Return of the Cheerleader Nurses is an odd little movie about a group of ladies who all share the same name. Theres Mary Jane, Mary Ellen, Mary Jo, and so on. I didnt get it. Maybe someone was trying to tell us that all women are the same, or only superficially different from one another, and so theyre interchangeable. Thats kind of heavy. Maybe someone just thought it was funny. I still dont get it. Return of the Cheerleader Nurses is a sad, ultimately uplifting little drama about a man devastated by the theft of his prized baseball card collection. He cries, he mopes, he prays, and somehow all this self-pity pays off: his collection is returned to him intact. No wonder porn is for adults: what kind of message would this send to our kids? Return of the Cheerleader Nurses is also a spooky ghost story. Or something. At any rate, theres a guy who literally disappears at the end. I dont know why. [read the full review]
