The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty well done, but a touch artistic. Unlike some of Orleans' work, there is audio from the performers, but the music is still very heavy on the audio. The video is presented in the full frame format, and nicely lit. It's well presented, but there are some filters used that give it a lightly stylized look.

Music: The music is nicely done. It's well balanced with the rest of the audio, and is sexy without seeming generic.

Menus: The main menu blends the cover still and a blurry shot from the movie for a thoroughly unimpressive first impression. The chapter menu is barely a step up, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a title for the scene.

The Feature

Open Up and Say Ahhh! goes with the lighter vignette style that Nick Orleans has often used in the past. The scenes are connected by their medical theme, and there's a little setup or some heavy tease to start off each scene.

Scene 1 - Monica Mayhem and Joel Lawrence

Stirrups starts things out as blonde Monica heads to see doctor Joel in a black dress. He puts her up on the table and her heels in the stirrups as he asks her a few questions and feels around her thighs. Scene 2 - Ariana Jollee, Holly Hollywood, and Steven St. Croix

Scene 3 - Honey, Wendy James, and Lee Stone

The editing also feels very rough and didn’t help much. This is an okay scene that feels like it had far more to offer than what the camera showed. Sadly, it's also one of the weakest scenes in the movie.

Scene 5 - Monica Mayhem, Ben English, and Joey Ray

Open Up and Say Ahhh! is a hot little nurse themed porno. Yes, he does pay attention to 'pretty things', and because of it there's a great looking cast in some very sexy outfits as well as some good chemistry in almost all of the scenes. He also isn't afraid to let things get a little nasty, and because of it there's some hot anal action and even a double penetration here. Open Up and Say Ahhh! is also helped out by the setups. There's never much there, but it's just enough to kick the nurse / doctor fantasy up a notch and never enough to make the scene start out a notch down by feeling overly cheesy. As for problems, the movie is a bit artistic, and there were a few times that did get in the way for me. It never completely killed a scene for me, but it did interfere a little. Open Up and Say Ahhh! is a hot little porno that shows that beauty and hot sex don't have to be mutually exclusive.

The Extra Stuff

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about fourteen and a half minutes. It works through the scenes one by one, showing the scenes being shot and a couple of the photos being shot. It's all put to music and nicely identifies the performers, but it doesn't add a single thing to the overall presentation. About the only thing you see different here is the cameras in the shots and a few different angles so you can see the monitors. This is pretty much a worthless behind the scenes featurette.

Bonus Scene - Ashley Long and Steven St. Croix

The sex is artistic and hot, and there's some great attention to the outfits. The technical aspects were nicely done, but might be a bit stylized for some. Finally, there was a little effort put into the extras to help out the overall DVD. This is a nicely done DVD.

Note to Adam & Eve: It's cool that you put so many behind the scenes featurettes on your DVDs, but please let them have more substance than this!
