Review brief: Ahhhh....Peter North's "North Pole" series I love porn! I think this one was probably Peter's best yet. This one stars Tera Patrick, April, and Kelsey Heart as the highlights for me. I know male stars aren't responsible for selling adult videos, but North is the exception. The size of his fan base is comparable to that of most women in the industry, and it certainly has been as long lasting as most.

Review brief: As you can see by the numbers, this is a pretty average DVD. Aside from a few scenes which are pretty hot, the only redeeming quality of this release is that it's 4 hours long. Asia Carrera, Tricia Yen, and Kitty Yung are the only big-name girls in this thing and their scenes are pretty good (except hot Kitty Yung gets it on with a chunky white chick instead of a big cock...disappointing!). The rest are pretty much FOB amateurs that you'll probably never see again! And the video quality is nothing to brag about. It's the same thing you're used to seeing on video, except in DVD format. There are no special features to speak of. All you can do is skip from one scene to the next. In fact, the chapters aren't even separated correctly... if you skip to "chapter 2" you'll land in the middle of a scene. This DVD definitely has it's highs and numerous lows.

Despite the fact this DVD is as good as just about any wall-to-wall offering out there, you can often find copies at discounted prices. Whatever your favorite retailer is asking for it though, it's money well spent. New Breed, shot in east coast high rise apartments and hotel suites, escapes the familiar look of the traditional porn valley studio shoot. In it, director Jules Jordan has put together six unconnected scenes with five eager women. Among them are pre-Vivid contract girl Devon (billed here as Devin Striker), Leanni Lei, and Leanna Hart. There's a lot of talent here for the porn watching novice to discover. I've had a soft spot in my heart for Devon since I first saw her. She inspires in me the same kind of lust Candie Evans once did when I first started watching these kinds of movies.

The Plot: Oh, how I love porn with a plot! Stupid plot, dumb plot, fun plot, I don't care. Just give me something that shows that our intrepid cast members have more talent than an inflatable doll. Stupid plot, dumb plot, fun plot, Double Feature! gives you all that and more. You see, there is a reason it is called Double Feature! as in there are no less than two separate (kind of) movies on this disc.

It is an outdoor scene, where a male and female start getting frisky in the courtyard of a hotel. We then jump to the first M/F scene, it is of a couple in bed, with the footage shot through the window and from a hidden camera in the air vent. Part way thorugh this scene we see an extreme close-up, from an angle that can't be from the window or the air vent.

So some of the things I found to be boring may be what other people want to see. Mainly, the chicks in this movie were way too recessive. The whole time through the DVD I thought they were trying not to wake the neighbors. Don't get me wrong, most of them would probably be good in bed, but there is a difference between good in bed and good on screen. At least one of the scenes gave the impression of intimacy between the two partners, but it wasn't incredibly exciting to watch.

Mark has a great body, not to mention a very thick cock and some big hairy balls. The question is, will he be able to turn up the heat with another man? Cuffed! starts out with a very nice extreme close- up of Rob Lance drooling all over Marks cock. Unfortunately, Mark doesnt reciprocate much in this scene. Review brief: Ah, the 70s. The pre-Golden age of porn. Back when mustaches were mandatory and the films were grainier than my ass crack after a trip to the beach. Caballero digs WAY back into the vaults and re-releases Heavy Equipment on DVD. Was it worth the effort? Uh, hmm, err it depends. First things first, the picture quality is awful. I mean really, really bad. The video is very grainy, and the lighting is extremely dark in a few places. It isnt mentioned anywhere on the DVD, but I could swear that this was filmed in 3D. There are many places where you can see the standard red-blue double image required for 3D. This seems to happen most frequently when projectiles are coming straight at the screen. Penises, hands, dumbells, things like that. I dont have 3D glasses, though, so I cant confirm anything. If this wasnt done intentionally, then the picture quality is even worse that I thought. Our story (thats right, there is a story here!) starts out with our hero, the geeky Chester, working at an adult bookstore.

Only I have seen the first draft, and it's been erased. It's important to be fair, I believe, because the folks who made Carnal Secrets really did intend to make a good movie. Despite the modern day Max Hardcores, Rob Blacks, and the other multitudes of directors who dispatch "extreme hardcore" to your local smut shop, Stevens' tales of consentual incest are as controversial now as the day he shot them. In fact, the Taboo series continues on, though it has left its incestuous subject matter far behind. Once though, incest porn was a strange little niche market and it wasn't uncommon to find stories of fathers getting it on with their teenage daughters, teenage sons seducing their mothers, or siblings exploring sexuality together. Does this make you uneasy? Queasy even? Well, I think it's supposed to...a little. Sometime after Taboo 5 this series eliminated the incest angle.

The Coachs Instruction York Powers (the coach) is teaching Anthony Gallo, Nick Cannon and Trenton Comeaux some new wrestling moves. Caballero digs WAY back into the vaults and re-releases Heavy Equipment on DVD. Was it worth the effort? Uh, hmm, err it depends. First things first, the picture quality is awful. I mean really, really bad. The video is very grainy, and the lighting is extremely dark in a few places. It isnt mentioned anywhere on the DVD, but I could swear that this was filmed in 3D. There are many places where you can see the standard red-blue double image required for 3D. This seems to happen most frequently when projectiles are coming straight at the screen. Penises, hands, dumbells, things like that. I dont have 3D glasses, though, so I cant confirm anything. If this wasnt done intentionally, then the picture quality is even worse that I thought. Our story (thats right, there is a story here!) starts out with our hero, the geeky Chester, working at an adult bookstore.

When this happens you usually find some cliched set-up, like a horny pizza delivery boy, or something like that. Invariably, I think to myself, "I know porn acting is bad, but it's not that bad." Well, after watching Carnal Secrets, I've come to learn that it really is that bad. At least, it can be. My first impression of Carnal Secrets was so poor that I made myself reconsider out of a sense of fairness. In fact, you are now reading the second review of it that I've written. Only I have seen the first draft, and it's been erased. It's important to be fair, I believe, because the folks who made Carnal Secrets really did intend to make a good movie. They empoly locations, elaborate lighting, costumes and a really hot cast.

Despite the modern day Max Hardcores, Rob Blacks, and the other multitudes of directors who dispatch "extreme hardcore" to your local smut shop, Stevens' tales of consentual incest are as controversial now as the day he shot them. In fact, the Taboo series continues on, though it has left its incestuous subject matter far behind. Once though, incest porn was a strange little niche market and it wasn't uncommon to find stories of fathers getting it on with their teenage daughters, teenage sons seducing their mothers, or siblings exploring sexuality together. Does this make you uneasy? Queasy even? Well, I think it's supposed to...a little. Sometime after Taboo 5 this series eliminated the incest angle.

Most often I get the feeling that the women in these scenes aren't really into each other, and I'm never completely sure what they're building toward. They go down on each other, coo exhaustedly in each other's laps, and the scene is over. Two women together is supposed to be every man's fantasy, but it's never been mine. Now, about that caveat--when the girls are genuinely into each other, and they're kissing and enthusiastically grinding their bodies together with no regard for the camera, I start to feel a little something. Of all the lesbian scenes I've watched, only a small handful ever really excited me. The best I've seen, though, was Deidre Holland and Nikki Dial in Things Change: My First Time.

Review brief: Its nice to know there are some studios you can always count on for quality porn. I have yet to be disappointed by a Titan DVD, and this one is no exception. Following in the Titan tradition, there are no twinkie boys here. Titan has jam- packed this DVD with older, maturer guys, who, for the most part, are REALLY into their scenes. There are no young gay-for-pay studs who look like they would rather be having a root canal than being fucked here. The Coachs Instruction York Powers (the coach) is teaching Anthony Gallo, Nick Cannon and Trenton Comeaux some new wrestling moves. After a little bit of rolling around on the mat, they strip down and get right to the main event: fucking the hell out of Trenton. Anthony and York takes turns on top, while Nick just stands at the sidelines and watches (apparently Nick must have been having some major wood problems, as he doesnt do much in this scene at all). Anthony looks like he has eaten 1 to many HO-HOs, but he makes up for it with his passion for his work.
