Initial Expectations: I don’t think I’ve seen one of Devinn Lane’s movies yet that hasn’t had at least part of me standing at attention. With the looks of the rest of the cast here, I don’t think there’s a single part of me that’s going to be at ease.

Initial Reaction: Although I don’t think it’s among Wicked’s best vignette features, it’s still pretty good.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who wants slightly artistic sex, fun costumes, and no plot

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who thinks Ed Powers is as artistic as porn should get

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and well balanced, but there are a couple moments that appear dubbed. The video has some slight grain to it that makes it appear as if the feature was shot on film and treated right. Even though this isn’t the case, it does give the feature a slightly more artistic feel. There’s also a few fuzzy moments, as well as a few moments with some noticeable pixelation. On an extremely positive note, it’s also done in anamorphic widescreen, which I love to see and hope Wicked continues.

Music: The music is pretty standard and rests nicely in the background.

Menus: The main menu has a nice patriotic feel to it. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a chapter number and a small clip of the scene.

The Feature: After doing my patriotic duty of voting yesterday morning, I felt myself needing more later that night. Since I’m not a Democrat I felt I could only vote once, but when I saw Devinn Lane in a Marine uniform on the cover of this DVD I knew I had found a solution. Women in Uniform is the latest in Wicked’s all sex features revolving around a certain theme. This time it’s uniforms, and it’s not just limited to the military.

Devinn Lane starts things out with Lezley Zen as Marine Guards. After stripping down a bit, Devinn gets down to munch Lezley’s muff and works her up to six fingers. Lezley returns the favor with some energetic tonguing and a lot of spit before laying back for Devinn and her toys. Lezley takes things up a notch by taking two of Devinn’s toys in her pussy at the same time and then drilling Devinn’s ass with another toy. Lezley seems a little unsure of herself giving it to Devinn’s ass, but Devinn seems to more than just like it. Sadly, it fades out a little before feeling like it’s come to a complete end, but it’s close enough to not hurt the scene too bad. It’s a hot scene with some good chemistry.

Asia Carrera teams up with Devinn Lane as nurses trying to give wheelchair bound Randy Spears the cure for what ails him. They start with a sponge bath and massage before Asia sucks Randy’s spear with her usual vigor while Devinn plays with his nipples. Asia moves on to ride Randy while Devinn sits back and pleasures herself, as well as helping a bit. Asia pleasures Devinn a little as well, but mostly concentrates on Randy fucking her in a couple of the common positions before Randy gives her a nice facial. It’s another hot scene, but that’s not at all surprising with these three in it.

Devinn Lane puts on a bellhop uniform next (and if you like it here, you should really check out 5 Rooms), but gets kicked out of the elevator as the doors close when Nicole Sheridan, who looks extremely hot with her glasses on, and Voodoo want some alone time. Nicole energetically slobbers Voodoo’s knob before snatching it up missionary style on a luggage cart. They move on with some anal reverse cowgirl before finishing things up with an energetic anal pile driver and a complete cum hose-down. It’s an extremely hot scene with great energy and chemistry. I’m not sure Nicole and Voodoo have ever disappointed me, and this one is no different.

Next up is Judge Lane, and thankfully not Miles Lane, who will cause even a blind man’s cock to fall. Judge Devinn lets Lola into her chambers with Pat Myne for some oral arguments while Angelica Sin takes notes. Pat cleans Lola’s colon from behind while Lola works over Devinn, before Lola turns around to make sure all three of them are properly warmed up. Lola and Devinn continue to work each other over as Pat fucks Lola in a few positions, while Angelica watches it all with the help of her own fake cock. After taking Lola in a few positions, Pat finally sprays his spooge stream on Lola’s face. It’s another very hot scene with great chemistry and energy. Angelica is a little out of it, but that’s explained elsewhere on the DVD.

Band geeks Devinn Lane, April, and Tanya Danielle make their own sweet music in the next scene. Somehow they do it without the aid of a flute, which makes me think they’re new and haven’t gotten to band camp yet. Since she’s the star, Devinn gets worked on by both girls first, followed by Tanya and Devinn taking on both girls with a pair of vibrators. Tanya gets a little extra help in hitting the high notes as Devinn pokes Tanya’s ass as well as giving her the plastic cock double penetration. Sadly, April is pretty much left out when Devinn starts concentrating on Tanya. Since April was one of the people I looked forward to most in this feature, this made this scene a bit of a let down to me.

Devinn Lane becomes the man, which I guess is only fitting since she doesn’t touch cock on screen, in the penultimate scene. No, it’s not quite that way. She’s a cop, and a ball buster of a meter maid who drops a little penalty on the Wicked pace car as Brad Armstrong is getting busy with Monica Mayhem in the front seat. Monica gobbles Brad’s knob before letting him lap her lips, and quickly moves on to fucking on the hood. They also move back inside for some doggie action before Brad gives Monica a nice pop in the mouth. It’s a pretty good scene, but I couldn’t help but shake my head at Monica ruining her perfect chest with implants. The scene also seemed to concentrate on close-ups more than I normally like, which also brought things down for me.

Finally, Devinn Lane relieves a little stress as a mailman, oops, I mean letter carrier, in a nice variation of the typical method. She takes oversized two silver bullets and works herself over with them, switching them back and forth between each set of her lips. As usual, Devinn really gets into it, but for some reason this one didn’t work quite as well for me as some of Devinn’s other solo scenes.

Women in Uniform is a pretty good no-brainer of a fuck flick. I was a little surprised after the cover that there was only one military scene in the entire feature, which I was really looking for, but it does still fit the overall theme. As usual, Devinn Lane does a great job of carrying the feature, and Lezley Zen and Asia Carrera do a great job of helping her. Nicole Sheridan and Voodoo also do a great job even without Devinn’s help. Women in Uniform is a good movie, but not Wicked’s best vignette feature.

Extras: Wicked has really went all out on extras again. Trailers are included for Crazed, Hell on Heels, Vengeance, and Working Girl. Audio bios are included for Devinn Lane, Brad Armstrong, Asia Carrera, Monica Mayhem, Tanya Danielle, Lezley Zen, April, Nicole Sheridan, and Randy Spears. As usual, the bios are tailored to the overall DVD feel and include a little personal information, a few photos of the star, and a link to the star’s scene. There’s also the standard Wicked extras of the Wicked Casino, company profile, Wicked Web, promotional materials, list of Wicked’s award winners and nominations, and a commercial for the Free Speech Coalition.

Several photo galleries are also included, each of which gives you about four seconds to look at a nice photo. The movie gallery lasts about a minute, while the behind the scenes gallery lasts only a minute. There’s also star galleries from the feature for Devinn Lane, April, Asia Carrera, Lola, Nicole Sheridan, Angelica Sin, Lezley Zen, Monica Mayhem, and Tanya Danielle which last between a minute and a minute and a half.

The blooper reel lasts about two and a half minutes, and is presented in anamorphic widescreen. Unlike some blooper reels, there aren’t many deliberate screw-ups here. It’s mostly little things that went wrong on the set. It’s a pretty tame blooper reel, but there’s still some fun stuff here.

Interviews are included with several of the stars. Monica Mayhem talks a couple minutes about being around the block but only shooting a couple scenes for Wicked. Lezley Zen talks about five minutes on things such as what she likes to do, what she’s done for Wicked in the past, feature dancing, what she’s looking forward to in the future, and doing things to other people that she doesn’t really like herself. Finally, there’s six and a quarter minutes with Angelica Sin, who talks about being married in the industry, dancing, what she loves about the adult industry, her hobbies, and sex. They’re all nice interviews that give a great glimpse of each of the stars.

There’s also an eight minute bonus masturbation scene with Devinn Lane as a milkmaid. Devinn laps a bit of milk out of the glass bottle before pouring it across her chest. She eventually breaks out a clear dildo to work herself over with, first by hand and then riding it as it’s held by one of the milk bottles. It’s a pretty good scene, but I can see why it was cut.

Brad Armstrong and Devinn Lane team up to give an audio commentary for the feature. As usual they talk a bit about what happened behind the scenes and a lot about the performers and what’s happening in the feature. There’s also plenty of Devinn’s wonderful sex talk, which will probably work just as well for a lot of people as what’s on the screen. Slammy also stops in for most of the commentary, and also adds a few questions for Devinn when Brad steps out. It’s a pretty good commentary, and fun to listen to.

Finally, there’s All Acccess: The Making of Women in Uniform, which lasts about twenty nine minutes and features camera work by David Crawford and Gleon. It’s nicely broken down scene by scene, and each star is identified as they take the screen. Most of the featurette concentrates on the actual scenes and photos being shot, and doesn’t take much time for Brad working with the stars, the cast having fun on the set, or what’s going on elsewhere on the set. It’s still there, and puts a little fun here and there. Surprisingly, the milk maid scene is also here, which is a nice little bonus. It’s a pretty average behind the scenes featurette that will be better enjoyed by those who enjoy the film making process than those wanting to see what all happens behind the scenes. For those wanting to see some of the other behind the scenes happenings, there’s also a few easter eggs hidden throughout the DVD.

Raincoat Factor: Very high

Overall: Currently, most Wicked DVDs can be found for between $20 and $28 with most stores offering them for around $25. This is pretty fair for what you get here. The movie is pretty hot, and although the transfer is a bit weak for Wicked’s standards, the extras are great.
