Hardcore (Vivid) Review

Review:
Nikki Dial—in her tiny white workout shorts and cute, red-and-white-striped top that barely covers her ample bosom—stares seductively back from the box-cover. Her well-toned midriff is on full display, and the bottom of a breast just barely pokes out from under the lower edge of her shirt. Her brunette hair is curled, and her feminine hands are strategically positioned—one slipped under the top and the other under the waistband of the bottoms. Such is the initial introduction to “Hardcore”, a good, now-nostalgic release from Vivid Video. The epitome of the “box-cover girl”, Nikki was a petite, natural-breasted brunette who took the industry by storm in the early-to-mid 90s before taking her leave. Though her career didn’t last as long as it might have, she did make quite a mark, placing a number of sexy releases under her g-string before eventually moving on. This, “Hardcore”, is certainly one of them.

In terms of how this flick shapes out plot-wise, Nikki actually plays two characters. One is that of “Dolly Beacher”, a popular porn star who has also become extraordinarily jaded and disinterested in her profession. Despite her fame and fortune, it has all simply become too much for her. The other is that of a starry-eyed doppelganger who seeks Dolly out and whose entrance onto the stage allows Dolly unforeseen opportunities in life.

Specifically, the doppelganger takes over for Dolly after showing up at her room in answer to an out-of-date advertisement for a lookalike. In desperate need of some downtime and wanting to go to her friend Dyanna Lauren’s wedding out in the country, Dolly concocts a scheme that puts the double in her place for a little while (…at least). Whether the switch ends up being a good one, a bad one, temporary, or permanent all remains to be seen and ultimately unfolds. Needless to say, there are some bumps (and humps) along the way in this romantic, little love story…but all’s well that ends well in the(ir) end(s).

Sex-wise, there are only four scenes here, but given that Nikki Dial is featured in three of them, there’s still plenty of good lovin’ to enjoy. In the first (Scene One), Nikki (as “Dolly”) starts out in a sheer pink one-piece lingerie number. She’s there at a mansion shooting a scene for a movie with Alex Sanders. The pair gets involved in some oral work and transitions through a couple of sexy vaginal positions before the director has to cut, and Nikki cunts out…wanting to get it all over with and get straight to the pop-shot. Of course, Alex isn’t ready, so it’s up to a fluffer, Kaitlyn Ashley, to come in and take one for the team (in the mouth and ass) off-camera. This all goes on as Nikki looks on impatiently. Finally, everything closes out with Nikki popping back in and Alex dropping one all over her breasts. This is some nice material.

The second sequence (Scene Two) takes place after the doppelganger scheme has been put into motion. Dyanna Lauren (Dolly’s friend) and her fiancé (a young Brad Armstrong) get it on fireside at a campsite in front of the supposed-to-be-slumbering pair of Nikki (as Dolly) and Nick East. This passionate and loving scene involves some nice oral and vaginal work, before Brad pops on his own stomach to finish it off.

In the third segment (Scene Three), Nikki’s up again—still as Dolly—in a steamy romp with Nick East after the duo has spent the day frolicking about in the countryside. Of course, Dolly reveals to Nick who she is but—being the perfect gentleman and a perfect match for her—he doesn’t care (and already knew). A sexy vaginal romp ensues [spooning, side-entry, cowgirl-riding (Nikki’s specialty), and missionary], before the festivities are capped off with a load on Nikki’s tummy. She smears it around, and it’s off to the final scene.

The finale (Scene Four) features Nikki (this time as the doppelganger) and her agent, played by Tony Tedeschi. Nervous on set—and rejecting Ron Jeremy with a nasty cock-slap—the fake Dolly insists on having Tony as her partner in a kitchen-based encounter for a movie that’s being filmed. This exceptional scene involves some nice oral work by both participants, as well as some fervent missionary and erotic cowgirl riding, before Nikki closes things out by jerking Tony to an orgasm all over his cock and her hand. This is hot stuff, for sure!

In all, this is a good release featuring one of the true beauties of porn’s yesteryear, Nikki Dial. While the industry has certainly evolved since it was produced, it’s still good for a short and sexy walk down Nostalgia Lane…particularly for fans of Ms. Dial. For the right crowd—and the right price—it’s worthy.
