Sex & Romance (Wicked) Review

“Sex and Romance” is strictly “couples” fare, and it’s only marginally decent at that. Raincoaters should pass.

The story revolves around blond cutie Jessica Drake, a horny novelist who writes randy tomes that come to life as she types away. There is decent music throughout, good sets and lighting, but horrible acting, a lame script, a bit of looping, average girls, and lukewarm sex.

Brunette Victoria Givens, she of the bad boob job, romps with Evan stone in a bubble bath to open the action, such as it is. Hope the water was hot, because the sex is not even close to steamy here. It ends in an open mouth facial.

Drake is next, and she pairs off with Brad Armstrong in a kitchen tryst. Again, the partners just seem to be going through the motions, and it finishes with Drake jerking a Brad load into her waiting mouth.

Blond Wendy Divine (Drake’s publisher) gets seduced by waiter Eric Masterson while the girls have lunch in a restaurant. Having Drake sitting nearby watching the proceedings and making cell phone calls really brings down the temperature of this scene, which ends with Eric dropping a load on Wendy’s tongue.

Wendy is back to tussle with her hubby, John West, at home on a couch. This actually is a pretty good scene with the couple showing good chemistry and heat. Again, Wendy eagerly accepts West’s guy goo on her waiting tongue.

Givens is back, this time to play with her girlfriend, Pauline, a decent-looking blonde. They flop about on a desk, inserting various fingers in various holes. No toys come out, and the scene lacks anything worthy of attention.

Drake jumps her gardener’s (Steven St. Croix) bones in the backyard in the final scene. She seems a little more into Steven than she was to Brad, and the romp is fairly energetic, ending with a nice open mouther.

The DVD offers a 12-minute Behind the Scenes, a Star Gallery, Star Stats, Promotional Material, DVD-ROM Material, and Trailers as extras. All the boy/girl scenes featured condoms.
