WELCOME to Rieekan Review #11 Lost Angel. This is a compilation from Vivid Raw, which hasn’t exactly lavished its video series with detail. In addition, this title is slightly deceptive as it is subtly portrayed as a story porn on the covers, not as a compilation.

Fortunately, Vivid Raw have put some reasonable effort into this production. The decent titles, extras and high-quality transfer are all simple things that improve the overall package, and the addition of a masturbating narrator is a good idea too – except that in this case it’s pre-pubescent Katie Gold, who gives the intermissions a disturbing child porn feel.

EXTRAS: [Side A] 9 chapters, time-delay photo gallery (2:00) & bonus masturbation scene. [Side B] Manual photo gallery (3:20), 9 previews & 8 sex scenes. The extras were decent – the photo galleries were good but the previews weren’t great.

NOTES: Katie Gold looks worryingly young and appears quite often. The A/V quality for the new footage (Katie’s masturbation) is particularly high and looks to be shot on digital camera, the other transfers are very good.

SCENE 1: Sarah Jane Hamilton & Sindee Coxx. Sarah Jane is an older redhead with an odd British accent, which somehow doesn’t sound sexy like Nici Sterling’s; Sindee looks ok here in her leather get-up. They start with some very light spanking and Sarah Jane fingers Sindee. Her accented dirty talk just sounds innocuous, which was kind of funny. The girls have a 69 then unfortunately the toys come out, a Sybian-like variable speed piston device with a dildo head and some strange power toys. The scene was sort of interesting but not really erotic at all – boring, cold and far too long.

SCENE 2: Tammi Ann & Tom Byron. Tammi Ann is almost as worrying as Katie Gold. In addition to being somewhat scrawny, she has ratty hair and an unattractive face. Tom slaps her buttocks and spanks her with various paddles and other devices that were a waste of time. He fingers, licks and rims her, then she goes down on him. After doggy and cowgirl she strokes his load on her mouth. Katie said something about Tammi getting fucked in the ass but there was no anal sex in this bad scene.

SCENE 3: Kaitlyn Ashley & Jay Ashley; Vixxen & TC. Kaitlyn, looking unusually pretty, sucks Jay’s cock. In the background, Vixxen – a plain platinum blonde – gets friendly with TC. As usual, Kaitlyn gives great head and her foreground scene is prominent. Quickly, Jay enters her asshole and unusually, Kaitlyn is quiet and doesn’t move much, but seems to be enjoying herself. Vixxen and TC also engage in sodomy, though her over-the-top fake cries were terrible compared to Kaitlyn’s easy performance. After the anal, Jay shoots weakly on Kaitlyn’s implants and TC cums a bit into Vixxen’s mouth. A strange scene but Kaitlyn was nice.

SCENE 4: Asia Carrera & Tony Tedeschi. Asia looks alright here, pre-implant, but isn’t remarkable and Tony is quite ugly. They have a very tepid scene, not helped by their looks or the lack of heat – if Asia has set the screen alight before, I haven’t seen it. He eats her for a long time, which didn’t look particularly good, and she blows him with closed eyes, which was neither well-filmed nor remotely exciting. The rimming doesn’t exactly improve matters. She seems more responsive than normal in the mish, but still can’t generate any heat. One endlessly long and boring position later, he sprinkles her butt. A very bad scene.

SCENE 5: Bionca, Jon Dough & Tom Byron. Brunette Bionca has an unattractive face and takes on park rangers Dough and Byron in a standard, uninteresting double-team (no DP). The guys swap ends once, Tom screwing her doggy as John enjoys her mouth ministrations. Tom enters her ass at her insistence. There wasn’t any discernible heat here and the looks all round were pretty low. Tom pulls out suddenly and squirts weakly on her ass; Dough douses her breasts. Another poor scene.

SCENE 6: Norma Gene & John Dough. Wearing a sleep mask, it was hard to tell if Norma Gene was attractive or not. The scene starts interestingly with her sucking chocolate topping off Jon’s cock, but after that the b.j. was just boring. He enters her from behind and one of the disadvantages of DVD arises – the irritating sound of rustling paper is conveyed perfectly in high-fidelity stereo. He pumps her mechanically then shoots another good load on her butt and back. The scene was very boring.

SCENE 7: Katie Gold, Raylene & a guy. Katie looks childlike (even though she’s probably 25) and very bad, with her almost emaciated body outlining her ribs. Raylene, one of my favourites, is a gorgeous redhead with a great body and some new implants. She plays with her army buddies, Katie and a guy who sucks and licks her pussy. Seeing Raylene suck cock is one of the highlights of this compilation, though it’s poorly-filmed and Raylene is backgrounded in the double blow. The guy screws Katie first, looking like he might break her, then takes Raylene from behind as she kisses Katie. Sadly, she’s not too enthused and makes some weird noises and looks a bit stoned in the mish. He pulls out and cums on her stomach. Though Raylene was sexy, this scene was not.

BONUS SCENE: Katie Gold. This bonus masturbation scene was cut into several pieces to create the intermissions between the comp scenes. The scene, included whole as a bonus, has Katie masturbating with a dildo. Again, I can’t stress how disturbing she looks. Though the A/V quality is very high, the scene was uninteresting and went far too long.

Overall, Lost Angel is a very poor compilation. It’s nice to see Vivid Raw put some effort into it, but one of their biggest problems is using bad material. Katie Gold (and Tammi Ann to a lesser extent) really does not help and the only good points were Kaitlyn’s performance, Raylene’s looks, the extras and the sharp A/V quality.

Other than that, Lost Angel was a disturbing waste of time.
