This is a pretty typical mid-nineties porno. The setup is cheesy and overused with a bunch of TV execs screening scenes to show on their porno network, and the sex doesn't stand out in any way. There is some very nice female talent with Johnni Black, Celine Devoux, Kaitlyn Ashley, and Tatianna in the movie, but they never get a chance to shine much due to the camera work and editing. The technical aspects are pretty good when one considers the age of the release, but there's no effort put into the extras (as usual with the VCA Gold Classics line). Wicked Pictures: Dear Diary Preview Expectations: This one is some classic Wicked, nearly a decade old, and back when the dawn of the Jenna Jameson era was upon us. Kaitlyn Ashley was always one of my favorite stars of that time or any other, and she was one of not all that many porn starlets that could actually act some. I'm just going in hoping for a decent story and some decent sex. Initial Thoughts It's the tale of a woman(Kaitlyn Ashley) who is bound to a wheelchair, and has pretty crummy people around her that make her feel like crap. She confides in a diary and things take off from there. The story is actually pretty well done, Kaitlyn, Jeanna Fine, and Alex Sanders do a pretty fine job of acting out the script here, and at times it's fairly interesting to watch. I think for that reason and the softer sex, it makes a pretty good couples flick. I felt I had to offer a review here. 5 or 6 of Bruce Seven's titles have been transferred to DVD. Some poor slob that did the transfer screwed up most of them. The sound is bad and the lighting in particular makes even the best moments not worth the time or money. But thankfully that idiot did not do the transfer of Obsession. All the more so because it is one of Bruce Seven's better bondage flicks. Shane is gorgeous as always and she happily submits to some very hard whipping, spanking, nipple clamps, and a good ass fucking by Ivy English. Kaitlyn and Ivy are both looking very good too. This is a pretty forgettable release. The sex has some decent chemistry at times, but the camera is often so close you can't see too much. The technical aspects show some very nice care for the age of the movie, but due to the age of the movie there's also not much there for extras.
