This 2 disc compilation set from Private is probably going to be over-looked by a lot of gonzo fans. Private's status with mainstream porn consumers as the equivalent of what Vivid Video was in the late 90s is probably to be expected. Still, there are several noteworty scenes included in this collection, some of which are must-see quality. The scenes breakdown as follows; DISC ONEScene 1: Katja Kean, Anastasia, Brigita, Andrew Youngman. from Fatal Orchid, 11/1997 d: Pierre Woodman This clip shows a young Katja in some slightly low-light, indoor conditions but adequate video quality. I should clarify that average picture quality for most Private scenes is usually better than average quality for gonzo. This is a HUGE six-box set featuring Wanda Curtis, Bettina, and Monique Covet. It includes everything from days-in-the-life scenes to some of their more memorable scenes that they have performed since they have been with Private. Each disc is two sides, so what you dont see on one side you will see on the other, even though there is not that much material on the second side. This is a very well-made set, and the biggest that I have seen Private release to date. These must be three of there best stars, and they really do give them the star treatment. There is such a wide variety of sex here, that you will honestly not get bored, especially if any one, two, or all three of these beautiful women are your cup of tea. So, if you like sheer volume and a wide array of fucking you cant go wrong. Most of the action is dubbed over in English, but I really dont think that will matter to almost anyone if the fucking and sucking is what youre after, not what theyre saying. My review: Lingerie A Go-Go is a compilation of 10 scenes from various Private movies with a total running time of 2 ½ hours. To be clear, this is NOT a compilation with an emphasis on babes wearing sexy lingerie prior to or during the sex action but rather it is a standard compilation of mish, mash scenes with a catchy, marketable title. The compilation contains the standard Private fare hot looking females engaging in group sex, anal, DPs and hot sex. I found the scenes to be a mixed bag with my favorites being the 1st scene with Sophie Evans looking as hot as ever as a blonde getting a DP in cowgirl, the 4th scene with Shay and Wanda dressed in sexy latex outfits, and the last scene with Delphine, who is a gorgeous blonde getting some good anal. For those not into the artsy Private stuff, only 2 of the 10 scenes fit the artsy criteria and they are the 3rd scene with Laura Angel and the 4th scene with Shay and Wanda. This compilation DVD claims to include 50 girls displayed over more than two hours. That may well be, but I lost track after about 20 scenes. As usual with the Euros, they do not identify the performers. Which is a shame, because many of the girls are downright beautiful. The least attractive girls would have to be considered good looking. I would like to obtain some of the original features based on what I saw here. But, alas, Ill never figure out who these girls are, nor the original features the scenes were clipped from. Note: a cast list is included in the DVD extras, but it is impossible to follow after the first four scenes. However, the one constant from Private is this hot looking female cast, nice locales/background scenery, and good camera work and these scenes are no exception. I am going to caution the reader that some of these scenes have been recycled in other movies. This release is one I've been looking forward to ever since Private started releasing this series. Michelle was in so many of their titles and she was so hot in them that this one should definitely fly off the shelfs!! The Private Life of... series is probably the strongest line in the private series. For your money you get two discs, with approx. two hours more material than the VHS version, and more frequently in the series nowerdays, better special features such as extra scenes. Dora was never one of my favourite Private girls, considering this series has covered the likes of Covet, Wild (Cassandra and Michelle), Anderson and many more. I have seen her previously in many features and whilst she was good, she never really stood out in my mind. This compilation did somewhat to change that. The interview, which binds each of the scenes is shot on a beach and Dora's english isn't the best but understandable. On the first disc there are 6 scenes in the feature with an extra scene, (also there is a hidden scene but i cant be assed to look for it!). The movie consists of outtakes from other movies bolstered with some 'behind the scenes' stuff. It gives you an OK sample of what the studio is about. This one has Michelle Wild, Rita Faltoyano & new cummer Susy all in hot, hot scenes. The way the movie flows is like a compilation disc. There is no acting, just non-stop sex. Although there is a set-up for every scene, but no talking, just hot sex. The 1st scene stars a private new cummer named carmen who has black hair and some nice b-sized tits. Her scene was nothing to shout about, but just like every other private scene they are all worthy of a watch. Another scene worth mentioning is the 3rd scene with Michelle Wild, Laureen Kiss & Melinda. As I have said before Kovi does some of the best lesbian scene, and this one was just that case. Now of course you have to be a fan of this dominating star to make the purchase, but really who isn't a fan. This title comes with two discs (apparently for the price of one), with a total of 15, yes 15 scenes. The first disc also contains a lot of interview footage with Monique, that is absolutely fantastic. I think she may have turned me on more in some of those interviews. On the second disc I was very impressed with the extras, mainly the photo galleries. The photo galleries are from her Private magazine work, and are very high quality, and well organized. She has made several films now for Private's Pirate Video Deluxe line and this is certainly her best work. Her pop-video styled, highly experimental films are normally split into a series of vignettes, and this title is no different. Her films are often a little disturbing and freaky, and definitely not for lovers of straight forward Gonzo, but also can offer a nice change from the usual formula. Scene One Insanity Describing a Tanya Hyde scene is no easy task normally her scenes have little structure, but Ill do my best to convey the weird images presented to me. First up is a scene set in the grounds of a mansion, where a wheel chair confined man is brought over to an empty pool, observed by nuns and a strange dude in a gas mask! Hyde uses these directors tools with a deft touch in my opinion, allowing the editing and color shifts to enhance the mood she has already created through with great sets, themes and costumes. If you are already familiar with Hyde's films then you should already have a good idea of what to expect. She explores some very kinky sexual themes throughout the course of this film.
