Initial Expectations: Wicked normally puts together a very good DVD, and I have no reason to expect otherwise here.

Initial Reaction: It’s a very hot movie where I was into it enough that I didn’t care about the weak plot.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody looking for a well balanced fuck flick where you don’t have to worry about a plot

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody looking for a lot of anal or nastier sex or a plot

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is a little above average. It’s normally pretty clear, but there are a few problems with the balance and some of the levels. The video looks very good, especially for its age. There’s a little grain, but that’s about the only problem with it.

Music: The music is pretty typical porn music, and ranges from being just a little too loud to being the only audio.

Disc Problems: When played with PowerDVD, when you view the cast bios, the selection to allow you to return to the cast listing didn’t work. Instead it would just shift back and forth between a few of the bios. I’ve had this problem with several other bios menus, and not just from Wicked, which makes me think that this might be more of a hardware problem than a problem with the DVD.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple, but do contain a few images from the feature and a little animation. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a clip of the scene and a title.

The Feature: When you’re a call girl like Chasey Lain, you can be as wicked as you want. It’s not the best for dealing with people, and can be very hard on a relationship, such as the one she has with her girlfriend / roommate Kaylan Nicole.

Chasey Lain, looking very, ahem, professional, is greeted by businessmen Tom Byron and Peter North. Unfortunately, Tom has begun his sleazy look here, so the only profession I can think of him being convincing in is one that involves a long coat, a wide brimmed hat, and a lot of rhinestones. Wicked as She Seems shows that you don’t need a well done plot if the sex is hot enough. There’s barely even a plot here, and it doesn’t interfere with the movie since every scene is a winner. Chasey stands out very nicely and shows why she was one of Wicked’s first contract girls in every one of her scenes. Wicked as She Seems shows why people were noticing Wicked a long time before a certain blonde came along.

Extras: Bios are included for Chasey Lain, Kaylan Nicole, and Kaitlyn Ashley. Each one includes a still of the performer’s face, a little personal information, and a link to the star’s scene. The photo gallery lasts about two minutes with about six seconds per nice looking framed photo. Trailers are included for Flashpoint, Satyr, Conquest, and Crazed. Overall: Currently, Wicked as She Seems can be found online from about $21 to $30 with several stores offering it near the low end. Although this is a little higher than the average feature, it’s worth the money. Yes, the extras are pretty average, but the transfer is very good. Most importantly, the sex is extremely hot with every scene being a winner.

Note to Wicked: I know this is one of your early DVDs, but it’s nice to see you putting the effort into them even back then.
