Review:
Vengeance--Old West style--is the name of the game when a half-Native American/half-White warrior, the luscious Leena ("Shame"), follows the path of the eagle in seeking out the "Marked One"...a Native man who murdered her husband in cold blood and who's raining down terror across the land. Of course, as is often the case, things aren't all as they seem, and a trail of sex, blood, and death is sure to follow in her dusty wake. So goes Shame, an exceptional 1994 release from Vivid and director Phillip Christian.
Rife with beautiful visuals, authentic sets, period-specific costuming, and bringing both striking cinematography and a powerful score to the table, this fine release offers up a realistic Western experience, as well as a sultry sexual one. While the source material does show its age in terms of the transfer to digital, this doesn't meaningfully get in the way of what is otherwise a top-notch film. Bolstering all of this history-rich, sensory goodness is a solid, female-centered plot featuring treachery, love, self-discovery, and its share of twists and turns, as well.
In terms of the sex, the highlights include a sensual, flashback romp between a returned soldier who still has a bloody bandage wrapped around his noggin, Mike Horner, and his wife, the white-clad and pure-as-the-driven-snow, Kaitlyn Ashley. A little bit of a head wound isn't going to stop ole Mike from getting his "Welcome Home" gift, as a passionate, homestead honking proceeds...and ultimately closes out with a pop on Ashley's ass. Nice!
Also scorching is Leena's and Mike Horner's fireside romp out on the range, after he's been attacked and left for dead, and she's revealed some very personal information about her unique past. Beautifully-shot and intensely erotic, this one finds the unusual pair taking one another in a near fever dream of animalistic passion. Mike finishes on Leena's face and neck in capping off this sensory delight. So hot!
To be sure, the other sequences are all strong, as well, and the plot, settings, etc. all mesh brilliantly into as authentic a Western-themed adult film as one is going to find. Indeed, there aren't a lot of offerings in this genre--even over the years--so it's great to uncover such an exceptional one. Be sure to check it out. Guns up and buns out, it's a winner!
