Review brief: Ah, the compilation video. It sure brings back memories. I remember the first gay video I ever bought was a vivid compilation. I remember feeling so lucky when I stumbled upon it. I thought to my self, Wow! 4 whole hours of gay porn for only $20! Why would anyone pay upwards of $50 bucks for a regular video when you could get 4 whole hours for only $20 bucks!? Of course now I know why it was so cheap it was utter crap. The whole concept of the compilation video is a scam to fool the uniformed viewer. Take a bunch of worthless scenes from older videos (that are no longer selling), and repackage them and try to pass it off as new. It was only a matter of time before someone started marketing compilation DVDs. So, with our expectations sufficiently lowered, lets take a look at Something Wild 2. For starters, there are no special features. No cumshot compilations, screenshot galleries, zip. When you get to the menu, you only get one option: Play movie.

Review brief: After a few lackluster editions of this popular series following Selena Steele's impressive performance (in numbers 7-8) , THE GANG BANG GIRL returns to fine form with smoky and sexy brunette Deborah Welles headlining this three ring circus with fellow Euro actresses Monique and Berlin. Sporting an alternate photo to the original VHS boxcover, GBG #11, in my humble but informed opinion, marked a decisive uptrend and consistency in erotic heat and video quality which made this series exceptional. Although #11 isn't my favorite edition (hands, err...down, Francesca Le's performance in #13 left me breathless with awe and wonder over her carnal nastiness and has yet to be matched), just watching supermodel-esque brunette Deborah ravaged (in the purely playful sense, of course) by nine guys (even if one of them happens to be the repulsive Tony Montana) is worth the purchase price of admission alone.

Review brief: My overall view: The film is seriuosly lacking in acting ability or should I say directorial ability. Fellow Briton Mr. Clive Mclean is obviously a stalwart of the adult industry and perhaps because of that it seems like there is a lack of effort in making this episode of Barely Legal. For example, the plot revolving around the stepbrother and stepsister or stepfather and stepdaughter fuck scenes are just so lame. They were used incessantly in Barely Legal 1 and there surely must be another million plots they could try and use! The voice overs, where the girls are explaining how they lost their 'virginity' are pathetic. There is no emotion at all - as the topical joke goes "Why did the woman hang up on Al Gore?" "Because she thought it was a dial tone!" This is very relevant here, as the girls talk in such a monotonous way. Again, you expect more from Hustler.

This is another release by Philip St John whose Skateboard Sliders got some rave reviews. One trouble about Tribal Pulse releases is that their DVD image quality is very disappointing to a lot fans who have every reason to complain about it. Transferring analogue VHS signals to DVD digital format is a daunting task that requires huge investment in both hardware and software, plus the computer professionals with fine skills of encoding and authorizing. Its a serious professional job that are now being contracted and done by not so qualified workshops as we all witnessed from a couple of studios such as Sunshine, Centaur Films and Tribal Pulse. This movie is not a match to the hip hop skateboarder.

Review brief: Overview Finally, a movie made for DVD! It was only a matter of time before this was to happen. The only differences with this movie compared to a movie captured on video or film are picture quality, sound quality and true multiple angles. I know that a lot of people aren't fans of this, but you have to give credit where credit is do. All of my complaints with multiple angles in the past have been corrected in this movie. First, there's no icon on the screen at all. The multi- angles are throughout the entire movie for the whole scene. Both angles are great. The colors and brightness match. The angles are real-time. Meaning that you see the exact moment in the film, just a different angle. This is the way I think we all envisioned it to be in the first place... all movies until now have failed at it. The only other movie I thought that had good multi-angles was the solo scene in Rocki Roads' Wet Dreams. Ok ok... I'm done talking about the multiple angles... for now.

Video Quality: Typical gonzo quality, which is to say okay at best. Music: None. Initial Expectations: With both Missy and Stacy Valentine here, I had some pretty good expectations. That is, until I saw Randy West. Initial Reaction: Despite having Randy West, it's better than I expected.

Review brief: Starring: Stacy Valentine I just had sex with Stacy Valentine, or so I've been led to believe. Of course, watching a DVD "sex simulator" is not the real thing, close to the real thing, or a good substitution for the real thing. But, if you're one of the multitudes like myself who are in lust with Stacy Valentine, you'll be happy to take what you can get. What you get with Digital Sin's My Plaything: Stacy Valentine is a well constructed, crystal clear, ultra sexy two hours of porn. That's not to say that this production is without it's faults; virtual sex titles have their limitations. Still, short of having Stacy sweat all over you herself (and there's no denying the girl's got some overactive pores), this may be as good as you'll ever get. It's more accurate to call a title like this a high tech masturbation aid than a sex simulator. Sex is visceral; DVD is not, even when it's this technically perfect.

I suspect it might feel a little something like humping the Holy Grail--a warm, sexy, big breasted, exotic looking Holy Grail. Unfortunately, I'll never get to know for sure. My Plaything: Tera Patrick, on the other hand, promises that I can come real close to finding out in the privacy of my own living room. Review brief: Starring: Stacy Valentine Director: Wit Maverick Should I ever be struck by a bus and live, chances are the first thing I'll say upon being revived will be, "Forget about me! How's Stacy Valentine?" To put it mildly, I'm a fan. And why shouldn't I be? She's a got super heroine's body, a sweet and wild attitude, and she willingly does all those things I secretly want women to be doing. Unfortunately, she's never done those things to me. VCA, however, puts itself in the position of being my personal Mr. Rourke as their Chasing Stacy DVD suggests my fantasy might come true after all. I have to admit, considering they don't know just how perverse or elaborate my fantasies can be, they've done a fantastic job. As a virtual sex title, Chasing Stacy gets the job done, and done well. But it's more than just a "sex simulation." It's a game, and a mini greatest hits compilation, as well.

There's also a few spots which seem obviously dubbed and a few that seem dubbed but aren't that noticeable. Video Quality: Good. Music: The music is soft and romantic through most of the movie. It's also well balanced with the rest of the audio. Initial Expectations: With Raven Touchstone writing, Bud Lee directing, and Temptress and Anna Malle in the cast this seems like a sure winner. Initial Reaction: Pretty average.

Review brief: Anyone who has watched a lot of porn, knows what is it like when you accidentally pick up a movie that really rubs you the wrong way. You know what I mean the kind that makes you want to swear off porn forever? This, my friends, is exactly that movie. An hour and 40 minutes of the most god-awful porn I have ever seen. First off, the boys in this flick are just down right unattractive. I believe most of them are from Russia. They seem to range from age 18 to 20, but are all, for the most part, boney, scrawny, pimply, and in desperate need of a tan. There is 1 cute guy that I found in this movie, and Dolphin International was wise enough to put him on the cover of the DVD. The first scene is a mess. One of the stars of this scene has some small red bumps on his lips that look kind of like herpes. There is no way I would let this boy near my cock! As with the entire film, the sex is very generic.
