Synopsis:
Sorority Sex Kittens — Part 1 takes place at Lost River College, 18 years after the events that occurred in Sorority Pink and Sorority Pink 2. Easy Ed comes back to Lost River College to investigate years and years worth of missing studs from the college campus that have never managed to surface and suspects that the Upsilon Sigma Sorority is somehow behind it.

Video/Audio:
Sorority Sex Kittens — Part 1 is presented in the 1.33:1 ratio, full screen, which appears to be the original aspect ratio for the film. The film appears to originally have been filmed on video, not on film. The picture in this presentation is slightly soft with occasional artifacts. The color levels are good with no noticeable dropout.

Sorority Sex Kittens — Part 1 has a 2.0 English Dolby Stereo track that, from the sound, appears to be mostly monaural in nature. The music is mixed slightly loud so at times it fights over the sound of the spoken dialog. No other language tracks and no subtitle options are available.

Chapters/Time Code:
There are six chapters available for Sorority Sex Kittens — Part 1 from the main menu. There is a time code for this film so time-searching is also possible. Combined these allow for moderate navigation through the disc.

Special Features:
As per the norm for the adult discs that I have seen, Sorority Sex Kittens — Part 1 contains very little for extras, most of which have nothing to do with the feature film. The Photo Gallery contains 21 pictures on a track lasting around 2¾ minutes. Cast contains a text list of the cast with links that jump you to scenes in the movie with Ashlyn Gere, Victoria Paris, Selena Steele, and Madison. Other Titles contains the pictures for the boxes for three other DVDs' available from VCA; Pretty Peaches 3: The Quest, Café Flesh, and Chameleons!: Not the Sequel. Internet Access is a 34-second commercial for the VCA web site. There is definitely nothing here to base a purchase or rental decision on.

Review:
Sorority Sex Kittens — Part 1 features a well-done story line. It's not too complex, but there is enough to it to keep your interest. The story doesn't have much to it. It is mostly fluff to move the sex scenes along. There is enough of a storyline though to bother anyone who doesn't like them too much.

The props and locations used in the film are decent. Unfortunately most of the indoor locations end up looking like dressed up apartments though. There were some blatant errors made in prop choices, like in the Delta House, I noticed a piece of stage lighting being used as a prop.

The film features a nice looking cast and has some good sex scenes. Unlike most modern adult films, the sex scenes don't end up following the same formulaic pattern thoughout the film, providing for nice variety thoughout the different scenes. Unfortunately, in the scene I was most interested in, the much advertised massive lesbian orgy, not much heat was generated. It ended up being just quick edits between the action, never building to anything really intense.

Overall, a nicely done fun adult film, especially for those who are into college or sorority theme films. Sorority Sex Kittens — Part 1 ends up being much better than the more recently made Kelly the Coed.

Given the lack of real extras on this disc, VCA should have done the same thing they did with The Devil in Miss Jones 3 & 4 and included Sorority Sex Kittens — Part 1 and Sorority Sex Kittens — Part 2 on one disc. Since they both tell one whole story, it would have made the disc a much better value.

The Money Shot:
Sorority Sex Kittens — Part 1 is a good movie to purchase or rent if you like lighthearted plot-based films and films with a sorority/college theme. Since the story continues in the next disc in the series, I would recommend purchasing or renting this one with its sequel Sorority Sex Kittens — Part 2. If the story really matters to you, you also would probably want to rent or purchase Sorority Pink and Sorority Pink 2 since they hold the origins of the storyline. I would recommend those that don't like a plot to slow down their porn pass on this one.
