Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and well balanced, without any signs of background noises. This is really impressive because there’s a fair amount of the movie that’s shot outdoors. The video is very similar, and has a soft feel. There’s some very slight grain, but the movie is well lit and clear right out to the edges. Unfortunately, there are a couple spots where some of the equipment wanders into the camera’s view, but they are very short spots that are easy to miss.

Music: The music has a soft and romantic feel, but it’s balanced on the strong side. At times it’s even the only audio in the scenes, which always annoys me.

Menus: The menus are pretty typical. There’s a bit of nice animation in the main menu, and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature: Shortly after Randy Spears and Shaena Steele pick up Asia Carrera alongside the road and offer to give her a ride, their car breaks down. Luckily Asia is familiar with the area, and guides them to a nearby abandoned cabin they can stay the night and hopefully call for help. There isn’t a phone there, so while they wait until morning Asia tells them urban legends of the area, most of which revolve around a girl who was cursed long ago to walk the road they picked her up on.

Asia Carrera and Steve Hatcher start things out in the great outdoors on some blankets and hay bales. Steve works Asia over with his tongue and fingers before Asia puts her amazing oral talents to work on his schlong, sucking him, stroking him, and giving him great eyes. They move things along with some missionary and doggie style before Steve pops on her ass and they finish things with a kiss. It’s a nice scene, but feels like a stereotypical porno scene. Asia gets into things very well, and maybe this is because I’ve watched so many of her scenes, but her motions seem almost predictable to me here. I enjoyed the scene, but not as much as I expected to.

Next, Randy and Sheana are told about a Victorian couple (Steven St. Croix and Flick Shagwell) and their maid (Asia Carrera). When Flick catches Asia moving to try on her clothes, she reassures Asia that it’s fine and then helps Asia out of her clothes. Steven feels some punishment is necessary, and takes Asia across his knee to spank her. They pleasure each other orally before fucking, and move around nicely as they work through positions where nobody needs to be left out. Asia does masturbate quite a bit during the scene, but still gets involved quite a bit with Flick and Steven as he fucks Flick’s ass. Finally, Flick jerks Steven into the air by her mouth. It’s a pretty hot scene with great chemistry. The chemistry throughout this scene is great. It feels at times like it wants to be a really nasty scene, but there’s also a loving feel to the scene that never lets it get that far.

Mia Smiles and Dee get busy next. Dee’s a little unsure, so Mia gives her a drink to help her relax before she starts undressing her and kissing her way across Dee’s chest. Mia tenderly tongues Dee’s twat as they undress, first through Dee’s panties and then without them. She tongues Dee until Dee insists on getting up and returning the favor, and then pushes her back down so she can finger her. After making her wait as long as possible, Mia finally releases Dee and lets her return the favor. Mia receives for a little bit, but quickly turns things back to giving it to Dee. Finally, they end things kissing in each others arms. It’s a hot scene with great chemistry, but it almost goes on a little too long. Luckily, Dee and Mia have amazing chemistry together and both look to be really into it, which should make it worthwhile for most people. It is, however, a little odd for a movie that seems to be geared so much towards couples to have such a long lesbian scene in it.

Extremely sweet Wendy Divine, looking very hot with a new set of bolt-ons and reddish hair, and real life hubby Eric Masterson get busy on the rare porn location of a bed in the penultimate scene. Eric starts out tonguing and fingering Wendy before she returns the favor with some great knob-gobbling. Wendy lets Eric spear her snatch, as well as taking it in the ass, which as many of Wendy’s fans know, isn’t a common occurrence. She rubs her nub pretty good as Eric fucks her ass, but also seems to get into it really well before finishing things up with a nice facial that is unfortunately shown in slow motion. It’s another pretty typical porn scene, but as usual Wendy and Eric have the great chemistry that one hopes for with a real life couple.

Finally, Shaena Steele and Randy Spears try to show Asia Carrera their love is true the old fashioned way, namely by having a threesome with her. The girls shower Randy with oral affection before Shaena climbs on Randy’s cock reverse cowgirl style while Asia rides his tongue. Shaena lets Randy spoon Asia a little before having Randy fuck her doggie style so she can get a taste of Asia too. Randy takes one last poke at Asia before finally popping on Asia’s clam. This is one of the best Asia scenes I’ve watched in a long time. She has her usual great enthusiasm, but everything doesn’t seem rehearsed. It comes off as much more natural, part of which I think might be due to Shaena. Shaena really appears to get into this scene, and turns it into one heck of a winner. She looks to have several orgasms through the scene, and I don’t think a person could fake her reactions for most of the scene even if they tried. This ends up as every bit the great scene it should be, and is a perfect scene to end things with.

Free Ride is a pretty stereotypical porno. The plot is weak, and basically serves to setup five unrelated sex scenes. The sex scenes then give you a group scene, a couple anal scenes, and a lesbian scene, with most of them even feeling stereotypical. The only thing that really sets Free Ride apart from most other pornos is the chemistry. With the exception of the first scene, the chemistry in the scenes is excellent, and helps the scenes out quite a bit. Granted, they still feel like typical porno scenes, but they at least feel like typical porno scenes with a little something behind them. The final scene between Asia Carrera, Shaena Steele, and Randy Spears is easily the best in the movie because of this, and actually helps it become a little memorable. Free Ride isn’t the best trip you might take in the porno world, but it’s far from the worst.

Extras: The photo gallery contains about twenty very nice looking snapshots and full screen photos. Bios are including a little personal information and a photo are included for Asia Carrera, Dee, Mia Smiles, Flick Shagwell, Stven St. Croix, Steve Hatcher, Randy Spears, and Eric Masterson. The bonus scene feature Kelsey and Dillion Day, and comes from the excellent Guilty as Sin. Kelsey starts with Dillion Day’s tongue firmly implanted in her twat. Lezley Zen finds them, but leaves before she’s found, letting Dillion continue to bury his face between Kelsey’s thighs and drop his tongue down between her cheeks. He moves on to fuck her missionary style without needing any oral encouragement from her, and continues on through reverse cowgirl and doggie anal. Finally, Kelsey sucks Dillion’s cock until it explodes onto her face. This is an extremely hot scene with great chemistry. Kelsey and Dillion have some great trash talking banter going between them throughout the scene, as well as great eye contact. Scenes like this show that couples sex doesn’t have to be tame to work. Instead it can do just fine putting together a couple people who really enjoy being together and letting them do what comes naturally.

Finally, the behind the scenes featurette lasts over fifty minutes! You get plenty of the photo galleries being shot, as well as the cast both on the set and behind the scenes. There’s some nice focus on three of the scenes being shot, although Asia’s scene with Steve and Wendy’s scene with Eric are missing, as well as Bud helping the cast prepare for them. Shaena Steele, Dee, and Mia Smiles give nice interviews, talking about things like getting into the industry, their sexuality, and some of their experiences in the industry. It’s a very nice behind the scenes featurette that gives you a great feel for Bud Lee as a director as well as many of the people in the cast.

Overall: Most Adam & Eve DVDs can be found online for between $10 and $22 with many stores offering them for under $15. I don’t know if I’d go much beyond the lower end here. The disc is nicely done, with very good extras and a nice transfer, but the movie struck me as being fairly typical.

Note to Adam & Eve: It’s nice to see how full a treatment you’re giving your DVDs!
