This is one of the best quality adult films I have ever seen. The only problem with the entire DVD is in the commentary. I thought that the commentary was a little too quiet, especially Raven Touchstone. I had a hard time hearing most of the comments she made. The Plot: Jenna Jameson plays Fawn Deering, a college student researching animal mythology and human sexuality. This leads her to Dr. Jade (Asia Carrera) for an interview. While there, she meets Adam (Brad Armstrong) and is drawn to him. Sophie the maid (Missy) warns her to leave Jade Manor and never look back, but Fawn cannot resist Adam's invitation to return that weekend to observe a bacchanal.

Review brief: The intrigue of Raw goes beyond watching attractive people have sex, beyond enjoying a well-written, funny film. Raw speaks about the varying facets of the porn industry, drawing a sharp contrast between the productions of an Antonio Passolini (the writer/director) and the fuck flicks of Pierre, the director portrayed in the movie. I don't want to sound like I'm writing a college thesis here, but Raw is a lot more than plot, dialog and sex. Raw speaks volumes about the porn industry and even includes actual locations (The Stage) and extras from within the industry (I recognized a couple faces from porn sets.) Joel Lawrence, this film actually stars a man, plays a phenomenal reluctant porn star who rises to the top, becomes an ass, and hits rock bottom. Kylie Ireland has a great performance as his innocent fiance turned sexual dynamo. And Hershel Savage is a perfect producer/agent. Great casting. Great acting.

So I just had to see this for myself. Plot: This is set up like a Video Magazine chronicling the history of Private. Each scene is supposed to represent some venture and time point in Privates history. Likes: Most compilation movies are just hours and hours of the same thing.

Review brief: I've often stated that as a rule I don't like virtual sex DVDs. Chasing Stacy is certainly the exception to that rule. It's much more than just another virtual sex title. It is the new yardstick by which all future virtual sex titles will be measured. Chasing Stacy contains three full sex scenes, a well-done strip tease and a masturbation scene in addition to three interactive segments. It's also the most impressive use of DVD technology I have seen yet from any studio, adult or mainstream. Chasing Stacy is broken down into 5 major sections from the opening menu. Chasing Stacy: 'Chasing Stacy' is the first interactive segment where you get a simulated glimpse of a day in the life of Stacy Valentine. At various points in the 'chase' you have the option of asking her out on a date. If you ask her out at the right time she'll say yes and you are rewarded, moving on the 'Virtual Date' section. I felt a bit like Dirk the Daring (of Dragon's Lair fame) as the chase commenced.

Review brief: "When you got somethin' this good, you share it with your friends." Jaybird (Paul Thomas) tells John (Jon Martin) about Hot Hips (Jesie St. James) This sums up Nurses of the 407th. This is one of the best adult spoofs I have ever seen. It spoofs MASH with the same plot and acting as the late sitcom. In fact, the acting and plot are probably better than most of the sitcoms on TV today. I know I laughed more watching this as I do at most sitcoms. Herschel Savage is a riot as a patient who gets in worse condition the longer he stays in the hospital. Jesie St. James has a hilarious solo scene sweet talking her dildo (Mr. Penis), and is one of the hottest adult film stars I have ever seen. It's sad that she disappeared from the adult film scene so quickly. The makers of the movie went very much for production values. There are many extras who we never even see in a sex scene, as well as not every scene has a cum shot. Normally I always want to have a 'big finish' to each sex scene, but in Nurses of the 407th, it doesn't detract from the movie.

Review brief: The Plot: Oh, how I love a movie with a plot! It doesn't have to be a completely consistent plot, but something with dialogue always gets my attention. And this movie has some great dialogue, most of it delivered by Tina Tyler. Stacy does her part very well, including an audition for Time Travelling Lobster Boy that is hilarious. Nikita and Vicca add a touch of the exotic in their few lines, and Randy Spears puts in a great performance as the workaholic husband. I apparently grew up with too much poorly acted porn, because I am continually amazed when I seen good performances, such as the ones in DMJ6. The tough part is describing the plot without laughing. This movie has some hilarious moments in it, most of them visual, some of them subtle, and a few that fall into "you just had to be there". We start our movie with Satan interviewing the newest catch, Buffy (Anita Cannibal). We flash back three days earlier where we see Buffy living in her trailer and ignoring her husband who works in the slaughterhouse.

Raw speaks about the varying facets of the porn industry, drawing a sharp contrast between the productions of an Antonio Passolini (the writer/director) and the fuck flicks of Pierre, the director portrayed in the movie. I don't want to sound like I'm writing a college thesis here, but Raw is a lot more than plot, dialog and sex. Review brief: The Plot: Oh, how I love a movie with a plot! It doesn't have to be a completely consistent plot, but something with dialogue always gets my attention. And this movie has some great dialogue, most of it delivered by Tina Tyler. Stacy does her part very well, including an audition for Time Travelling Lobster Boy that is hilarious. Nikita and Vicca add a touch of the exotic in their few lines, and Randy Spears puts in a great performance as the workaholic husband. I apparently grew up with too much poorly acted porn, because I am continually amazed when I seen good performances, such as the ones in DMJ6. The tough part is describing the plot without laughing. This movie has some hilarious moments in it, most of them visual, some of them subtle, and a few that fall into "you just had to be there". We start our movie with Satan interviewing the newest catch, Buffy (Anita Cannibal). We flash back three days earlier where we see Buffy living in her trailer and ignoring her husband who works in the slaughterhouse.
