I was surprised by the quality of Space Nuts, and here again, I have to refer to some of the stars as actors, not just performers. Mike Horner is squirmy fun as the pompous narrator. Hercules is worth buying for the non-sex portions alone, this is not only one of the best adult releases to come out this year, but is one of the best adult releases that I have seen in the last decade. Not only is this an excellent DVD set for an adult release, but this is an excellent DVD set by mainstream standards due to the quality of the extras. Normally I'd only recommend a film of this nature to viewers that like tamer sex, but since the comedic aspects of the film stand alone so well, I have to recommend that any fan of a good comedy pick this film up. Metro certainly has a good thing going with the Finally Legal series. The cool thing about this release is that it is a 2 disc set with disc 1 labeled as "Artcore" and disc 2 labeled as "Hardcore". I'm looking forward to seeing the difference as I think the "Hardcore" may be more to my liking. Capsule Review This is a good release. It is extremely Ninn-ish and I'm pretty much at a loss to see the Laurent Sky original elements here. This is one of the dark style Ninn features (think Latex or Shock). Lots of industrial equipment and grunge abounds everywhere. But there is no psycho plot to accompany the whole thing, rather it is pretty much incidental video. I can say with confidence that the original Evil Angel version is sure to be better, and had I been rating the EA version I am sure it would have scored better. That said, I really wasn't sure if "WOAD" would be my cup of tea. I'm not that excited by toy play, or watching a bunch of guys going at it with one girl, but since Jules rarely disappoints I was compelled to watch this one anyway. I bought this movie in order to watch two of my favourite starlets, in Gauge and Alaura, but also to see whether all the good things I had read about Jules movies were true or not. The influence of John Stagliano is evident from the lengthy tease sequences that precede each scene. Jules uses considerable effort in worshipping the female form and in preparing the girls, with the use of butt plugs and anal beads. A fully clothed Gauge, in ass hugging lilac pants, is enough to stop traffic in my opinion, and so it seems a little worrying that she is initially filmed with her breasts out on a freeway bridge. Thankfully, Gauge seems to recognise the likelihood of causing an accident, and so its back to the house for some action.
