Initial Expectations: Extremely high. I’ve heard nothing but very high praise for this movie and the overall DVD looks to be excellent also.

Initial Reaction: Wow. If all DVDs were made like this, people would have forgotten what VHS is already.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is extremely clear and synchs great with the video. There’s some different audio styles throughout the movie, such as commentary from a nature show during a sex scene, but it works well and fits with the overall creativity of the movie. The video is normally excellent. There’s a few spots where there’s some soft focus blurring, but overall it’s great. Due to the transfer style, the picture has a feel like it was shot on film rather than video. It works well and doesn’t detract from the movie.

Music: The music is mostly a techno feel and is composed by Antonio Passolini (the director). It varies in style in a few spots, but fits the movie like a latex glove throughout the entire movie.

Review: What a way to start the new millennium. DMJ 6 or to lengthen things out (which adult films have a habit of doing to me), The Devil in Miss Jones 6, is one of those adult films (porno just doesn’t do it here) that I’ve had on my shelf for quite a while and just hadn’t gotten around to watching (until now). I admit that I should have watched it long ago, and I probably would have had I known that it was shot entirely in the spectacle of Chub-o- vision. For those wondering, yes, Chub-o-vision is superior to Smell-o-vision.

It all starts off so innocently. The glowing number 6. The crackling of the fires of Hell in the background. You can almost smell the sulfur. We learn that yes, we are in Hell. To be more precise, Hell at 7:46 pm last night as Satan (Tina Tyler) welcomes Buffy (Anita Cannibal) to Hell. Tina is outstanding as Satan. I doubt that anyone will match her, although I’m sure that many will continue to copy her (such as Elizabeth Hurley). As most of us have suspected, Satan is a woman, and she also appears to be British from her accent. As Buffy sits listening to Satan, succubi Zul and Zol (Vicca and Nikita) hover around behind her in black PVC cat suits. Trailer trash that Buffy is, she thinks she should have a lawyer, which amuses Satan greatly.

Flashing back to Buffy’s life in the trailer park, we learn Buffy is below trailer trash far enough that she doesn’t even live in the trailer park. Their trailer sits just outside the slaughterhouse where her husband (Scotty Schwartz) works. As soon as her husband leaves for work, Buffy goes to work on Ian and J. J. This scene sets the mood for the rest of the movie very well with some different audio (such as the aforementioned nature soundtrack), camera angles, and sex that pushes some limits. In this case, Anita takes both guys in her pussy at the same time. Even as a guy I couldn’t help but wince as I watched Anita take both of them on.

Returning to Hell, Satan gives us a little background on her, God, and why we need men? As the great tempter, Satan knows that there are bad girls, such as Buffy, and then there are girls who aren’t bad but are dealt some brutal cards in the game of life. Girls such as Miss Justine Jones (Stacy Valentine). Justine is on Earth trying to get some from her boyfriend Arthur (Randy Spears). Apparent loser that Arthur is, he’d rather work on translating a spell for summoning a succubus than pay attention to Justine standing in front of him in her lingerie. Justine is pissed and horny enough that she goes to the bathroom to get herself off.

In her fantasy, Stacy is Little Pink Riding Hood who skips down the hallway on her way to see Granny. When she arrives, she doesn’t find Granny, but instead the Beekeeper (Steve Hatcher) sits hooded beside the bed. The audio here really shines, as you can hear a faint buzzing from the bees throughout the scene. Steve is a riot as the beekeeper. You can’t help but chuckle at him as his eyes go crazy when he announces that he’s the beekeeper. Stacy does a great job as the ‘innocent’ pink riding hood, until, of course, the beekeeper starts fucking her pretty little arse. Needless to say, this is a really hot scene that will get almost anybody’s juices flowing and will make anybody realize that there’s a void in the adult film world now that she’s retired.

Later, Justine comes out, she finds a note from Arthur promising to make up for last night. She looks through the books Arthur was translating and reads from them a little also. As she walks away, the book bursts into flames, which Justine doesn’t notice. Of course, this also lets us know that Arthur probably avoids a lot of Justine’s cooking. She probably specializes in flambee, although she might not intend to.

Justine arrives at Mr. Hotshot Producer’s house, where Mr. Hotshot Producer (Michael J. Cox) himself waits by the pool to jerk off as Justine reads her lines. Justine finally agrees to take care of him better than either of his hands can in exchange for the part.

While Justine is at her ‘audition’, Arthur comes home to find the book in ashes and Zul and Zol waiting for him. They tell Randy they have come to wreak sexual havoc, and like any other red blooded American boy, Randy doesn’t see a problem with women looking like Vicca and Nikita wreaking sexual havoc. Especially if it includes him, which it does. The scene is extremely hot but isn’t nearly as hardcore as what I expected. With two succubi played by Vicca and Nikita I expected a fairly nasty scene. I’m not disappointed, it’s just a lot tamer than what I expected.

Meanwhile, Stacy is banging Michael’s brains out. As usual, Stacy does a fabulous job and looks hotter than hell (pun intended) as she fucks Michael’s brains out by the pool. Being a slimeball producer, her lets Stacy do almost all the work as he smokes and drinks at the same time. I couldn’t help but think that if they’d show this at a few high school career days we’d having nothing but producers in this world. After Justine finishes her second ‘audition’, the producer tells Justine that she has to get on her way since he has many other girls to interview for the part. This tears Justine up all the way home and she reminds herself that she told herself she’d never sleep with a producer to get a part again. She calls for Arthur but instead of getting an answer finds some used rubbers and pictures of the succubi. Typical of almost any woman, Justine is not happy.

Meanwhile, back in Hell, lesbos (as it’s Mr. Passolini’s choice of terms in the credits) Lacey Ogden (now known as Keri Windsor) and Peris Bleu get nasty in front of Satan’s desk. Since it takes place in Hell, one would expect this scene to be a little nastier, which it is. There’s some toy play and also some anal action. Satan doesn’t pay much attention, as she’s in the middle of a great book. It’s too bad, since this is some hot stuff. Mr. Passolini also did some great slow motion stuff in the scene with Keri sticking her tongue out before she eats out Peris. I don’t like slow motion in adult films. It doesn’t seem natural. Except here. I started to complain to myself about slow motion, and as the action slowed, so did the words coming out of my mouth. I’ve never seen slow motion used as well as it is here. After the girls finish, Satan sets them up for the same time next week and calls her assistant Miss Hathaway (Crystal Crawford) for her next appointment. Miss Hathaway informs her about the succubi being summoned away. Of course, this doesn’t make Satan happy. She has Miss Hathaway cancel her appointments and send the backlog to Starfucks as she heads to Earth to straighten things out. Looking at Tina as Satan, there should be absolutely no problem with a lot of things getting straightened out.

On Earth, the nightly news features a report on the Satanic She-devils on Rampage. Justine recognizes Zul and Zol from the pictures she found and tries to call the news. It might have worked, if Satan hadn’t shown up. Satan stops her from making the call and informs her than she wants to replace Zul and Zol with Justine. Satan thinks this is only fair since it’s Justine’s fault that Zul and Zol were taken from her. They finally agree that Justine will help Satan get Zul and Zol back. Of course, Satan also wants pizza. Satan wasn’t born yesterday and knows from the pornos she’s watched that the pizza dudes are normally pretty well hung and she’s horny.

After the intermission, yes, DMJ 6 includes an intermission, Satan gets to wrestle instead of having a pizza. It’s a big match with The Tick (Stacy in a blue mask), Cornjulio (John Strong), The Masked Spastic (Chris Cannon), and of course, El Diablo (who needs no explanation). El Diablo is the only person without a mask and the scene is fulled with techno disco music. As the guys go down, so do the ladies! When I saw the masks, I was a little afraid of a domination scene, but instead this scene was a lot of fun. The commentator announces several times in the scene and the wrestling theme continues through the entire scene. The only bad thing is that Tina and Stacy only work on the guys and never each other.

As Satan and Justine wrestle with what’s happening, mega-action star Bruce Pitt (Chris Cannon) offers Zul (Nikita) a ride. Zul commands him to take her to his house and show her his penis. Of course this sounds great to Bruce, who takes Zul home and, with the help of the very able Nurse Wratchet (Juli Ashton) ties Zul to the wall with a ball gag in her mouth. Zul breaks loose while Nurse Wratchet is getting the cat of nine tails, and roles change around a little. Nikita really dominates this scene (once again, pun intended). It’s obvious that she’s really enjoying herself and she puts both Chris and Juli in their places. She even makes Chris wear one of the dildo headsets and fuck her while she eats Juli. Needless to say, this isn’t the most couples-friendly scene, but it is hot.

Keeping things original, we jump to Madam Zola’s Psychic Hotline where Madame Zola (who has a very masculine voice) appears to be taking a dump while looking at a magazine specializing in naked men when the phone rings. Justine is calling asking for help in finding the succubi and ‘Madame’ Zola tells her, in a now almost feminine voice, that she sees a plumber and gives her an address. As much as Satan doesn’t like Justine’s idea, she doesn’t have a better idea so they decide to go with Justine’s idea.

At ‘Madame’ Zola’s magic address, otherwise known as succubus central, plumber Kyle Stone shows up since Zul and Zol called the manager complaining about a problem with their plumbing. The girls don’t want Kyle to leave mad, so they let Kyle check both of them out. This is another well above average scene, and I have to agree some with Satan about her doubting Madame Zola. Kyle doesn’t appear to have any problems with his plumbing as her blows his population pudding all over Vicca and Nikita’s tits. Of course Justine and Satan arrive soon after to send the succubi back to hell, but I really shouldn’t ruin the surprise. It’s very well done and fits the movie well.

Having everything back to normal, we return to Arthur and Justine’s. Arthur, of course, is reading, until Justine shows up as she did before. One little difference this time, she’s all in black fetish wear and looking extremely hot. Arthur can’t resist and they go at it like horny little devils (since Justine learned a thing or two lately). It’s a great scene to finish with, as Stacy is one of the hottest women in porn and Randy is one of the best leading men out there. Even with Stacy and Randy, the scene didn’t disappoint with the high expectations I had for it.

Back in Hell, we return to the opening scene. Buffy is in the chair with Zul and Zol around her while she requests a lawyer. Satan is amused and suggests the entire dream team before giving her a ball gag instead.

Finally, VCA ends things as they should be. They include real credits that show both the character’s name (which Mr. Passolini had a lot of fun with) as well as who played them. Not just the cast, either. Most of the crew is also listed. Thank you, VCA and please continue this in your future releases.

About all that’s missing in DMJ 6 is Stacy and Tina working on each other. They have really great chemistry between them in the scenes they’re together. As soon as they meet, you know that you want to see them go to work on each other, and the wrestling scene doesn’t help things. If Stacy ever makes a comeback, hopefully a scene with Tina will be at the top of her list. The lack of a scene between the two of them is the only real complaint I can have about DMJ 6 .

Extras: As usual, there’s a photo gallery, trailers, and internet info, but there’s a lot more than that on this DVD. The photo gallery is short than most, lasting only a little over a minute and a half with about eight seconds per shot. Despite it’s length, the image quality is some of the best I’ve seen. VCA also offers high quality trailers. On this DVD, they include trailers for Cashmere, Sex Commandos (with Stacy Valentine), and Love’s Passion (with Juli Ashton) .

The cast section includes a short bio section, some stills of the star, and a link to the star’s scene. The bio section gives some background on the star and their interests and other movies more than it gives an actual bio of the star. Stacy, Nikita, and Vicca also give short interviews.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about three and a quarter minutes. It splices together interviews with the stars and comments on the film and other stars. Not surprisingly, Randy Spears is the highlight of the behind the scenes. He’s every bit as funny here as he is in his movies. Randy reveals the secret of the perfect cum shot and other secrets of the adult film world

The commentary with Stacy and Tina is excellent. It’s probably the best commentary I’ve heard so far. Considering the fun in Jonathan Morgan’s commentaries, that’s really saying something. There’s great interplay between the ladies and it’s obvious they’re having a lot of fun, as they continue through the entire credits. They give a lot of background on the scenes as well as the cast themselves. They talk about their love of facials and also give sex tips including the differences between wearing rubber and PVC. They even bet on who’ll come first in a group scene.

The deleted scene from DMJ 6 lasts almost eight minutes between Vicca and Dizzy and would have taken place after the scene between Juli, Nikita, and Chris Cannon. Mr. Passolini gives a short interview about the scene and why it was cut which you can listen to if you wish. In it, Dizzy plays Sleaze, a musician who has summoned Vicca. She tells him what she will do to him as a succubus and he’s all for it. It’s an average scene overall, but compared to the rest of DMJ 6 it’s a little weak, and if a scene needed to be cut, this was a wise choice. Thankfully, VCA gave this scene the same great transfer they gave the rest of the movie, unlike other companies who give the bonus scenes a poorer transfer. Thank you, VCA.

There are also three bonus scenes from previous Devil In Miss Jones movies. Two of them are from DMJ 3 , which Mr. Passolini wrote, and the other is from DMJ 5 . Mr. Passolini also gives some background information on these scenes.

The first scene from DMJ 3 takes place outside of Hell and is between Tom Byron and Jennifer Noxt. It lasts about seven and a half minutes and includes shaving, anal, and a finger DP. It’s an okay scene, but it really shows its age.

The second scene from DMJ 3 takes place in Hell with one of the immortal goddesses of the adult film world, Miss Vanessa Del Rio. This scene lasts almost nine minutes and Vanessa takes on five guys. Surprisingly, there’s no anal sex here. Even more surprisingly, the guys all wear black hoods and masks and grunt and squeal like pigs. It’s probably safe to say that you haven’t seen a scene like this before.

Finally, the scene from DMJ 5 takes place in Hell where Jeanna Fine is teaching Juli Ashton how to enjoy sex with the help of Cal Jammer, Nick East, and Marc Davis. The scene lasts about seven and a half minutes and has a Roman theme to it. There’s some real heat to the scene and it includes lesbianism, group sex, anal, and a double penetration. In the end, Jeanna has all the guys cum in her outstretched palms for Juli to lap up before she and Juli kiss. This was my favorite of the three scenes from the past films.

Themes: Straight, group, anal, lesbian, toys, DP, DV, rimming (male > female and female > female), fetish wear, bondage, and light spanking.

Raincoat Factor: Pretty high. The sex is different and isn’t for everybody, so it might not be the best spank movie.

Overall: Currently DMJ 6 can be found online for between $20 and $25 with most stores having it for under $22. Although it’s not for everybody, it should be on everybody’s shelf as an example of how a DVD should be done. The audio and video are excellent, the movie is well done, and the extras are fabulous.

Note to VCA: This is one of the best DVDs I’ve ever seen. If you put as much effort into your other DVDs as you have into this one, you’ll be a force to be reckoned with.
