Review brief: Only one person in a DVD? What the heck? Ah, but this isn't a normal everyday run of the mill video-to-DVD. This is what DVD was made for - an interactive experience. In this case, the lovely Tera Patrick at your beck and call, available for your..er, interaction. Get the idea? First things first, this is the first DVD that I actually had to retouch the box on. No, not to improve on Tera's great body, but to censor parts of it, lest I violate the ol' TOS. I don't think it takes away from it too much, do you? No, I didn't think so. (It was almost the second to do the same, but I found a good boxcover of The Hooker [the VHS box had scenes from the movie] and I was able to use it). To make a long story short, it's Tera, doing whatever you want, at the hands of your trusty DVD controller and the handy menu. Want her to strip? Give head? Let you mount her from behind? From front? Click the button and it's there.

Review brief: Whaddya know? A DVD with an actual plot! The plot is simple but effective - Kobe and her two friends go out for a sleepover in the wilderness, and get stranded in the middle of nowhere. They spend the night in an abandoned shack - which isn't really abandoned, as the three male owners (and one female) show up, and they ain't happy at all. They eventually split up and go out, which leads to the usual fun scenes. But here's the good part. You'd think they'd live together happily ever after, right? Nope. The guys are still mad, so guess what Kobe and Co. do? THEY KILL THEM! All of them! And they celebrate at the end with a hot-hot-hot three- way. Now that, my friends, is a plot I can get into. :) Not only that, the acting doesn't suck. That may be a first for porno, but it's true (except for some bad stuff at the start, but you can't have everything).

Review brief: Remember how I was complaining about plots? If you want a show with no plot whatsoever...watch Nitro. HA! No. Seriously, pick up this movie. No plot whatsoever - and this isn't a bad thing. The video is a series of scenes, all wrapped together by the beautiful Chloe. She introduces and wraps up each scene, all the while cooing to the viewer and working herself over, first with her own two hands, and finishing off with a transculent dildo. She is definitely the best part of the video, and for those that love to see a woman "going solo", you'll probably ignore the other scenes just to watch her. That wouldn't be a good move, however, because the other scenes themselves are top-notch. The eight scenes in the video contain some great action. It was like a reunion of The Hooker for me, as both Heather Lee and Brittany O'Connell, two stars of that first DVD or mine, were featured in separate scenes.

Review brief: Hey! More Vivid! This is what you would call "couples porn". This is the kind of DVD you would watch with a significant other. It's not raunchy at all. This is about as tasteful as a video can get without being declared softcore. Everything is revealed in detail, but it's done in a good fashion, if that makes sense. The storyline is light, with a very romantic feel. The DVD is set in 1508, and the Pope needs the Sistine Chapel painted..but Michelangelo's too busy to do it. Instead, he recommends his sister, Michelangela, played by the stunning Dyanna Lauren. The Pope isn't interested (at least not yet) in having a woman do such an important job. Things change by video's end, though. The best scenes, of course, involve the ladies. In the middle of the movie, Anna Malle introduces the virginal (ha!) Dyanna to the wonders of intercourse as the two go at it in one of the best lesbian scenes I've seen in a long time. Jenna Jameson, in one of her first roles, watches on from afar, and gets going afterward with Anna as Dyanna watches.

Review brief: Pretty star-studded lineup, eh? Well, when Raw's under the Vivid line (both sort of "co-promote" this DVD) you can expect a lot of names. From a site standpoint, to make the template for this review, I copied The Other Side Of Chloe's file, which is rather appropriate - this is in the same style as that great DVD, but hosted by the charming Asia Carrera. She strips, fondles and plays with herself while introducing a bunch of separate scenes. Much like TOSOC, the scenes have nothing to do with each other, other than that they're all introed by Asia and they all have sex in them. For some reason, I'm horrible with names while watching this - either they look different or I can't recognize them. For instance, I can't find Dyanna in here, although I looked through all the scenes, and the extras. Maybe I'm just blind. Watching all these DVDs will do that to you after a while. :) No problems with any of the scenes, but my favorites were the lez scene between Asia and Kobe Tai (way too short, though) and of course, Chloe's m/f scene.

Review brief: The second DVD I bought, and the first one from big name Vivid. Right off, you notice the difference between this DVD and one from a smaller company like VXI - tons and tons of extra features. Even the quality on the DVD is higher, a direct result of Vivid's production values. Multiple angles show off the advancement of the DVD technology, as you can switch to different views of the action. We'll start with the good points - the women look great in this video, especially Kobe Tai, the star of the flick, and the beautiful Deva, especially when they engage in the final and hottest scene of the video. The dancing between Deva and Jacklyn Lick is also tremendous, and even better, this scene features multiple angles. Ever wanted to see a lapdance from a different angle? Go right ahead. It's fun! Now the bad part. The rest of the scenes are..well, not nearly as good. They consist mainly of Kobe peeping in on couples twice, being caught once and dragged into the middle of a threesome.

Review brief: In the last review, I complained about the lack of a good plot and a lack of really good action. Not so in this one. It doesn't pretend to have a plot at all. In fact, there's almost zero dialogue. There's a house. There's men, and there's women. In and around the house, they have sex. It doesn't get much more cut and dried than that, friends. The action carries the flick, and the action is great, with all the stops being pulled out. The first scene demonstrates that, with Racquel, Derrick Lane and Tianna all going at it, finishing with Racquel using a strapon on Tianna. In a bit of a cheesy bit, Tianna inquires if Racquel would go for an anal with Derrick. Racquel considers it as we fade out to...more sex. That set the tone for the entire movie, with multiple scenes going on at once in and around the house. No dialogue, no plot, nothing but sex, sex, and more sex. And it works. Racquel's the definite star of this movie (well, duh, she's on the box, see?) turning in stellar performances in three scenes.

Review brief: This was the first DVD I bought, and it was a great choice. The sole reasons I bought it was because a) it was cheaper than usual (most DVDs sell for about 40 bucks, this one was only 20), and b) it featured my favorite star, Heather Lee. Her scene in this was great, featuring her and two other guys together (don't ask me to name them - whom pays attention to porn for the men, anyway? :) but the rest of the DVD was good as well. Tara Heart, the star of the DVD, was featured in three scenes, each better than the last, culminating in a two guy/two girl scene at the very end. Red-headed Brittany O'Connell is the real star in this DVD, having by far the best scenes in the video (two with Tara Heart). The title came into heavy play only twice - with Venessa Steele's interlude with a john and Brittany handing "her best girl", Heather, off to the two men in her scene. All in all, a very enjoyable DVD. The extra features seen in most DVDs, however, are nonexistant, dropping my score down a bit.

Review brief: About the best way to describe this DVD would be decent. The plot is middling-to-decent - to impress his wife (Asia's role in the movie), the main character has a special operation to reverse his age. Hence the title of the DVD. Interesting, no? Not really, no. The movie becomes nothing more past that than him trying to prove to Asia that he deserves the gift of youth. This would be serviceable if the sex was good, but unfortunately, it too is merely decent. The action is there, the moves are there, the grunts and moans are there, but there's just something missing. The majority of the scenes just seem to lack heat and chemistry. The effort's just not there, and it shows. The final scene nearly makes up for the movie's shortcoming, as an orgy breaks out at a party and everybody turns it up a notch. Oral, anal, two-on- one, three-on-one, everything gets displayed here, and it all works. The last part is a three- way, which the main guy (I told you I'm horrible with names :) pulls Asia away from, complaining about her having some fun.

Review brief: First things first, somebody must like me out there - after I complained about the DVDs I've seen not having any good credits, in order to match names to faces, this one has the perfect solution - run clips of each star and then a screen with their name. Bravo to Vivid! Chloe impresses me every time I see her, as her scene scorched the beginning of the movie. She gets plowed in an extended scene by Tony Tedeschi and looks like she's going nuts as she's doing it. By the time it's over, they're almost panting for breath due to the exertion, giving Chloe that ever-so-nice glow. :) The movie has two scenes featuring Leslie Glass and Ricky O (her real-life S/O). The first scene was good, but disjointed, as they change around positions too much to really get into a groove. The second scene is much better, with much better transitions and an anal scene, which is apparently rare for Les.

Review brief: Pretty straightforward, isn't it? This is one of the "wall-to-wall fellatio" movies that many have gotten tired of. Not me. This contains eight scenes by eight differnt women, each featuring - what else - a blowjob, from start to finish. All eight scenes are good in themselves, with a few standing out from the rest: * The best scene in the video belongs to the white-hot Alexis Dane, one of the most beautiful starlets I've ever seen, and one that might quickly become my favorite star as soon as I see more videos of her. Considering she has 263 titles listed to her credit at RAME, that shouldn't be too difficult. As Beavis would say...BOI-OI-OI-OI-OING. * If you like Heather Lee - and I do - you'll like Erika Bella, whom has an extremely similar look to Heather, except taller and more realistically proportioned. :) Her interracial scene in this video is great as well. * This was the first time I've seen Sinderella, and the first thing you notice about her is her size - she's tiny! 4'11" tall, and only weighing 95 pounds. She's a little bundle of joy, though, and extremely enthusiastic.
