Sin Citys Angels, a 2003 release, swipes its premise from the old TV series and recent hit mainstream movie Charlies Angels. The boss in this case is named Harley, and hes played by Randy Spears. The plot is convoluted, but basically has something to do with stolen paintings. As bad as the dialogue is, it may be the highlight of the flick. The Angels are Aurora Snow, Shay Sweet, and Hannah Harper. But Nikki Vail gets the first sex action. Shes got red/brown hair, bolt-ons, and is a bit on the heavy side. She does Randy in a boring scene that ends with a tit cumshot. Shay steps up next, but her scene with Steven St. Croix doesnt generate much heat. Kaitlyn Ashley was always one of my favorite stars of that time or any other, and she was one of not all that many porn starlets that could actually act some. I'm just going in hoping for a decent story and some decent sex. Initial Thoughts It's the tale of a woman(Kaitlyn Ashley) who is bound to a wheelchair, and has pretty crummy people around her that make her feel like crap. She confides in a diary and things take off from there. The story is actually pretty well done, Kaitlyn, Jeanna Fine, and Alex Sanders do a pretty fine job of acting out the script here, and at times it's fairly interesting to watch. I think for that reason and the softer sex, it makes a pretty good couples flick. RATING SUMMARY: in regard to the performers and their appearances, no one's looks or actions should detract from a scene. i don't expect a/v quality to be flawless, however everything should be clearly visible and audible. the dvd should have some extra content worth watching more than once. there is no plot or acting whatsoever in this movie. (i usually don't view those.) the "what its worth" amount is the price i paid for this dvd. THE FEATURE: i got into the anal assault series after seeing a trailer on another mayhem dvd. i've never been disappointed with anything from mayhem so i thought i would give this series a try. the movie itself is pretty decent. good cast and good director. the director in the previous editions was johnny glock, this one notes the director as bud lee. this movie features alot of anal sex although does not focus on it entirely ... it does include rimming, fingers, internal anal ejaculation and anal intercourse. Few studios in the adult business are as generally disappointing as Adam and Eve. Either thier films lack any genuine heat and passion, or the production values are so overdone that any passion that may have been a part of the film is choked out. I'm happy to say that one of their newest films, Duchess, is not plagued with this problem. In fact, except for a very weak plot and occaionally poor camera angles, Duchess is an exceptional adult feature film. The plot, however, is terrible. Duchess, a wealthy young woman played by Holly Hollywood, is lonely with her husband, Steve Holmes, away on business. Her friends, the lovely Laurie Wallace and Cameron, try to convince her that sex is fun, and while Duchess does have an affair with the lawn boy, legendary Steven St. Croix, she rushes into the arms of her husband, and then the film ends. There is no movement, no drama, nothing that makes the plot at all interesting. Several of the actors play their roles rather well, especially St. Croix and Hollywood, but they can't make up for the poor writing. [read the full review]
