Cox, and Peter North Initial Expectations: Thomas Paine has rarely impressed me much, so I dont have much for hopes here. Initial Reaction: Theres some hot sex, but it isnt close to consistent. Who Should Watch It : Anybody whos a fan of Alexandra Silk or whos just curious about her Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who insists on top notch technical aspects and DVDs packed as far as they can be Audio /Video Quality: This is one of Adam & Eves earliest DVDs, and its not that hard to tell. Most everything here seems very reminiscent of VHS. The audio is clear, but seems slightly muffled at times. The video has a yellowish tinge to it as well as some slight grain. Theres also a few shadows that interfere. Music: The music is soft and rests very quietly in the background for most of the movie, but it sounds more like a loud train wreck for the orgy scene. Because it's downright silly to think you can rip off a good movie, turn it into porn, and still take yourself seriously. That's exactly the case of The Last Tango, however, which is "inspired" by The Last Tango in Paris, the classic Bernardo Bertolucci movie where Marlon Brando famously (and sadly) seduces Maria Schneider into a sexual affair. Ah, but porn is about sex, and not plot, right? So, why does it matter? It matters because it's a wasted effort and if you're a mainstream movie buff, then you end up feeling like a Led Zeppelin fan when Puff Daddy covered Kashmir. If you count yourself among Alexandra Silk's fans, you not only would have good reason to do so (she has great energy), but you'd also be hard pressed to find a DVD that displays her as much as this one. Brad Armstrong, who also directed Wicked pictures' "Conquest" and "Flashpoint," directed this picture in association with Vivid and Adam and Eve. As a result, the production values are higher and the transfer to DVD better than in most Vivid discs. There's always a gimmick in a Brad Armstrong Feature; think of the rigged sailing ship in "Conquest" or the fire engines in "Flashpoint." In this picture, it is the exotic animals: elephants and camels. The disc also features stunning costumes and very nice interior locations. Technically, the disc is very good. The audio and video were outstanding, just about as good as in "Flashpoint," and far better than most vivid product. Ralph Parfait did the cinematography, and it is excellent. Every one of the sex scenes was a winner. Dyanna Lauren is a very, very lovely woman. If anyone cares, the disc features an extremely accomplished cast of studs, including Vince Voyeur, Jon Dough, Steve Drake, Peter North, and T.T. Boy. Well this was a recommended title I was put onto recently as I was looking for a good Zara White facial. This movie is a typical Andrew Blake style movie except there is more b/g sex than I have seen in the other films of his I have seen but I have only seen a handful so there that is but I quite enjoyed this one. It features the lovely Ashlyn Gere in a great role for her. She is riding around in a limo playing with herself in between the sex scenes. Rather than bore you with plot details which I don't really care about let's get to the sex. I will hit the points I really enjoyed in this film and there were many. It starts off with Zara being a voyeur while I believe it was 5 girls get in on with a guy in a room in another building. [read the full review]

Blame it on Ginger is a rather standard film from Vivid in the late 80s, due to the less than perfect audio and video, I suggest only picking this one up if you are a big fan of one or more of the stars. Cameron Grants Fantasy Chamber, shot on film, could have been an incredible DVD. Essentially its a collection of beautiful sex scenes. The performers are exceptionally attractive, the scenery is erotically intriguing, and the music is excitingly sensual. Sadly, the video quality is poor enough for me to notice. As the movie begins, Jimmy tells Jamal they should become pimps and open an escort service, New Wave Hookers, where the girls would fuck to new wave music. They soon fall asleep, where they are transported into another world: They now run New Wave Hookers Incorporated and have a "dog" (Steve Powers), who telepathically receives phone calls. Their first girl is Candy (Desiree Lane), who skates into their office. One warning though I clocked this DVD in at a very lean 67 minutes and I believe the VHS version is closer to 86! The big 90s hairdos aside, the women in the cast were attractive with nice bodies ranging from Onas firm voluptuousness to Racquels lean lines, and Kym Wildes natural appeal somewhere in the middle. Another thing to note is that the sex is filmed for couples and is fairly light, with a lot of R-rated shots and some missing pops. Its normally pretty clear, but there are a few problems with the balance and some of the levels. The video looks very good, especially for its age.
