Review:
A beautiful, young woman (the legendary Jenna Jameson) has no idea what she's in for when a trip out into the mountains to interview a renowned expert on satyrs and sexuality (Asia Carrera) for a college paper finds her unknowingly thrust into a den of the beasts...and becoming one herself. Such is the case in "Satyr", a very good, 1997 release from Wicked Pictures and director Michael Zen. Featuring the stunning Jenna Jameson in her prime, along with a strong supporting cast (Asia Carrera, Stacy Valentine, Chloe, Missy, and so on), this flick delivers some of the biggest female names of its day...and their sexual performances live up to their lofty reputations. Similarly, the costuming, sets, and musical score are generally exceptional and complement the storyline quite well, which itself is solid and multi-faceted and featuring of decently developed characters. Indeed, there's a bit of everything included in the plot. There's love, lust, evil, betrayal, and even a touch of humor. The result is a good one that's inherently watchable...and perfect for the Halloween season, which is upon us. Fans of Ms. Jameson and Wicked's pre-condom fare are going to want to check this one out, as are those who enjoy horror and/or a compelling storyline with their porn.

In terms of the sex, Scene One finds an exotic sorceress-type, the lovely Asia Carrera, pleasured by two of her lovers, Brad Armstrong and Mickey G., in a candlelit living room. Carrera--whose big hair done up to be a cage for a small, golden dragon looks almost as wild as the colander that she's been sporting in her recent driver's license photos--is in top physical form and handles her grunting guys' advances with ease...and open legs.
