sex / text sex ads. There’s also a “Trailers” option, which allows the viewer to choose from six different Wicked trailers. These are different than the two that opened up the DVD. There’s a “DVD ROM Materials” choice that one can use on one’s computer. Finally, there is a “Bonus Sex Scene…” that involves Mikayla Mendez and Randy Spears and can be found in the DVD, “Mikayla’s Mind”. This scene is a full boy / girl romp by the pair, and Mikayla looks good here. One notable omission—particularly for those who might be interested in the adult film industry in more than just a passing fashion—is the lack of a behind the scenes (BTS) segment. While this option would be a nice plus, it isn’t fully necessary, however.
